Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a breath of fresh air for 2D Mario Platformers. I enjoyed this game from start to end. As there was always something new in each level whether it was the level theme or the wonder flower completely changing how the level is played. It kind of reminded me of Yoshi's Island with how each level was given a distinct name and had it's own thing to it. Not all levels were winners. But a good majority of them were fun. I 100% this game easily. This game struggles with having a ton of challenge in the earlier levels. By at least World 5, I'm questioning where the difficulty is at. Besides the Special World levels, none of them really stumped me for a good while, and that's all thanks in part to the flower badges. The badges pretty much make every level a cake walk, especially if you're like me and find the badge that is your crutch and use no other badges cough cough floating high jump badge cough cough. This game also has a plethora of characters to play as, including Daisy. It allows everyone to have their own character and play through the adventure as that character. If you want to be the main character or are basic, play as Mario. If you have good taste, play as Daisy. If you're a stupid dumb stupid bitch who needs their hand held while playing this game and need a rewind feature in the older Mario games, play as Nabbit. Finally, the story, it is ok. I mean the plot feels climatic until I get to Bowser and question everything. He's also an easy ass boss too, so that's just great. Overall Mario Wonder was fun. I would like more games in this style. Just as long as they change it up for every entry and don't do a repeat of the New Super Mario Bros. Series.

Classic. Fun. Breathtaking. Has a great cast of characters with a lot of charm. Who could forget Popo... and... uh... Polar Bear. Simply one of the greatest games of all time. Some people will be like "This game sucks" "The controls suck" "I hate the slippery feeling of this game". But then praise games like Jump King, Getting Over It, and Only Up. They don't understand, this game was the ultimate challenge, and it beats every single one of those games that I mentioned. Not only for it's platforming gameplay, but the super in depth "hammer" combat system.

Imma be honest, I only beat a majority of this game to get to the castle crush stage and do the game breaking glitch that Flippy showed off in his Top 10 Worst Game Breaking Glitches Video. I wanted to see my game flip out and go berserk, but on the NSO release, it did jackshit. By that point I was already at the end of the game and I pretty much used rewind all the way up to that point. So I sat down and beat the final three missions. Goddamn they were hard. This game is not forgiving on the difficulty. I used rewind and I don't feel bad. This game is bullshit, but in a fun way.

I think Pokémon Black is a great game. Everything pretty much slaps; The Story, The Region, The Characters, The Music. It was a great game to play through. I enjoyed it most of the way through. My only problem I have with the game is the Pokémon variety. I get that this was sort of a soft reboot and that’s why it’s only new Pokémon up until the post game. But some of the new Pokémon kind of suck. Not a whole lot of options and the coolest Pokémon Volcorona is pretty locked behind the post game. Which really fucking sucks. But that’s my only problem with it. Game’s great.

Also shoutout DKOldies for shipping me a working copy of the game for $120. I will never get that money back nor will I be featured in one of their TikTok’s with Joey saying my name, saying what I purchased, and throwing in a $0.05 bonus item. Very sad.
