Played it, got all endings, beat it, didn't like it.

It is a unique idea and I appreciate that but it just mostly felt like it believed itself to be more quirky than it actually is and I just...didn't really enjoy it all that much. Pretty overrated for the most part.

Ah, Tron Bonne, my beloved

Now that's out of the way, with this the I played the...sadly final game in this sub-series so far.

It's pretty good, at first the tutorial and the action part with the bank hooked me up in as I expected an adventure as long as the main Legends game....that didn't exactly happen and there were definitely times where I got bored (I just used a walkthrough for the puzzles after a while and used a map to accompany me in the digging missions).

It's a spin-off so I get why it is this way. It was surprisingly shorter than I expected but I had fun. I picked #17 as my favorite Servbot, since he had good stats, barely a sloth and managed to get all his stats up and made him discover his talent of "Grenade". Don't regret that decision

And the way the game ended oof...lol.

Having first seen Tron in MVC and not seeing anything similar in MML1 or 2, I wondered if this was the game to inspire her moves and Gustaff there...it was not but I see where "Lunch Time" came from and that's pretty cool lol

Attack minigame isn't so good...but I did the Speed minigame well for many Servbots.

Overall, I don't have much to say. It's a good spin-off and the best girl of the series gets some much deserves screentime.

I'm surprised they bothered to dub Bon this time, something that didn't happen in either Legends games...strange.
Nice to see what Glyde and has birds I so love were up to before MML2...wonder how he broke out?

Denise is definitely a cutie...holy shit she can slam that huge mecha to the ground! Wish she atleast made a cameo in MML2 but apperantly she's in that mobile game...I should watch the fan dub playthrough of that one sometime...and I'm not talking about X Dive

Uncle Digg twist was interesting...I honestly expected it to go the "I was a villain impersonating the guy all along!" route but the ending we got was nice too....Roxanne sure is a bae.

....and so is Perl! Dantz on the other hand needs to stop running face first into traps....I don't have much to say about the other characters. It's also so cool seeing Servbots taking on big ass Reaverbots under Tron Bonne's guidance! This game was a wonderful shine on these characters after seeing them lose in MML all the time for sure.

Also I did not expect them to touch upon their parents...there's even an unused item that possibly revealed it.

Among the cut items, there's Tron's Diary...wonder what it would do?

Fun fact, according to one cut item, Tron's Panties, she wears pink panties.
Only thing rivaling this information is if the Jet Set Radio Future dick size sheet leaked.

Recently the Japan exclusive demo of MML2, the demo that was packaged in with the Japanese version of Tron Bonne, which features a unique scenario, finally got an English fan translation hack! It was available to watch with English subs on YT for a while now but it's finally playable too!

And we also got a hack that adds the FPS fix for the otherwise dreadful underwater levels, and as I like to call "better economy" of the Japan only PSP port of MML2 over to the localized PS1 version!

Go play 'em! Never been a better time to be a MML fan...I just wish they came out when before I started MML2 lol

This was a great fucking game. I love what they did by taking the gameplay of Postal 2 and building off something entirely new with it. The sheer amount of creativity and fun in this game is great and the way levels come together is wonderful. I love the creativity with the jokes and references. Usually when most things do current day stuff it fucking sucks cuz they either don't understand the memes, it reads like a twitter rant or it's just not funny since they think simply mentioning the thing equals funny...or it's just plain unfunny. Postal actually makes it fucking funny and understands what the fuck it's talking about and that alone is great. Without going into spoilers, killing Ronnie was pretty fun, that's all I'll say. I love how creative they got with all the weapons by the way and I love the crunchy ass style. The Shotgun hookshot segments (easily my most used gun, in majority of FPSes really) reminded me of BioShock Infinite lol...how come more FPSes don't do things like this? Or maybe I don't play enough creative FPSes I dunno...say FPSes three times fast.

When this game first came out I didn't think much of it, I saw a few screenshots and I was like...oh no...is it just Apocalypse Weekend in HD? Like Postal 4 seems to be just 2 in HD (I haven't played 4 yet but I didn't hear great things about it, I intend to play and judge it for myself eventually but for now, yeah). But hooo boy was I wrong. This game is great and I had quite a blast (hehe)

Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes Postal and FPSes...might kick the ass of those not as skilled with these though.

