idk it's kinda mid right. I mean it's a clone of vampire survivors with a lot less engaging mechanics. It's fine

By far one of the best rogue-likes from the last couple of years. Played this a lot with a friend of mine, it's co-op mode is just as satisfying and responsive as its single player. You truly feel like a master of the elements with this one.

Man my friend and I played the shit out of this. We beat every level and got ridiculously efficient at calling out the sheets' indications. The adrenaline rush this game gives you is unparallel.

some of the most fun I've ever had with a snes game. Played it a lot if with my friend during lockdown, and the two of us would get glued to the pc monitor we had it hooked up to for hours. We never finished it actually, we got stuck on the goddamn minecart sequence of it. The difficulty curve of this game is a goddamn rollercoaster and I love it immensely. The laughs we shared playing this, looking up videos on youtube on how to optimize our pathing etc will stay with me for years to come

One of the DS games that most stayed with me. Played it a lot when I first got it when I must have been 8 or 9 years old. The story is very catching, inventive and quite forward for a children's game, I still recall the hours I spent marvelled at its levels layouts, the art of the enemies, objects, background details was so unique as well. Great soundtrack too. The ending of this game is still with me, fucking surprised me as a kid.

This is peak ps2-era gaming
I will not be dissuaded differently

aaah this reminds me of being 16 smoking weed with a bunch of friends and playing the shit out of this old game
the game was really fun, just a shame most of its more compelling features were blocked by a lot of unlocks

another HUUGE game of my childhood.
Fucking hell i loved the shit out of this game. I remember hating Poppy and Rosalyn, painting poppy's cutesy house in black and giving rosalyn's mayoral mansion a punk aesthetic. I remember having a HUUUGE crush on the goth girl Violet and Maria as well. I loved Gino as well the italian fuck. I spent hours upon hours upon hours on its building design, as I was already very much in love with architecture. And editing the household objects and creating new ones?? aaah that was great. Collecting new patterns to paint with, exploring new areas you would unlock.
I remmeber the game being quite big actually, or at least I sure took my time with it, I played it everyday and never even unlocked star level 5. This along with many others I've written about was likely a big influence on developing my creative interest. Holds a big space in my heart

2011

I remember buying this on a fucking grocery store for 9€, I also got Darkness II for the same price. I don't remember much, other than that I was injured while playing it, and gave up on it after a while. Surely it must have been remarkable

first game I ever tried to speedrun
gave up in a few hours
I was not very resilient back then

man this game is super fun. one of the ones me and my buddy grinded out the most in my mini snes. perfect arcade fun. And the cyperpunk wild west setting?? amazing

Yeah I remember playing this on the PS3 and being really surprised at how well put together the game was you know? It was an entirely open world experience filled with wonderful little side activities, from the dueling club to the potion brewing mini games, the quidditch sections, and the whole area was actually really fun to explore. You know in terms of the story's gameplay it was fine, had some fun moments but it was mostly mid, but what this game really shined in was giving us an open world hogwarts to explore.

man I remember my big brother got so fucking pissed at me because 7 year old me spent our precious wii shop points in this stupid ass game instead of rumble, which he really wanted to play. ranch wasn't even that fun.

man I thought I was kinda decent at hollow knight, until I got here. Goddamn it's so much fun tho

A GUN-WIELDING SAMURAI?? A KATANA-WIELDING GUNSLINGER?? MAN WTF WAS THIS GAME
I swear to god this shit was so batshit insane, rolling through ancient japanese dojos through a wild west setting, with ridiculous villains all whiLE SLICING A KATANA AND SHOOTING A GUN?? Like you would actually slice and shoot with the goddamn wii remote this shit was INSANE 9 year old me could not believe my eyes. This is literally a kid's dream, mashing together two historical troupes any little boy loves, with absolutely nO disregard for historical accuracy or even pragamatism in terms of combat. This is literally a kid's dream. I had so much fun with this, truly a unique piece.
I don't give a shit if I'm seeing this with rose coloured glasses and the gamplay was trash YOU WERE A SAMURAI WITH A GUN SHUT UP
