Had I picked up on many of the mechanics way sooner, I think this game would go from "loved" to "holy shit". The combat has a huge learn curve, but it's unlike anything I've played and really stands out. The skill ceiling holds it back a bit for me but I adore this world and its vibrant cast.

The wait for this game was mostly centered on the hype of it being a Persona Warriors game, but this is quite far from the truth of what the game actually is.

Take the Persona 5 formula, trim the fat a bit, and replace all turn-based battles with short Musou/Warriors-like encounters and you have Persona 5 Strikers.

Combat was a lot of fun and some battles, especially Dire Shadows, can require a surprising amount of thought that must go into them. This isn't the usual turn-your-brain-off Musou button masher.

Story was a tad lacking being what felt like the events of Persona 5 yet again (I feel as though the game even acknowledges it at times...) Although it did have its moments that genuinely intrigued me and new characters like Sophia and Zenkichi more than make up for it in my eyes. Love these goofs.

OMORI is art and I think describing it in any simpler manner would be doing it a disservice. Words alone can't describe my experience with this game, but I cried for about an hour during the final hours.

At least it's fun to play. That's it.

4th dungeon really made me hate this game

i hate this game i hate this game i hate this game i hate this game i hate this game i hate this game

I love everything about this game except actually playing it. Yet it's my favorite FE.

"love this game" says man who refuses to finish it

Borrowed from a friend as a joke. Took it home and started playing for fun. I finished in about 3 hours before my dinner was done cooking. Unintentionally, mind you. This was a purely casual playthrough.

Well I actually finished a Hoenn game.
