a passable digital version of one of my all-time favorite card games that is made worth it by being playable on mobile.

Kinda disapointing dlc, nothing really happened here. Dregde hit the same iceberg (hehe..) as it did with the main game; they just don't know how to finnish a story.
The first half of the dlc shows so much potential, and then, at the tension's peak, everything falters, you're done with the dlc. That's it, nothing more to see, catch the rest of the fish and get all achievements.
I have to say that I do enjoy the aesthetic and the completion of the achievements, so I didn't have a bad time, but there is SO much wasted potential.

Talking flowers, really?

This series has been around for god knows how long and the kids who grew up with the original game on the NES are old enough now to collect social security. So why does the series continue to go for the kiddie audience instead of appealing to his actual fans, the adults? Think of how awesome a Mario game where he swears and uses mushrooms like drugs would be. Such a shame that the lazy devs don’t understand what the real fans want.

you think that if otacon was just dicking around invisible somebody would notice every room smelled like fucking piss all the time

I like to call it "Mince Raft" now

Now goodbye forever mwahahahaha

There's a great sense of cheapness about the whole thing that seems to come from a lack of internal cohesion: there's something heterogeneous about the animations, the different art assets, the awkwardly translated item descriptions and the Crunchyroll dub voice-acting. Everything feels cobbled together, and this feeling's heightened by the way it appropriates so many aspects of Bloodborne without much consideration for the overall effect that game achieves with them.

There's something sympathetic about any piece of media whose goal is to be just as good as another, driven by a kind of scrappy acquisitiveness that insists it needs neither talent nor originality to succeed. However they de-Italianized Pinocchio which is unforgivable.

I love 2 player games which feature a difficulty curve, and when I saw the trailer for this game i thought i'd love it. And I did, for a while. The characters are amazing, laughing and making jokes about your ability to climb, everyone completely crazy (Edgar has to be the most memorable npc I met in the game). The visuals are crisp and match the game very well and the idea of the mechanics are actually pretty cool.
But then I realised all the problems this game still has; the inconsistencies, the lag, the randomness in your swing, not always working as an anchor (and sometimes working on ice?), the problems with Jeff's mechanics, the problem with anchoring on moving platforms, etc. And most of this would have been forgiven in any other game, but this is a rage game, a climb where you can fall, far, far down if you make a mistake, or if the game just gives up on you, though luck. Games like these should never have inconsistencies in their mechanics, it's not acceptable, if you fall it should always be your own fault. That is the sole reason I had a bad time with this game, its mechanics are not finished and unpolished.
After reaching about 280 meters in multiplayer mode, with no previous problems, we got constant lagging and delay up to three seconds, and couldn't continue our climb. That's when I started my single player climb (which I just finnished) and experienced most of the game’s inconsistencies.
And yes, I know that this game was originally a couch co-op and that the couch co-op probably doesn’t have as many problems as single player and online multiplayer has. I think I am going to replay this game at some point, when all bugs have been fixed, and mechanics polished, and I think I’m going to enjoy it, but right now these are my thoughts.

Limbo

2010

Cool visuals and atmosphere. I liked the inclusion of the secrets, they made me be on the lookout throughout the game and gave me satisfaction when I found them. But that's it.
Some of the puzzles were interesting, but the rest was either too tedious, too easy, or too cryptic to be enjoyable. The story potential was there, just not utilized at all in my opinion, and the ending was dissatisfying.
These "feeling comes first, gameplay comes second" kind of games are not my really my style, I knew that coming in to Limbo and it has been reinforced going out.

This gets 5 in a row. And also you can quack at people, and there's no levels. And also there's two player. The funniest thing was quack and steal things from people and put them in my BANK which is in my home, which is a big grassy hole. And also I love a glass of milk after I have cookies or like HEY NOT THAT PART, DADDY DON'T DON'T WRIIITEEE

You're a cute little robot! You got to pick up your plug and plug IN. And it's so cute and adorable nyeh nyeh nyeh nyehhhhhh. And a cute girl who dresses like a frog and she just says "ribbit" like how I like to be a CAT, and I just say "meow meow meow meow". That's all.
