04

I'll stop logging the session count because it's getting ridiculous lol

* More Dondoko Island. It got me by the itchy balls. I spent 8-hours playing it straight. Almost 5 stars!

03

* Arrived at Tojo HQ. So much nostalgic memories. I feel bad for those that doesn't know lol.
* OMG KIRYU'S BATTLE THEME IN KAMUROCHO! BROOOOO!!!!

Session 12
* Still working on completing Bond LInks, Bond Bingo, Memoirs, and Bucket List (Will save a few IF we get the other 2 party members)
* Saeko/Nanba/Seonhee Drink Links and Bond Bingo done!
* TAICHI THE RIZZLER!
* The context for awakening Dragon's Resurgence is awesome
* Bro who is this evil V-tuber?! S/he's surveilling close to us the whole time!
* NOOOOOO!!!

Chapter 9
* Back to Hawaii. Surprised only 1 chapter for Kiryu.
* YAMAI HYPE!
* New chapter means spending time on Substories and Dodonko Island!

02

Session 11
Chapter 8

* Depression chapter
* I miss playing as Taichi Suzuki. Multiple playable protag is back! Love it!
* Appreciate they added focus to Seonhee this time around. She, Joon-gi Han, and Zhao are underutilized in Y:LAD. Also man, I miss Eri.
* The transition from dollar to yen is fucking me up
* Forgot to address this but what happened to Agent Style? Or at the very least, Daidoji martial arts?
* Doing Bond Bingo with everyone and I'm surprised at how charming Seonhee is. I love how much of a Kiryu fanboy she is.
* THEY FINALLY MET AND KIRYU IS ABOUT TO CRY AAAAHHHH! Karaoke scene was great.
* Spent all my time doing Bonds and Reminiscing. This chapter is great. So much callbacks and references. I wonder what newcomers will feel especially those that started here.

01

Session 10
*Story is picking up. The Wong Tou boss fight was amazing!

Chapter 7
* They're setting up the big villain of the game as this ruthless and violent person so I'm expecting SOME deaths. I'm thinking maybe one of our party members and Wong Tou/Dwight/Yamai. I wouldn't mind if none of them dies because they're fun characters but I'd be slightly disappointed ngl.
* Oh man is this where the dual protag kicks in? I'm excited!
* Nanba and Tomi in the same party is too much for my brain to handle!
* Love the vibe of the Theater Long Battle. Yamai is a Yakuza weeb and I love that detail lol. His fight was amazing as well. Glad we're getting multi-phase bosses mid-game. His support hostesses were hilarious
* Didn't expect for Yamai to be an ally of sorts. He's gonna die isn't he?
* Seeing this immovable wall of a protagonist that you've been following for 2 decades now crumble like this is breaking my heart. I am NOT ready for the future chapters. I wish he'll finally see his family by the end.
* Nanba and Tomi gonna separate after this? Man back-to-back tear-jerker moments with this game. So cruel!

Session 8
* When I was ready to move on with the story, they introduced The Labyrinth - some kind of procedurally-generated dungeon. This game man... It's way too addicting.
* Finished my first Labyrinth run and it's pretty fun. It might get old quick but the combat does the heavy lifting and keeps it fun. The rewards are good too. Good improvement from Y:LAD

Chapter 6
* Dondoko Island is here and I am not ready.
* I don't know who or what Mukku is but he's goddamn hilarious af

Session 9
* DONDOKO ISLAND ALL DAY BABY!

30

* I CAN CHANGE JOBS NOW! oh it only took... 29 hours of playtime lmao. Surprised I'm still enjoying the base jobs. A great testament to how fun the gameplay loop is.
* Revelations are back I'm so happy! Always been wanting it to be a staple and what's more, it fits Ichi to a T.
* btw that Alo-Happy mascot is cursed
- Sujimancer is kinda boring which is a shame. It's my most anticipated Job. I thought you can assign Sujimons and get unique attacks but nah it's set and the Sujimons are just for stats. No doubt it could be OP when Sujimons are maxed-out but a shame about the set skills.

Session 7
* Grinded some money to be able to unlock a bunch of skills. Skill Inheritance is awesome!
* Help. I can't progress the story because the gameplay loop got me by the Itchy Balls

29

* I unlocked the Sujimancer job... BUT I CAN'T SWITCH JOBS YET! AAAAAAHHHHH!!!
* Barracuda Long Battle was awesome. Hope that isn't the end for Dwight because he's been so hyped up through the marketing. Also goddamn Tomizawa was badass and Chitose a welcome addition to the group. She bounces well with everyone. Great chapter overall!

