This is an unfair score. The game is FINE. More than serviceable. It’s just, when compared to XCOM 2, it falls flat. It feels like a fan-made mod, and I guess it’s a prototype, but while the systems are fine, it takes sooo much away from the atmosphere.

It’s a borderlands game but plays worse than any other: gunfeel and movement feels terrible.

I’ve played through half of this game twice over: Once with friends, once by myself. It’s just not fun, the combat is not satisfying, the crafting is tacked on. If you wanna play this, play on a lower difficulty where you can just blast the enemies that keep spawning out of nowhere. The story is also incredibly generic, so I saw no reason to push through.