I played and beat on Easy that being said (tho I attempted Normal in very early game), yet the game still felt challenging yet fair. It doesn't hold my hand and if I fuck something up it feels like my fault. I love what they did with the pissing too.

So where to begin with this, I love this game as much as the original and I had a lot of fun with it. To visit this world and it's wonderful characters once again was a joy

That being said, some aspects were better in MML1, while some are better here...controls are improved for the better, tho it didn't make much difference to me cuz I used a KBM setup and still used that turn around style of the first game since it was more comfy on a keyboard....also not playing on a controller def made the game more comfortable and fun for me this time whew. Auto aim is ass tho but it's kinda unreliable to play without it...it definitely was an ass through the whole game lol.

First of all, I really don't like the darker more serious tone and them trying to introduce all this deeper lore...it's not unwelcome, as the first game ended on a note like this, teasing more to come...but I just prefer the brighter saturday morning cartoon vibe of the first game. All those cozy scenes that took inside Bonnes' ship come to mind...also anyone else find it weird that Bon (BABUU) doesn't even make a physical appearance until midway through the game?

Voice acting, like with the first game is phenomenal. It never fails to make me smile. I say they did a pretty good job with it.

I have seen some examples on why it might not be that accurate though...maybe one day someone will port over the PS1 Dubs to the PSP ports but also make retranslation of the subs since that version has those? Don't get me wrong, I love the dub and it's translation is pretty good...it's no Dreamcast to 06 era of Sonic translations/dubs, that's for sure...

I decked out Mega Man pretty good this time around, I guess experience of the first game and knowing what to expect paid off. Final Boss killed me like 3 times but going back and maxing the Missile's Rapid Fire and Attack helped me out big time, growing my energy canteen and using it sparringly (ever time health went about half, less than half down so it doesnt consume much) helped big time...also using those quiz items, tho I only ended up using one in the last attempt.

All the dungeons I played are pretty good. I hated how stunlocky the game was but thankfully you can get rid of it with a better helmet (still shitty it's a thing in the first place though). I played on Normal and B license though, I didnt go through those extra digs on higher licenses cuz frankly I really don't wanna make this game harder for me lmao.

Ending wasn't as bad as say...Half-Life 2 Episode 2 but yeahhhh cliffhanger...24 years now...pretty damn dissatisfying.

I also fully repaired the Flutter, got all the gifts for it and for Roll, (which means the bathroom scene, making Volnutt see 2 girls naked through this playthrough hehe)

What else...oh yeah fuck Nino dungeon and it's shitty ass underwater slowdowns.

An ideal MML would be the tone of the first game with the gameplay style of this...maybe someday someone will mod the gameplay of MML1 to be like that if not better?

Either way that's that...but luckily I don't have to end the series on this note cuz I haven't played Misadventures of Tron Bonne yet, best girl for the last! Tho definitely not soon lol

Hmm what else...I made sure to not play with any Widescreen hacks this time, so no 2D screens stretched and no weird popins.

IGT was 15 Hours 51 Minutes and 29 Seconds but Emulator time 22 Hours 6 Minutes 33 Seconds...definitely some idle time there hehe

Good game, lost some interest in the ancient lore and stuff (tho I love their designs) and shoutouts to that blue hair killer leather red dress girl in Yosyonke near the grave, she a baddie

Hoo boy....second game in my Hulk marathon and my god...okay tbh it's not a bad game at all..and in it's core it is a good game, there's a lot of good things in it and a lot of good ideas and playing as the Hulk feels fun for the most part....but there are two BIG things that really bring this game down....No matter what upgrade you get, you are RIDICULOUSLY weak to bullets and rockets and those are things you will be facing a lot in this game...So much for being the Hulk...and the other thing being is that the mission design sucks ass.

First of all...I understand that gameplay-wise things can only be so canon-compliant...especially if it's based on a comic book...but my god Hulk shouldn't be this weak and this isn't just a lore complaint, you can be thrown around and fucked over so easily that it's insane...and the game just throws soooo many shit at you, there's so much flying around that I'm surprised that this thing didn't melt consoles back in the day...I guess it's really optimized. Back to the enemies, you can easily get stunlocked by those Hulkbuster bastards too...Hulk 2003 had the exact same problem and it really sucks the developers haven't learned a thing from it...