Chapter 5
* Roaming around leveling Chitose up, doing substories (They're all amazing btw. Usually there's a handful of "save someone from thug" types but so far there's only 1. The rest is unique), collecting Sujimons, and just vibing in Hawaii. This game is a masterpiece so far.

Session 6
++ First Drink Link with Tomizawa! Man, I love this dude. He's having the Higashi effect on me. I also love how deeper the conversations are, and the rewards are even better. Massive improvement all around.

28

* LMAO Roman changed voices when he starts speaking in English
* There it is. The BIG revelation of Kiryu's condition. ngl I wish the trailer didn't spoil that moment. It didn't hit me as hard right now. I guarantee I would've cried.

Chapter 4
* Crafting's back and seems waaay more grindy but we'll see. More importantly, they're teasing an Andre Richardson lore!
* Spent most of my time just roaming Hawaii. 17-ish hours in and I am still addicted to the basic gameplay loop

Session 5

* Sujimon Tournament! They went ham with the Pokemon references. This is amazing.
* Nancy-chan and Olivia substory brought me to tears. What a heartwarming substory.
* Gotta catch 'em all. That's all I'm gonna say.

27

Session 3

* Miss Match is surprisingly deep and fun. Wonder if Mr. Libido or Obatarian will appear at some point...
- Sawai substory is waaay too segmented. Kinda annoying going back to the same spot 4-5x.

Session 4

* Yamai is soooo goood.
* Tomizawa joins the party! I feel like he'll be my favorite based on his vibe.
* I find it funny that Kiryu is like trying hard to be anon but Ichi's like "Hey KIRYU-SAN wassup" all the time.
* Barracuda is wild. Usually Yakuza/LAD has this violent but kinda cheesy death scenes but not this one. It felt way too real. I'm a bit scared for our character. RGG is def the type to kill off a party member and the mocap actors are the biggest target.
* Sicko Snap is okay. I can see it getting boring after a few tries. Maybe if the 'Sickos' are more varied then it might spice up the mini-game
* Bro the Tony Lemonade substory goes places. Damn.
* Poundmates unlocked and Chitose Buster Holmes is AMAZING. Shame Kiryu has no reaction to Gary's sister(?)
* Crazy Taxi Delivery is super fun! Beats Can Quest by a mile. Charlie is also hilarious af
* I found Hangman...
++ btw I appreciate how fun exploring Hawaii is. There's a TON of collectibles just scattered around, a TON of friends you can make, enemies are fun to fight over and over thanks to the amazing combat and they're pretty varied too with Elite ones, various mini-games and point-based shops, and just random gifts you can get by exploring. Well utilized and just so damn good.
* Tomizawa backstory. Must protect him at all costs!

26

+ I like the slow-ness of the pace right now. We barely got to see the party interact on a deep level during story beats in Y:LAD. Their relationship is mostly shown through party chat and outside activities. I LOVE this slow burn. I can tell they're taking their time to develop the bonds.
+ btw it's not a surprise but voice acting is top notch. Especially Ichi's (Kazuhiro Nakaya). He really sold Ichi's nervousness during the date scene and his remorse during the consultation with Adachi/Nanba
* The drinking from the straw slays me lmao

* Hell yeah we back to homeless
* I like that V-tubers and YouTubers are the spawn of hades in the LAD universe
* Theory: the V-tuber Tatara Hisoka could potentially be Kume. He knows of Ichi and Aoki (the silhouette), seemingly has a grudge, and is possibly doing all of this in the sake of "justice" as he says in the finale of Y:LAD, also he's the type to do shit like this. Dunno where I read this but you can have smartphones in jail too right? In case he's not out yet. (I'm just coping I want Kume to get more than a "oh he got caught" and also having millions simping for FREAKING KUME is a funny thought)
* We back at the bottom baby. The only way is up!
* Funny how the moment Ichi went rock bottom is when he started his wild imagination thing.
* OMG THAT'S how he got his hair back?! I was for sure thinking the barber would mess it up again.

