2016

Probably the best combat of any shooter I have ever played.

De-De-De that's the name you should know!
De-De-De he's the king of the show!
You'll holler and hoot, he'll give Kirby the boot!
De-De-De is the one!

This game was fun but it honestly felt a bit too short. Looking forward to the sequel tho.

Probably the most mid entry of the series but better than 1 and 3

Literally the most fun game I have ever played and it isn't even finished yet

TBH, the gameplay was pretty great. Yes the story is awful and there were like, 3 characters I felt anything resembling a positive emotion towards, but the actual game part of the game was some of the most fun in the series.

On one hand I really, really want to love this game. It has a lot going for it and I could see myself coming back to this game from time to time for multiple playthroughs. On the other hand, fuuuuuuuuuuuck the pacing gets so bad in certain sections.

Like Civ but fantasy and also unfinished but still fun

Best FE-like game I have ever played.

I feel the same way about this game that I feel about Fallout 4. From a pure roleplay/story perspective it is quite lacking and I feel like it could have been so much more, but the game as a whole is still fun and I don't regret my time with it.

If you are ever just chilling in a discord call with some friends and none of y'all know what to do, just give this game a try, trust me.

This is a weird one because there's nothing inherently wrong with the game that I can point out it just couldn't keep me hooked. I can't bring myself to rate it any lower though.

I unfortunately spent over 1000 hours on this game before it EOS'd and even to this day I have way too many mixed feelings about the entire experience. If I were to summarize, it had the skeleton of a truly amazing game, but was bogged down by a lot of issues that ranged from mildly inconvenient to completely game ruining. Main issues being terrible UI, questionable balance decisions, lack of anything resembling a decent matchmaking system (although to be fair, when the playerbase bled out so quickly, that one was kind of unfixable), and optimization issues that made certain maps unplayable for many users. That being said, I obviously enjoyed the game enough to stick through all of that, but could I call it a good game? Probably not.

As my first game of the franchise this was a solid introduction. Although I often felt like the game was almost embarrassed by itself and refused to take itself even somewhat seriously. Humor was mostly fine but when it flopped it flopped really bad. Still, goofy fun but not really the most memorable experience.
