possibly the most "all cops are bastards" game ever made

Like with any years' sports game titles, I'm not really "finished" with NFS Unbound and will keep playing it whenever I feel like racing, but I've played enough of it now to throw it in the ol' Backloggd.

I absolutely love it! Like with any yearly iteration of a sports game, I knew I would like this going into it; it's racing, it's got dress-up dolls, I like the general vibe of it.

I don't have incredibly complicated thoughts except for that it's fun to dress up your character and car(s) and drive around and race and just have a blast. What more can someone ask for from a racing game? Any racing game that has a customizable dress-up doll racer is gonna be leagues ahead of the others in my book.

I love this game!

I love me a janky game with a lot of great ideas that it's reaching really hard to achieve in ways that more polished games just don't. Kane & Lynch was probably a lot less interesting at its time. I've really only known it all these years as the game whose review started the saga of Jeff Gerstmann's firing from Gamespot and subsequential launch of Giant Bomb. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men has some of the worst gunplay I've ever encountered, but it's also head and shoulders above its peers in so many of the other details.

this happened to all Brazilians from 2018 to 2022

Play as a blackmailed taxi driver trying to learn the identity of a serial killer in a noir styled visual novel. The mystery of the killer and the mechanics of identifying them are the least interesting elements of the game. The real game is the archetypes of modern life (or unlife), culture, love, politics, existentialism, etc you meet in the back of your cab. Lear their stories, your own, attempting to help them in the moment by being someone to listen to them or just by making a connection.

I feel like I very much over hyped this game on my part and felt disapointed when it didn't live up to the original trilogy in my eyes, but I enjoyed it for the most part.

Its very obvious that his was Toys For Bob's first time developing a Crash game,a lot of the levels felt way too long and the other character's levels forcing you to replay sometimes more than half of a crash/coco level annoys me. But character and enviromental design wise, I think this is the best the characters and worlds have ever looked in a Crash game, its incredible.

I just wish TFB got another chance to make a Crash game, I feel like a Crash 5 developed by them could have out done this easily, but Activision sent them to the Call Of Duty development dungeon so thats not happening.

doom: strategically placing enemies so the player has a feel for the level design and can improve as they learn the area

project warlock: na lets just throw a bunch of em lmao thats what made these games good, right

The visuals are absolutely stunning. You don't see a game with such a striking, visual style that is so well put together every day.
The dream-pop soundtrack is pretty decent. Most of the time it sounds like a version of grimes that is way less uncomfortable to listen to.

The game has a very short runtime and can get somewhat repetitive at some points.
Most of the time the controls are janky and therefore don't justify the sometimes awkwardly placed obstacles.
The game does not do a very good job at matching the quick time events with the music.
The story of the game made little to no sense to me, but I reckon that this is not the main part of the game.

But my biggest complaint about Wild Hearts is the fact that after each level, you get sent back to the level selection. It would have been a much better idea to just let the levels run through, especially because of its core concept of the pop album that accompanies the game, which is constantly interrupted this way...

I wouldn't recommend buying this game. Instead, watch a playthrough to experience the music as well as the visuals. The gameplay is not that important.