* Reached the sewers with a familiar OST. Let's see how improved the dungeons are. Arguably the worst part of Y:LAD for me.
+ Wow! The dungeon is so much better (this one at least). It wasn't too long, it's more than just a hallway simulator, and with the improved combat - just more fun to go through.
+ Elements are so useful. They barely do damage iirc in Y:LAD
+ Seiryu Invasion Electric Boogaloo well it's the same as Y:LAD but the banger OST and better combat made it extra fun. It's gonna be ultra tough going back to Y:LAD...
++ QTEs my beloved.... welcome back!
* I really gotta forget the old Yakuza ways of killing their characters. I was 100% sure Sasaki's dead in a box somewhere lol. I don't trust Ebina one bit so that might happen in the future but at least there's hope.
* Love Sawashiro in Y:LAD and I'm glad he's back. Continue this trend of known-actors being regulars pls RGG. So much wasted potential in past Yakuza games.

Session 2
Chapter 2

* Yo Young Arakawa is sick af!
* Theory: Okay so Akane has 3 other kids in hawaii. What are the chances that one of them is a villain and the other is either Tomizawa/Chitose? There's gotta be a huge reveal involving that. It could also be the wheelchair dude to tie in the brother connection with Masato
* Ichi uninstalled Sujidex so we have to catch 'em all again (Can't wait to find all 317 Sujimons)

* ALOHA HAWAII! Man it's gonna be jarring hearing English voice-over and dollar as a currency
* Love the Engrish so much
* Met Ibuchi DIO Yamai. Love his shtick of being cold in Hawaii. He's totally not a vampire.
* Why is Chitose suspiciously in Akane's home and her introduction doesn't contain a full name... my theory is slightly holding ground and also it's a different place iirc from Sawashiro's flashback.
* I saw Ichiban's Ichibuns
* Joryu Kiryu Suzuki joins the party! I am not ready
* So wild to see Andre Richardson again. Wonder if this is just a joke from the devs or does he have some significance? I really don't want it to diminish Mine's sacrifice.
* Met Kei. Apparently a popular Vtuber and Yakuza fan. I'm clearly missing out on the lore here but good for her.
* I fought an asshole
* Well, the map just opened up... it's the start of the time sink. Story will have to wait.
* Unlocked the "Street Surfer". I'll use it to unlock the Taxis

READ ONLY IF YOU'VE FINISHED THE GAME

Yakuza/Like a Dragon is my favorite franchise so expect a lot of notes.

Session 01
Chapter 01

* Just judging from the intro scene, the theme is probably gonna be the homeless again and how ex-Yakuza can integrate back into society maybe? Let's see
* Ichi's intro is very reminiscent of Majima's in Y0. Both have ponytail too. Man, so excited to be back!
* I need an Ichi in my life, seriously.
* Opening movie is cool. I notice the stark contrast with Joryu's in Gaiden.
* Welp, Kume won't appear soon or is 3-years enough jail time for him?
* WTF ICHI DON'T PUT NANCY-CHAN IN THE STOVETOP!
* Recently replayed Y:LAD so I noticed how Hamako has a different VA I think
* I'm proud of Sasaki
* ADACHI MY BELOVED!
* Rubber arm gets introduced... oh boy what shenanigans are they gonna do with the story now?
* Feels like this will be an ultra loooong first chapter. I don't mind it though. That's the advantage of a sequel. Everybody's gonna be re-introduced and it's always gonna be intriguing the first time.

+ You don't have to interact with the taxi to unlock it. Also you can ride a taxi via the map. What a great QoL improvement
- No more skill shortcuts which is a shame. It's early so we'll see but I love how it makes selecting skill snappy in Y:LAD
* LET MY MAN KASHIWAGI TALK!!!!
* Confession scene is amazing. God I love these characters so much.
* Learning how to date with Adachi and Nanba. It's going great Can't wait for the disaster.
* Visited Ichiban Confections and seems like Ichi quit after helping Eri. At least there's dialog for closure. Also got an egg from Omelette. Thanks Omelette.
* Obligatory visit to the Arcades and holy shit Spike Out is super fun. Reminds me of Crisis Beat a bit.

