One of, if not my favorite game ever made. Among the countless array of indie RPGs, Lisa manages to stand out as truly unmatched. It's gameplay, while somewhat standard for an RPG, manages to stand out as the narrative fully takes advantage of it. If you can handle dark subject matter and humor and/or enjoy an excellently crafted piece of art, I highly recommend Lisa.

Overall feels like a downgrade from the base game. The story over-explains itself to the point where most mysteries left open by the first game are completely gone, and the gameplay lacks the variety seen in Lisa the Painful. The dark humor is still there but is noticeably less prominent. If you liked the previous games, it's worth a playthrough, but don't expect much.

Half-Life 2 is a near-perfect combination of quality gameplay and story-telling the likes of which the gaming industry needs far more of. The gameplay itself is fun, diverse, and creative, it still looks great, the characters are memorable, the story, while not wholly unique, is told in the most intriguing way possible and often utilizes the gameplay to convey it for you. I now get the hype for a new game, but I also get why it'd never meet expectations too. Something as near-perfect as this is tough to follow up, but it's easily a new all-time favorite.
If you haven't gotten around to it yet, play Half-Life 2, it's worth every minute.