Speaking of developers...Radical Entertainment's idea of mission design seems to be either fetch this, deliver that or destroy this...and it gets old reeeeal quick....Simpsons Hit and Run has the same problem and that's a game I find really overrated. I'm the goddamn Hulk, not a delivery boy....Yes, Hulk is a simple character...mostly...on surface...and Banner is definitely not...kinda, sorta...but that doesn't mean your game should be this braindead repetitive.

But I guess the game is good at making me feel like the Hulk because I got angry at this fucking thing a lot. I especially hate how the game is telling you things like to do a Tank Toss on something you need to throw to the sea when you can just toss it...or that entire chase segment with Abomination bleh...somethings definitely felt like padding here.

If Bruce was playing any of his games, either the ones worth a damn like this one or the shitty ones, none of those PCs or consoles would survive.

Atleast it's not insultingly bad like Marvel's Spider-Man....especially not in the story department. This game doesn't remind me why MJ and Peter broke up, yknow?

I'm also baffled by first Abomination battle suddenly becoming hard for me? I beat him easily months ago on my abandoned playthrough by simply bruteforcing it and I was playing on Normal. But NOW on Easy, he easily kicked my ass like 5 times! I know you're supposed to ram him into the walls but even that is hard on itself! I'm so confused on why this happened, same thing happened to a good friend of mine too! Did the AI became self-aware? Did the developers somehow swap his Easy and Normal values by accident? Did we simply got rusty on his part? I dunno...man...

I didn't even bother reading the Blonsky Files, they bore me I just let the voices play so that the stars go away and stop bothering me at the menu

Anyways, recently I booted this up again after beating '03 and gave up on the same mission..."Got Yourself a Convoy".
It really says that my friend ended up getting 55 comic book covers, which is used to unlock extras like art, movies and extras. Turned on the double damage and double HP pickup cheats, got up to where I was and tossed me the save file and THAT'S what it took to make the game fun. Well...more like bearable near the end but yeah. It was more like a stepping stone in his replay and I didn't ask him to do this but I really appreciate him doing so...thanks to that the playthrough is saved and completed lol.

But yknow what? Fuck all that negativity, how about we end this on a positive note? Let me talk about something I love, Devil Hulk! I LOVE Devil Hulk! He's so fucking cool, his design, his voice, how he haunts Bruce, his boss battle, the visuals of that...and the way of him being this bogeyman inside and treating Hulk like a sniveling child...man they really nailed him...the whole concept of being this demon inside who is here to corrupt you thing is done really well with him...I wish he appeared a bit longer but he was definitely built up and used far better than say....Mercy...atleast I felt something unlike Mercy. That part definitely got me interested more in Hulk mythos, I'm not saying I'm gonna read anything but who knows!

And oh man, talk about Abomination! I feel like I finally go to know this character for the first time and remember him as a memorable one too! My only exposure to him is The Incredible Hulk (2008) really and despite having seen that movie multiple times, he never really stood out to me...sure I remember him but he's not really memorable yknow? He's just the big baddie there to fight Hulk...but here! His motivations, his personality, his great voice (Ron Perlman!), the way he fights...I truly feel like I got to know this character after knowing about him for over a decade now. Thank you for doing him so well and making him so memorable, UD.
You have no idea how it feels to finally know and embrace something and see it's true hidden potential after seeing and knowing just a husk representation of it for over a decade, it feels conclusive. Definitely another peek at the larger Hulk comic mythos I feel I saw with this one.

Also I love that they put General Ross in a mech as a boss fight, that rocks! It reminds me of the boss fight with Tron Bonne in that giant mech in Mega Man Legends 1 lol

Maybe someday someone will make a tweak mod to bring this game to it's potential...speaking of tweaking I love the fact that the source code of Hulk 2003 leaked and people could be making all sorts of ports and mods with but nobody seems to care lmao

2003

Fun game, this was a game I couldn't get far in as a kid due to the puzzle in the first Banner level aand I kinda found it disapointing to play as Banner so soon after how satisfying it felt to play as Hulk. As a result I'd just play that first level over and over again to have fun until I got bored of it, so I still have fond memories of the game.