Started

* Menolias beaten 2nd try! What a boss fight holy shit. He's such a cool archer and fighter. The counters and well his entire moveset is comparable to our own and that's a nice touch showing that we used to be from the same league. The fights against the immortals are gonna be my favorites I'm pretty sure. Can't wait for the rest.
* The Depths part 2 Explored everything. Still missing some coins but whatever not a priority for me
-- THAT FUCKING SAWBLADE PLATFORMER PUZZLE IN THE LOWER CITY MADE ME CRY OUT OF FRUSTRATION AND THE REWARD WAS A FUCKING PALETTE SWAP SKIN?! NO JOKE TOOK ABOUT 20+ TRIES AAAAAH i HATE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* Raging Sea has got to be the most visually amazing areas in the game. 18-hours in and I'm still in awe with the presentation of the game. Ubisoft, you win for once. I'm definitely buying this in the future once I'm raring for a replay.
* Orod beaten first try! He's a bit disappointing in the difficulty side because his attacks are easy to read. Also didn't feel much of a connection unlike Menolias. Everything else though? Pretty good. The environment, his different forms, and Bahamut's Rage.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is about to come out so I'm putting this game to the backlog. Can't wait to return!

24

* I may have found the most annoying enemy in this game. Those bomber dudes in the Sunken Harbor. Unreachable, spams those bombs, then once you reach him - I always get jumpscared by the unblockable grabs. HATE HIM SO MUCH
* The captain's bird side quest was fun. It's annoying when you accidentally press down + dash tho.
* Broke the seal finally. So far, still having fun which is a surprise given how I tend to get tired of the gameplay loop of metroidvanias by hour 15.
* Eternal Sands traversal gimmick is pretty fun. Makes sense given that this game's by the Rayman Legends devs. They sure know how to make an awesome platformer experience.
* Dark Sargon Round 3 Well, nothing much to say. I got how his AI works by now and I parried tf out of him. ngl the time stop parry amulet made this easier.
* Azhdaha beaten first try! That new athra surge is super OP
* DOUBLE JUMP this late in the game?! Don't mind if I do
* God I hate the platformer sections in the Eternal Sands not because it's bad but I suck and it's not fun going through the same section 20x
* Got some progress. Double jump is the key to everything.
Session #5
Death Count: 11

* Found a village full of weird scary and crazy cult people. It's the most stressful I've been because it's too creepy.
* Fought a witch and it's the easiest fight ever thank God. If those roaming enemies were aggressive then I'd probably just quit.

23

* Re-explored about 50% of the map and got a bunch of collectibles/amulets/slots
* Jailer beaten. Love the dimension gimmick.

22

Session #4
Death Count: 11

* Blood-starved Beast. Yeah it's not a difficult fight because he's easy to parry but ngl I'm starting to lose steam

Deaths
1 - Blood-starved Beast. First encounter I didn't know the attacks and such. Died to Poison.
* Goodbye Catacombs. It was short but the gimmick was fun. Hello Sunken Depths
* Did NOT expect a fucking MIMIC in a game that's not JRPG lmao. That was unexpected
* Made a ton of progress with Sunken Depths.
* That forest boss fight was hard and awesome
* New ability and it has charm effect?! Hell yeah!
* Getting the 2nd Time Power and the trials are pretty cool except that one on the upper left. The timing is just super tight. I kinda hate it because it takes so much precision it ends up being annoying rather than fun by 5th try.
* Wonder if the entire Immortals came from this place? Seems like at least Vahram and Sargon has a connection here. I'm invested in the characters. They can make Vahram compelling depending on what they do here.

21

Session #3
Death Count: 10

* Old Yharnam is pretty hard and complex area but fun. I spent the entire 2-3 hour session just exploring it. So many shortcuts and enemies. Can't forget the usual FromSoft enemy that snipes you from afar (with a gatling gun in this case)

Deaths
1x - Gatling Hunter dude. He pushed me off the ledge. Well, I pushed him back and he died instantly. I call that Karmic justice.
1x - Got gangbanged by 10+ running monsters. The screamers attracted them.
* Getting through the demo section. Again, bit weird not having the air dash skill. Hope I get it soon. It's the most fun part of the demo.
* Poison swamp section is really good. It really does feel like a dangerous section.

+ Finished tutorials. The basics are surprisingly complex. Also appreciate being rewarded after completing it all.

+ Got the Bow and Chakram. Parrying with the Chakram has got to be my favorite thing ever in this game. Holy that surprised me so much

* Finally, air dash. So fun and again, adds even more complexity to the combat.

