the magic is gone and the soul is dead

This game is so much better than people who probably haven't played it will tell you. It's definitely got some style changes from the first three, and honestly, why not? Everyone hates the subway escort mission, it sucks, fuck that part of the game, but it's so worth getting past that section. Especially once you figure out how to ditch Eileen in a safe space for a minute while you go do the dangerous stuff.

god. I do not know how i feel about this game. it's a pretty good metroidvania. there's a lot of glitches. like the game is sort of finished but incredibly unpolished. there's a trade quest that dunks on toby fox for making pacifism an option in undertale? like... for no reason?

the main villain's design is clearly based on marilyn manson (an abusive piece of shit!), which must have influenced the games empty shock value, and the creation of oppression (people making softer games?) to rebel against.

it was kinda cringe but i couldnt put it down. ugh.

the only crime i witnessed was still charging $40 for this game after being out for 8 years

after a while i just didnt care enough to keep doing another variation of the same thing

Underneath all the constant fucking and sucking, there's a SURPRISINGLY GOOD metroidvania in here. Lots of quests, lots of upgrades, lots of key items, lots of equipment. Absolutely worth $15 even if you don't want anyone to know you played it.

After Gal Guardians, I was hoping Inti Creates would make a true metroidvania, and Yohane fucking DELIVERS. about 11 different abilities that are unlocked between boss fights and chests scattered around. Not very difficult but like, maybe every game doesn't have to be tbh

GOTFY CRYING IS HEALTHY

Really fun movement and general vibe, but super short. $7 honestly feels kinda steep for a one hour collect-a-thon style game with 20 collectibles spread over 4 levels, and one repetitive boss fight. It said there were secrets left after I beat it but I honestly didn't care enough to find them.

I don't want to give anything away but this is a must play for survival horror fans

I'm on a big ghostbusters kick and this was pretty nice!

I don't know why people faithfully remaster games that don't hold up. This thing handles like the Ever Given.

Calling this game inspired by Hollow Knight would be beyond generous, but it does such a good job, I don't really care?

I bought this because it was on sale and had the metroidvania tag. I played for 23 minutes and got a refund. I can't believe they'd sell this for $20.

The game play is extremely boring, way too much dialog, constant graphical glitches. Don't bother. I'm still mad.

This game is incredible. Wish it was a bit longer.

Played through it in 2-3 hours, and loved every second of it. A very gentle metroidvania that will constantly make you ask "woah, what?"