I like Hulk (2003) the movie, it's not the best and it's got some boring parts but it's definitely a well made movie with a lot of passion put into it...from a filmmaking standpoint, I'd say it's excellent...I suppose Ang Lee isn't famous for nothing...even if I'm not a huge fan, there's a lot of things I like about the movie as it's a good watch once in a long while....

Those feelings extend to the game too, well game is more fun cuz its fun to play as the Hulk lol but Banner segments are pretty alright too...but sadly this game has it's issues with the emulation, as lines longer than 10 seconds cut off (but you really miss nothing as all the story is in the FMVs and those aren't effected) buuut it also turns an autojump off in the second Banner level and...while this can happen on hardware too that fixes itself...here it doesn't sooooo I had to use a Level skip code and watch the level on YouTube...how fun...oh well, I'm not a huge fan of these and it don't seem like the best level ever anyway.

On PC port, this can be fixed by simply setting it to 60FPS tho as with many old PC ports, it can take some tinkering to run.
Game needs a widescreen exe if you wanna make it work that way....aand maybe make sure your drivers are updated cuz I got a friend who had an issue with that lol. PC Gaming Wiki is your friend.

I find it interesting that they put in Banner levels at all, it's a cool way to add variety....and might as well make use of that Eric Bana money, huh? lol

I also really appreciate they bothered to make this a sequel cuz let's face it...there's no way in hell we'd get anything even close to it if it wasn't literally made simultaneously alongside the movie with developers literally on the set.

Much like the movie, I can see a lot of passion went into this game...even if it falls short on some aspects, it's a fun that's worth remembering, as such the Ang Lee Hulk universe, is a flawed yet fun version to come back to every now and then....don't expect that Gamma Kingdom to be followed upon tho lol

I like that most bosses are Hulk-like and I really like Halflife lol, Nosferatu Valve name stealing fuck

FUCK THOSE STUNLOCKING ENEMIES THO god talk about bad design...I guess they put you in the non-existent shoes (or shorts?....ew) of the Hulk all the way, INCLUDING PISSING YOU OFF AT TIMES. Atleast you can easily counter the smurf fuckers with jump punching tho..I also dunno how to feel about the being able to run past everyone design in a Hulk game where you're supposed to beat 'em up...but hey it saves me a lot of headache so...thanks for that lol, I still played legitmately as much as I could tho

I'm glad to finally play this all the way and see what's it about...20 levels tho, this game is pretty short lol
I played this on Dolphin as no way I'm fucking with that PC port now...PCSX2 also seems to have lines cut off but far later? I didn't realize that difference but yeah...I have no clue how does Cxbx or Xemu fare with this game tho...I hope atleast the emulation issues get fixed someday...man....

Oh yeah, challenges are fun, I only cared to try Hulk Smash! but it was fun...I really like the inclusion of Gray Hulk lol, his lines are pretty cool

My first game of the year is a real Hulk-out! lol

Great game, a lot of fun and badass moments. Storytelling is definitely great. But godawful PC port, hands down one of the worst of all time...with no patch in sight...

I grabbed this on Steam when they were giving it away for a while in 2017...I tried and gave up on various attempts up until 2018. I had some attempts in 2016 aswell.

We finally beat this thing with my wonderful friend joining me for co-op (which we activated through Radmin VPN). He made what otherwise would be a troublesome run once again a lot more fun and showed me a lot of cool things too :)

I'm also just so glad to finally beat this thing, whew...a literal 9 years after beating 3 and 4 but here we are lol...also 8 after Gat Out of Hell I guess but fuck that game.

I still prefer 3 and 4 gameplay-wise but storywise this is definitely something else, sucks the series got a bit flanderized and flat out abandoned plotlines with 3 onwards to it's eventual recent demise...this misguided mindset to differentiate itself from GTA among other things really wasn't a good idea.

We played on Casual difficulty since Co-op doubles the enemy count and makes some things harder.
We used Gentlemen of the Row (you both need the exact same version for Co-op to work), 4GB patched exe, DXVK and High Quality Radio mods to fix and improve the game as much as possible and reduce crashes...still had some dumb crashes here and there but it's made the game a lot more stable with a fluid 60FPS. I cannot tell you enough to check out guides and tutorials to how to make this port as smooth as possible through guides on YouTube and Steam, you'll need it.