* Got the bullet witch time amulet. Some of these like the parry heals are waaay too broken. (I like it)
* Fought Dark Sargon. Damn feels like actually fighting myself. Love the use of combos and how you have to think about your own weakness to beat him.
* Fought Vahram and goddamn the OST goes super hard! I noticed some Ishin and fucking Naruto choreography in the cutscenes lol. This game is amazing.
* btw saw the betrayal and the eventual fight with the Immortals from a mile away. I love this trope because you're familiar with who you're fighting against.
* Swamp area can suck my nuts. I can't imagine any game outside of maybe FromSoft ones that makes poison actually... feel like poison. I'm on the verge of death throughout that.
* Dark Sargon Round 2 well he wasn't too different. Makes sense but still, pretty cool mirror fight. I like how he's as susceptible to juggles like we do.
* NEW TRAVERSAL SKILL! Oh baby you're telling me traversal can still get even more fun?!
* Neith is a real one (She will probably die)
* Goodbye swamps. See you never. Hello Catacombs and Kalux's text-to-speech voice actor lmao

20

* Cleric Beast beaten first try! Wasn't too hard maybe because there's a 20 max limit for heals/bullets and the parry window is pretty generous.
* Father Gascogne? (forgot spelling) beaten first try! It was a close shave tho because I can't get the timing on the second form. Luckily I have full heals and got lucky with the parries. Damn this game is fun and not too stressful!

Session #2
Death Count: 8

* Those tall, lanky masked dude with a cane are terrifying af!
* Vicar Amelia beaten! Cool fight. Got close once but grab insta-killed me at full health. Finally able to beat her with a summoned NPC and a more aggressive approach to combat. This is SO different to souls-like. I gotta attack more and less dodging. Amazing fight overall! (Also TIL my current build is probably trash)
* I was WAITING for night time! Looks sick af!

Deaths
1x - Giant dude with the tree stump. First encounter so I didn't know the attacks
2x - That hunter fight with the other female hunter (crow I think?)
5x - Vicar Amelia. She's slow but tough to read because her long hair has so much aliasing it's super blurry on my screen. Hated that experience ngl. Needed the help of a summon to even get her down to phase 2.

Started

Tried out via Switch emulator and it runs fine on my potato PC. This'll be a super slow playthrough that I'll only do whenever I'm not in the mood for the current big game I'm playing.

* Accessibility is great and the custom difficulty is nice.
* Got through the first section. A bit disorienting coming from the demo where some traversal skills are unlocked.

Started

Started

* I've decided to start and maybe finish Bloodborne in 2024. It will be a slow playthrough because I've got a TON of big games on my priority list but... I've waited long enough for that remaster to come out.
* 90% Blind because I played back when it was available via PS+ up until the 2nd boss fight (iirc it's a human boss) then I didn't proceed (I suck at this game)

Session #1
Death Count: 0

* Not too bad so far. I cleared out all the enemies in the plaza by picking them out one-by-one. NGL the absence of blocking is scary. Parrying rules tho.
- No 60 fps and the absurd amount of aliasing are attacking my eyes. WHERE'S THE REMASTER SONY?!
+ Man the interconnected paths are so cool. Also the aesthetics of the game is amazing

Finished

* Currently just waiting for my main game (Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth) to come out so I decided to get the Platinum Trophy for Spirit Hunter NG!

Normal Ending
* Damn RIP Rose. That was brutal and a bit gut-wrenching. Wish she had more screen time tho to maximize the effect.
* Man it's good to hear the final boss OST again. Shit has no reason to go hard.
* Got the Normal Ending! It's super quick with a guide wtf. Also damn, the death scenes are so brutal. Hazuki's morphed body was hilarious tho

Bad Ending
* Urashima Woman destroyed. Jesus that was sad af. Also RIP Hazuki. That's payback for the Normal Ending.
----- btw... THE FUCKING FINAL SEQUENCE WHERE KAKUYA TRIES TO BREAK YOU BY SHOWING YOU A GENJUTSU OF YOUR FRIENDS' DEATH SPOILED THE DEATH SCENES IN THE BAD ENDING! THAT SUCKS
* ngl on replay it's more hilarious than scary like the pregnant Urashima Woman hauling ass chasing you underwater etc. What a different but fun experience.
* Kubitarou of Kintoki DESTROYED by a train.
* Amanome ded. I picked Hazuki as a partner on my blind playthrough then reloaded an old save for the normal ending so Amanome got the short end of the stick
* Screaming Author DESTROYED. Again a reminder of why this game is great despite its many flaws.
* Damn Rose gets the worst deaths in this game.
* Ban just got fillet-ed holy shit that was brutal. The deaths in this game are amazing.
* Kakuya SEALED. Well, it's a bit different at least. Let's see this bad ending.
* YOOO IT'S HIM (I forgot his name lmao) but wait, if this is connecting to Death Mark or the sequel... then this is the canon ending? That's fucking sad if so because everybody died except for Ooe

