Not only did my mother not fuck with this, neither did I

(before I play the series)
I always knew I was going to get into the Yakuza series, but shyed myself away from it for some reason. I would dodge any spoilers of the franchise to save myself for the future.
That changed recently whilst watching a LAD Infinite Wealth clip where Ichiban is randomly just running along the beach, some motherfucker drops from a tree on accident, and immediately engages in a battle with him. The fact that the game took that as "On sight" element and put you straight into TB made me want to play the whole series ASAP

it's a shit show, but I, myself, only play it for ARAM. Unless friends want me to play SR then that's okay. I am the support Andy of our group

Bless the HD rereleased version for having great online capabilities and executing on it. It really feels like the best version of a fanmade game, but being officially made. It just feels like the game has an actual soul, even having just the manga and OVA a few years prior to this game. Great voice work, wonderful sprites, and just a phenomenal game overall.

But fuck the people who just spam Hol Horse, be original

Kind of a weird, but different approach to arena-fighters. Competitive wise, this game shouldn't even be considered, let alone All Star Battle. It definitely scratches the Jojo itch, but only for like 2 to 4 weeks, would also call it a honeymoon game. Despite that, the campaign was unique and integrated manga only (at the time) characters, and even gave them dependent voice actors and colorings (based off of Araki). I do think that if another Jojo game came out that wasn't a remaster 2.5 fighter and an Japan only arcade game, that it would be a hit. Last potential was maining the Jojos in Jump Force, but we don't talk about JF here

Just an beautiful game. I had the pleasure of playing this whilst I babysat my brother kitten, and straight up binged this game. Kind of rare for me to just complete the game, and go to Youtube JUST to REWATCH the entire story I just played through, in essentially one shot. Speaking of one shot, the usage of camerawork is just impressive; out of this world. Implementing this consistent camera angle of non-changing scenes is just so impressive. The amount of effort put into this game not only by Santa Monica studio, but the narrative designer/ script writer, the in-body actors for EVERYONE, their voicework, just simply everything. It deserves the praise, as I made a Playstation account JUST to play this game. (then later down the line for Jojo's Eyes Of Heaven)

This shit slaps, but the only song I remember is Rihanna's Pon De Replay. As a kid, I would straight play that on repeat.

This is one of the few games I have seen everything about, but not once played myself. I mean seen everything; all the paths, the entirety of its fucking amazing OST. Nothing can top the Bergentruckung intro into Asgore song, actually the best track in the whole OST. Flat bangers throughout it all. I'm definitely counting this as completed by the sheer amount of content of I have consumed around Undertale

Was actually fun
Put this in perspective, I was playing this through a jailbreaked Kindle tablet

Even kid me had good taste. On that one underwater level with the swordfish, I would straight up leave my GBA on a surface, facing upwards and just have it play that blessed music. Although it was boofed through the speakers, that ambience was smacking.

Oh and I liked purposely loosing Diddy just to get him in a barrel later in the level. Idk why I was just challenging myself like that when I was younger, but who knows. Never was able to commit to getting all the letterings too.

Absolute banger emulation for the 360. Perfect implementation of the modern stick controls to this N64 game. This is the perfect platformer with just amazing music and interesting maps, definitely recommend hopping into this

As a kid, I just couldn't understand how to play. But oh my God is the collecting items sound effect stuck to me after all this time. Just the pure arsene sound coming from the GBA'S lil speaker just stuck to me

I can still feel the static of the screen when I was mad close to the screen, looking around for bones. I remember distinctly the purple ish castle with Shaggy, and maybe (idk if im tweaking) driving the Mystery Van. Also the random door part with Scoob, but thats it. It was fun enough to remember it!

When I wasn't conscious enough to rate and enjoy games, plug and plays was where it's at! This was mediocre, though