Between no port of 1, this thing will likely never getting that patch, that weird remaster of 3 no one asked for and 4's Re-Elected update breaking mods and GOTH and further on...Saints Row is easily one of the worst preserved franchises of all-time and it's a damn shame cuz these games truly deserve better.

One of the ports of all-time.
I finally go to make a bad asian bitch in high heels tho! again!

Fine game, fine remake, I like some of the changes and additions...but nothing beats the beauty that is the original for me...man I hate this erasure of Anime pretty boy Dracula lol.

Visually it's really dull tho...I get that this is PSP but that's no excuse to make the textures so colorless...I have no idea why this happened when they didn't have this problem when trying to bring Kojima style to 3D before. Maybe one day it'll be redeemed by a PPSSPP texture pack, so far only an HD upscale exists.

I appreciate them keeping the difficulty and gameplay feeling exactly the same though...this remake doesn't hold your hand unlike the many "remakes" now and I gotta give it props for that.

Also I used Richter more this time and actually saved Annette as her...I felt a bit dissatisfied when I rescued her as Maria in Rondo so I'm glad to find bring that to a closure.

Remakes lately leave a bad taste in my mouth and I'm sick of them, so that definitely made me tired of this one near the end...yes that's not the game's fault but what can I say?

Screw Stage 5' tho, I'm not doing that, especially after having already beaten Dracula.

Also why PSP? What an odd choice of platform going from PC Engine...

Rondo is easily the better version.

Fun flashy fighter, did all the Arcade modes on Resurrection.

I played on 1 Round, Turbo 4, 7 Star Damage Easiest and Auto Guard and I fully expect hardcore fighting game fans to get mad at me for this....but I had a lot of fun!

Pretty good game, and a pretty good sequel to Bloodlines. I enjoyed it but I had previously abandoned it due to not being able to beat the final boss and not being able to get True Vampire Killer either...Nest of Evil being required for 1000% percent didn't help...by previously, I mean a few months back and before the current playthrough I had restarted the game before and quit early like a week ago. So I basically played the game twice and had started it thrice...which really dragged it for me and sucked some fun out in some places.

It's just not my fav Castlevania or anything anyway sooo...the duo and other characters are very charming tho, the duo idea is very interesting and done well though it definitely felt like Charlotte was much weaker compared to Jonathan...which is bleh. Plot is interesting and the new lore they drop about the in-universe history and what happened to the Bloodlines characters.

Either way, it's a good time.

I used the Portrait of Elegance hack which replaces the anime style portraits with Ayami Kojima styled artwork (using from Grimore of Souls and other edits to match the characters), really helps make the game much better.

I've done everything 100% besides Nest of Evil (which gives me 900%) and I've cured Vincent, I also got the Alucard Spear so I now have all the OG Bloodlines weapons....maybe I shouldn't have cured Vincent for funnier results? Oh well!

This sexy motherfucker is my go to for MUGEN now, a beautiful evolution of the engine indeed.

May all our ikemen go!

A customizable juggernaut classic, tho I now retired it in favor of Ikemen GO but hey, this is still the legend that started it all and its what Ikemen uses assets for

Also what the hell is that boxart lmao

Decent game, nice atmosphere like REmake, more lore. FUCK THAT HOOKSHOT THO, AND FUCK THE IDEA OF NO ITEM BOX IN GENERAL. Otherwise it's a fine survival horror game, also geez those monkeys...

Got Rank D, oh well

Dolphin has a big boob Rebecca cheat, how based :)

Catherine gotta be one of the best romantic comedies....tragedies?...one of the best romantic chaos of all time. As a game, it's very unique in both story and gameplay, seriously I haven't seen a gameplay formula so original. It also does a great job with the questions, uncertainties and fears of love, relationships, marriage and life in general. Full Body adds even more to that with another angle. Original game was about this one guy stuck between two girls wondering what the hell he was gonna do. It also has some very interesting ideas and suggestions about romance, humanity and such.