Started / Finished

17

* Almost forgot to get Youpi (Yuffie) lmao
* Fort Condor sucks. I'm glad it got turned into this fun board game in Intermission
* Grinding everyone's LB to level 2 at least.
- loved the random mini-games during my first playthrough but on replay, it's rough. CPR is unnecessary and weird, Mr. Dolphin is reliant on guessing the right position and involves zero skill, the Junon march is ok tho a bit confusing because the controls just say [OK] [Menu] etc instead of the buttons

15

Time to pick the pace and play the section where I presume Rebirth will cover. Some cool new mods were added like a VOICEOVER HOLY SHIT let's go!

* World Map is so cool. Can't wait for Rebirth!

* Kalm: Flashback sequence done

* Chocobo Bill's Ranch: I got Choco/Mog summon. Successfully avoided the Midgar Zolom

* Mythril Mines: Met the Turks. Elena hype! Grinding Aerith's Limit Breaks atm

14

Run #4 - Died to Hades. A couple of runs and improvements might give me a chance. Temple of Styx is too hard for me. The poison is annoying af.

Run #6 - Finally beat Hades! Can't wait to get the gauntlets. That's my main in my first playthrough.

Run #8 - Fists Heat lvl2 run. Easiest run of my life.

Run #11 - Heat lvl10 run. Slowly losing steam ngl. I already had my fill of the gameplay loop so I might continue at a later time.

13

Started

* Played and got to the credits but dipped after w/o finishing the other stuff like gifts and Heat lvl 15-ish. I'll go for another round while waiting for Infinite Wealth.

Run #1 - Beat Meg but died on the Bone Hydra. Knowing how every enemy attacks helped me a ton but It's hard without the passives, free revives and limited boons.

Run #2 - Got further and died to Theseus/Minotaur duo. Starting to remember how bs that fight was.

Run #3 - Died trying to get Cerberus' snacks. My build isn't suited to the tight level of that area.

Started

12

Finished

* NG+ Plasma Only and Secret Ending run is done! I tried to get Wishbone trophy but I can't. Oh well. Next time on Impossible difficulty run.

Finished

11

Finished

* Got to the fire sacrifice thing. Bro Kratos' redemption in Valhalla was such a good payoff for this scene.
* Pandora's Box done. Kinda hate how there's no clear indication where to go sometimes not because I get lost but I missed out on some optional paths because I accidentally went the right one (The one with giant flaming rocks).
* Armored Minotaur boss was sick af
* Damn Kratos' backstory is tragic and amazing
* Got to hell. Damn this game is longer than I thought
* Ares beaten. What a game. Kratos is pretty layered, which surprised me. When God of War (2018) came out, one of the biggest takeaway from most people was "Kratos has a deep character now. He's not just angry man" and that stuck I guess. I didn't remember or expect the layers he had in this game alone. Can't wait to play the rest!

Best

Character: Kratos/Boat Captain. One is deeply layered and well-written, the other is funny af.

Weapon: Blades of Chaos. Iconic and was fun from start to finish.

Ability: Poseidon's Rage/Army of Hades. Both helped me out so much in many situations. Also AOE rules.

Enemy: Cerberus. Been a fan of Cerberus in any greek myth games. Its not hard but I like fighting it.

Boss Fight: Armored Minotaur. While it took a while to figure out there's stairs at the back, it was everything a God of War boss needs to be. Awesome spectacle, puzzle elements, and a gruesome finish. Great all around.

Moment: Gameplay-wise the intro with the Hydra. Story-wise it's Kratos' past being revealed and his grief/suffering through it.

Worst

Character: None. They're all great or at least serviceable. If I have to pick one, maybe that lady who runs from you and fell the balcony.

Weapon: Well there's only 2 so I guess the Blade of Artemis (It's fun at the start tho)

Ability: Medusa's Gaze. Barely used it and when I do use it, enemies just doesn't stay frozen for long. Killing them is faster.

Enemy: Gold-armored undead soldiers. Not difficult since their attacks are easily telegraphed but waaay too aggressive and annoying. Not fun to fight.

Boss Fight: Medusa. Just unmemorable.

Moment: That one section in the intro where you have to push a box while a legion of archers rain arrows down on you. Took me 30 minutes to get through. NOT FUN AT ALL.

* Saved the Oracle
