fun. not too complex. good music. cute.

it's fine for what it is

had to play this for the podcast

it's... not the worst game I've ever played? It's pretty thoroughly unremarkable however. let's move on

decently fun 2D platformer shooter thing. Fun to spend an hour with. it was free, so... yeah.

Also it surprisingly has pretty developed characterization for Gordon Freeman, unlike any of the main Half-Life games lol

Really solid action-platformer. A bit on the easy side, but that's not a bad thing at all. I had a great time playing it, and it has music from Kinuyo Yamashita (of Castlevania and Mega Man X3 fame), so fuck yeah

Really amazing story. One of the best I've experienced in a game. Not as big a fan of the gameplay, since I just don't care that much for adventure games or puzzle-solving in general, but I had a friend help me through it whenever I got stuck, so that was nice of her. lol

Fun time. They took the basic Elevator Action structure, and really expanded on it in fun, exciting ways. Totally badass.

Fun game. The actual main goal is tough to achieve, but it's still enjoyable even just casually running and jumping through. I beat this for the first time, and it was pretty intense to do so - I had just 16 seconds left on the clock at the end. A satisfying challenge.

Great game. Not hugely into character action or rhythm games, but I've dabbled in those genres a bit. I had a great time with this game's fusion of the two. Fun style, hilarious sense of humor, and definitely worth checking out.

Absolute, pure, utter shit. what the fuck.

fucking garbage-ass bullshit. gross. get this away from me

Fun platformer! Feels kinda halfway between Mario and Sonic in terms of design and controls - the physics of Bonk's bonk take a bit of getting used to, but it makes for a nice time. Definitely gonna check out the sequels when I get the chance.

Still not super experienced with shmups, personally, but I had a good time beating this one. Good music, nice overall presentation, plus fun weapons/weapon upgrade system, and intense shooting action.

Fun take on Tetris. I'm not the biggest fan of Tetris myself (I always just thought it was alright), but I do like the little twists and turns that this adds to the Tetris formula, which are inspired by the Clow Cards from Cardcaptor Sakura.

Speaking of Cardcaptor Sakura - I love Cardcaptor Sakura omg. If I have to play Tetris, it helps to have it alongside a license from my favorite anime series of all time. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Signalis is a fine enough game, I suppose. I thought it was alright. Story didn't feel all that remarkable, and the gameplay felt overly derivative of its influences - I spent the majority of the experience thinking "Wow, this is just like Resident Evil! That's just like Silent Hill! This other thing is just like Metal Gear!" Lacking in originality. Still though, not bad.

Pretty cool. Not as amazing as REmake 2 was, but this isn't a bad game at all. It does make some curious decisions with its approach to being a remake of Resident Evil 3 in particular, but the end result I had a good time with. Better than I was expecting, going in.

Fun, straightforward single-plane beat-em-up with some light platforming here and there. The gory horror vibe rules. I feel like (with the exception of one boss) this is a little too easy, but I had a good time with it. Looking forward to the sequels.
