Dogshit performance and iffy storytelling hinders this game so goddamn much, but it's an honest to god Dragon's Dogma game and that's all I ever wanted. Even now, as I am winding down from finishing the game, I can't stop thinking about going into NG+ to do all the side content I missed out on as well as thinking up all kinds of runs exactly like I do with DDDA. Very far from a perfect game, but it's practically perfect to me.

Never fall in love with a Live Service game. They'll give you highest highs, and then they'll take them away and tell you it's still just as good.

It tries to be a Bethesda game and a space game, but both clash with each other and it ends up being good at neither. I can tell they tried really hard and there's a lot of good stuff in there but ultimately it does not work.

Made it my 2021 new years resolution to not change my discord profile pic, which is one of the avatars in this game, until i beat it.
Big mistake.

I have no idea how, but this game manages to be a triple A game with high production values and peak eurojank simultaneously. I unironically would like a sequel just to see where the story goes.
I rate it Crispy outta Critters (recommend trying it out if you can get for free by gamepass or a friend's copy)

The Live Service and its consequences have been a disaster for the racing genre.

I played the adventure demo for this on PS3, and I shit you not the only reason I bought the game was because I just really liked how it felt to jump from rooftop to rooftop in Cassardis.
Anyway I then proceeded to dump 973 hours in it across multiple saves on PS3 where the game constantly ran at like sub 25FPS and it became my favorite video game of all time.

So close to being Halo and 343's big break, yet so far.

Miyazaki's greatest creation since My Neighbor Totoro

Finally, a way to replay Skyrim without replaying Skyrim.
Humorously presented genuine point aside, this does incredible things I never knew you could do with Skyrim. I highly recommend trying it out for the low, low price of IT'S LITERALLY FREE DOWNLOAD IT ALREADY

This is the first game in years where I go to sleep thinking how much I can't wait to continue playing it tomorrow. The game is far from perfect. But to me, this game is not only my first and strongest nominee for GOTY yet, but also my first nominee for game of the decade.
