One of my biggest disappointments with a VN. Full of plot holes, Sachi's route is one of the worst I've ever read. A shame because I loved the anime many years ago.

The mystery was great and consistent most of the time. Both routes were very interesting. The start of Majima's route was better, but overall I preferred Kiryu's one, I like him more. The worldbuilding was very nice, I like a lot of characters more now, like Nishiki
On the other hand, Yakuza continues with some bad addictions that make the series inconsistent. The final stretch was a little disappointing. The author is still addicted to killing characters for nothing or because yes or because they're no longer useful to the author.

SURPRISED. Solid, well-written mystery. I definitely didn't know that Kaoru existed and that she was a well-written character. I wasn't expecting Kiwami 2 being that good. What makes this Yakuza probably the best yet is that it brings a heritage (finally).

I give up, it won't be worth it. The story presents several interesting ideas, but the pacing is HORRIBLE, the lack of voice acting + audiovisual dynamics are extremely serious and the soundtrack is VERY poorly synchronized. I'm going to bet on the anime.

the best game in the franchise. Yakuza 6 had a very interesting solid mystery, being its greatest point. Thank you for the journey, it's not an amazing series, but very worth a try. Let's continue into the new era.

The epilogue of this game was really AWESOME even though the final chapter was cringe af (they almost made a good game become mid, as expected of yakuza we can't underestimate what this series can do) the epilogue was really nice

Yakuza 7 marks the decline of this series once for all, unbelievable. This game is on the same pedestal as Yakuza 3, F tier
Ryu Ga Gotoku's combat has become a generic's JRPG, all due to the insistence on wanting to be like Dragon Quest.
Several big franchises are reinventing themselves and trying to make new experiences for the players, and Yakuza, instead of also looking for a new experience for its players, decided to look for an already existing idea. In terms of being mediocre, this series will never disappoint me.
I don't want to go into details because I don't review spoilers but, in the narrative, this Yakuza returns with the flaws of the old games that were being fixed bit by bit, threwing it all down the sewer again.
Fire Emblem and Yakuza are two things from the same bag, two famous series but with a pitiful storytelling, it looks like it was written between 15yo high school classmates
The message it wanted to convey is beautiful, but its poor storytelling didn't help one bit and, finally, once again let's discard characters that are no longer useful to the plot, from the moment they regretted it and had nothing more to say, goodbye!! Suck my balls if it's exciting watching this same snowball for 7 games
This franchise once and for all doesn't know how to create heritage to its future games. If we look back we only have Majima (dude had only 1 game and was never important anymore), Saejima, Daigo, Kiryu and Haruka, the rest are tools that complement the plot. Even the ones who were left alive never appeared again, the form this series discard characters is appalling.
I think that once and for all I'm tired of Yakuza series, it's not worth my time anymore.