Here...okay first of all, Rin is great, excellent character, kind person, cute as a button, whatever. But he's too perfect with really no downsides. That's a complaint I have about these characters in enhanced versions of Atlus games, they often feel like they're intruding on a story they have no place in. Yes I like my Marie, my Rin, my Violet...my whatever but ehhh...atleast Persona 3 seperated it's campaigns and Maruki didn't have actually have this problem for me now that I think about it, goddamn. Rin being an alien, and angels being explained as aliens people just worshipped was really interesting, I hear this was done so Vincent and the player had an even more outrageous thing about Rin to accept....oh you silly gooses, with the kinda games most Catherine players play, this choice is a cakewalk! Hell, I'd say more people would struggle with the PENIS! (eek!) aspect. I'm a little confused on thing about Rin's gender reveal party, how come Erica didn't correct anyone on his pronouns? or does Rin just go by she/her?...but then...I confused myself, I'm overthinking a video game character's pronouns, I've come to this point people lol. I like to think it's just glossed over to keep the reveal hidden (not 100% sure how pronouns work in Japanese), moving on.

I also wanna praise how well they did Vincent coming to terms with Rin's secret and the fact that he's still into him, it's not a sudden magical flip of a switch like "Oh my god, you're a guy?! that's so cool!", his friends don't suddenly just go "oh you're gay now, oh ok", like people actually sit down, talk things and go through the struggles, the confusion, the clash with previous attitudes...Vincent going "Don't touch me!" to instantly regret it, that whole conversation they have in Stray Sheep, him coming to terms with it and his friends being huh really? then supporting him and Vincent fighting for his love the same way he would've on the other routes...and them just being a happy couple after all that, dare I say, this is one of the best executions of "le gay" in a media I've seen, especially these days? Most media nowadays, especially western, has this attitude that it's a big deal and "I must paste this into my story to make myself look good!" attitude, old media didn't have this attitude, of course this had the good, the bad, the whatever but you might notice most old good portrayals of it didn't really have to try so hard, it really says something when Xandir from Drawn Together is lightyears ahead of anything Disney "tried" in the last couple of years.

On a different topic, about those attitudes I mentioned, this game was originally made in 2011..I think it's still set in that time in this version? Which makes it's plot even more bold to take place arguably. Also are they in Japan or America?Everyone has English names and seem like they're meant to be American...yet this place truly feels Japanese...I dunno, maybe this 'Murica just has that one Japanese style restaurant Vincent and Orlando likes to go to..

But man if it's set in 2011, then you already know how most people would feel about those certain topics this game goes into...cuz let's be real, most of us lived in that world, most of us thought and felt those things, yes things changed, yes we grew and moved on but that doesn't mean people just automatically flip a switch all of a sudden and go "oh yes I was used to this mindset my whole life!", now it's not always as complicated as it was in this game nor is it that way for every person...but growing up in that world you can have certain thoughts and ideas put into or wired to your brain, that doesn't mean you agree with em when you know better but it can take time to shake that off. Also not everyone can be just expected to be an expert on things like this on a whim...besides we don't all live in America where it's treated that way. As a non-American, I can say this is accurate to how this conversation would go irl....also this route gave me a definitive answer on how I feel about femboys....ehhh I prefer a chick, I'm happy for them don't get me wrong but I felt myself more interested in the alien chick Johnny hooked up with lol. Ultimately, I rather either go for the smart chick or the bad bitch.

Also I didn't think much of her besides her feeling like a really fun and pleasant person to be around on my PC playthrough in 2019 but now...GODDAMN ERICA IS A BADDIE...wish she had a route but oh well

I actually went for Catherine True after this, no hold back bad bitch route! Don't regret it, it's more my style here lol. I also used the Nero Glasses this time, heheheh. God bless whoever came up with these! Truly the thrill seeking perverted route! But to me realistically Catherine would be more of a one time thrill than a life long journey.

I guess if I were to describe what each of them represent to me, in the order of the routes I went for, it'd go like this:
Katherine - Lifelong journey partner (Not helped by the fact that I just go for smart chicks in these games, looking at you, Makoto)
Rin - Love for something pure and trying something new, tho realizing it's eventually not for me
Catherine - Friends with benefits or simply a one time thrill

Persona 5 stuff is cute, Trisha got thirsty for Joker tho lmao

Also 10/10 points for making the logo a woman's thong covered ass

A true classic, fun gameplay, fun peripheral use. Which felt mindblowing at the time...still does hehe. I estimiate this to be my first game ever, period. If not this, it was Super Mario Bros...but either way, not much that needs to be said, a good old classic.
