i hate to do this but after playing jet set radio in preperation i miss the more linear and authored structure so bad. there's just no friction to anything. i respect the attempt but i just can't see myself going crazy over it
great collection that really loves to waste your time with abridged versions and the 'story'. check out the actual games if you want a first time rhythm heaven experience

i know action games are supposed to be short but ruiner is a little too brief. three levels of packed combat arenas with no real variety in enemy encounters. borders on sensory overload how much shit you can pull off. the music is great and the story is fine, a little cliche in its cyberpunk setting. kind of dissapointed they didn't make a sequel. puppy is my best friend

a pretty accurate translation of rock band for a portable, right down to the menus and fonts. main mode is essentially keeping spinning plates up with constant switching between tracks. the carrer mode gets repetitive if you don't have any dlc installed, but we have homebrew and sd card converters nowadays so it's fine. one of the better console to psp translations, leaning into its strengths like a headphone jack and more disc space. probably not worth emulating but if you have a psp check this out.

god. they were this fucking close. unique style of gameplay in the guitar hero mold, more room for improvisation, an actual career mode, better graphics, cleaner presentation and more fun charts- then the entire plastic controller rhythm game empire collapsed. severely underrated and worth playing, find a way to play the dlc however you can. party hard vs ghostwriter still goes insane.
i came around to this game finally. i don't give a shit anymore. skyrim is great. suck my huge schlongs of skyrim cock.

this is the year i play just dance without shame and completely sober. some really good charts on this one. i understand why dancing is up there with books as something we just like doing for generations. player four in jerusalema is really cute.

god, what a downgrade. slower, shallower, uglier. the napoleon dynamite sketchbook aesthetic isn't doing it any favours, either. just makes me want to play ssx 3. at least the music is cool.
