I love Kingdom Hearts II but this one was not doing it for me at all. I don't know what happened but the combat in this was was so, so repetitive after a while. The plot in these games has always been cheesy, but here it was unbearable. I had to skip almost every cutscene. It's something I may try again, but honestly this felt like a bit of a step down in almost every way from a game from like 15 years previous.

I love the world, it's really immersive and has so much love clearly put into it. However, the gameplay is simply 'fine'. I like that you can approach missions from different perspectives and ways, but by the end it starts becoming a slog. I thought the plot was terrible also. It's something I might give another try one day, but after like 30 hours i decided my time was better spent elsewhere.

Really good fun and surprisingly made me think more of Super Mario Odyssey with it's sharp, snappy movement, compared to the more fluid and loose Super Mario 64, of which visually this references a lot.

The sense of humour is not for me, but the fast platforming gameplay and interesting use of the taxi as a playable protagonist is really cool. I liked the levels that pull from the Crazy Taxi gameplay loop on top of platforming. It's rewarding to learn to be good at platforming with the taxi.

From the graphics to the soundtrack, this thing is pure amazing '90s vibes. So much thought was put into all of this. Racing feels so, so smooth and rewarding and there's a really good amount of content. A beautiful time capsule game, I love it.

Aesthetically this is god-tier. Its weird vibe is to die for as well. Once I got used to the unconventional controls, I was loving this. Some of the puzzles are obtuse and the plot is hard to make out, but it's so rewarding to engross yourself in this. Gameplay is simple, but really exciting too. Something I'm very late on, but happy to see holds up impeccably well!

It plays nice, but it's so lacking in content. I never really have any desire to play this, except as an alternative multiplayer game to play if someone doesn't want to play Mario Kart or Smash Bros. It's cool to have a mario strikers game on Switch, but this feels like the bare minimum.
