I tried this game when it first released in 2020. And I thought I had shelved it forever to be honest. But here we are.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a game made for people who have played the original Final Fantasy VII and that is painstakingly apparent.

This game, is so boring. Nothing happens for the first 12 chapters of the game.

The game expects you to have played the original game. The first 10 chapters are spent exploring environments and relationships that they obviously expect you to have some sort of attachment to.

They want you to go "Oh wow look there's such and such place and oh look there's that guy who only had one line of dialogue in the original and now he's been telling me his whole life story for 2 fucking hours".

The game doesn't give you any time to get to know the characters in the early game. You'll spend a while with Tifa for example and then you'll just piss off on another adventure with someone else and not see her again for three chapters.

The gameplay in this game feels very slow. Something about the way Cloud swings his sword just feels off. This is more of a personal gripe. I think the reason is they want to make it feel like the giant hunk-of-shit sword he's swinging feel heavy. I understand this, but you can't have him swinging it around like a fucking stick that he found in the garden in cutscenes.

The story is just fine. I think it is very boring for the first 2/3 of the game but once the stuff in chapter 12 happens then it starts to get quite interesting.

I like the characters, but once again it took a long time for me to think this. I think they're all just swell. My favourite character was jessie... and that's all i'll say there.

Not that its a surprise but i suppose it is worth mentioning. The music is absolutely amazing, it's a final fantasy game. I have always loved the original game's soundtrack even thought i only played about 5 hours. It just one of those soundtracks you hear all the time and you're like "yeah this is the best".

I'm excited to see where the story goes with rebirth and I will play it eventually. I am just glad I can put this game behind me forever. Yes. Forever.

"The unknown journey will continue..." As much as i wish it fucking wouldn't.

I played this game specifically to spite people in a Discord server who were saying it's bad in one sitting to 100% because I will not take slander towards this absolute gem of a game. Mario 64 isn't perfect. Rainbow Ride is mid, the bosses aren't anything special, some of the stars are tedious as hell and exiting a stage every time you get a star gets monotonous after a while. But despite those issues everything from the controls, to (most of) the levels, to the music, to even the visual style for being one of the first N64 games is absolutely stellar. There's a reason why this game is the golden standart for 3D platformers, and why it's remained that for so long.

Just started a few days ago, I won’t say I don’t like it but I will say it is not a good racing game while using a controller. Besides that it has nice features and for someone who loves cars like me they have everything thing you can think of. The playlist are really fun and challenging too. Will give an update after playing more.

An arcade racing miracle. Delicious sound effects, killer music, rad motorcycles, perfect controls, and blistering speed. What more could you want?

A sort of strange online multiplayer homunculus of Hot Shots Golf (they killed off that name :( ) that is still essentially the only good golf game anyone makes. I think the fun hole modifiers make this one of the easiest golf games for a new player to enjoy (notoriously rough genre for new players)

Monstrously underrated game. Wish it was a big FF game, not a portable spinoff and has better development of side playable characters. But it's still great and the plot is catchy. Music is awesome. Just listen to Utakata for example

Innacurate as hell, all players showed and the DM didn't cancel last minute

EXPLOSIONS, BADASSERY, AND MORE EXPLOSIONS! MR. TORGUE DLC IS A FREAKIN' EXPLOSIVE RIDE OF PURE AWESOMENESS, I GIVE IT A BAZILLION OUT OF TEN!!! MEEYOWEYOWYOWYOWEEYOW!

It was nice racing game. It's pity everyone forget it so fast
