I played this one many times now and it is one of the best games on the Wii U and one of the best co-op platformer multiplayer games. It is kind of easy most of time, but it know how to get difficult, especially in the later and secret worlds.
I never completed the secret worlds, but I really need to do it soon. But it is always funnier with a friend, and nowadays it is something difficult to gather.

I really like this game, but it gets a bit stale with time. There are levels that I just too long and boring, or just annoying. The visuals make it very unique and the boss fights are very good (Raphael the Raven forever). I loved this as a child and I still like nowadays, but less... and mastering it is a nightmare, a complete nightmare.

Still playing it, but the World-e stages are very hard.

This game is horrible. The controls are terrible, the graphics look weird, no thought was put into its design, the enemies take too long to die Kao's moves are useless.

It is one of those that you want to avoid at all costs.

I love this game, but the later world are so unforgiving... it is difficult for me to finish it without some kind of save state. It is not impossible, but it is indeed quite hard. Nothing that a lot of training can't overcome, though. The lack of a save feature hurts it so much, though (for the NES version)... playing it in the original hardware through all of the levels is a pain, as you lost your progress if you need to stop.

This is the Smash game I played the most through my life, with a friend. It was a very good time everytime we played it. Of course, it is a little flawed, and was replaced by the better Smash for Wii U and later Ultimate, but it was a blast when it was released. Back then, we didn't even care that much about tripping and the slower side of the game.

This game is very good, and quite challenging. I like its graphic style, its stages and bosses... but I hate stopping time and time again so I can blow dandelions and such just to get collectibles. Also, the motion controls don't work for this kind of game, being difficult as it is. And the rocket stages... those are bad. I liked it, after all, but not as much as its sequel.

The premise of this mod is very unique, and it's even more interesting when you that the Ocarina of Time modding scene isn't so popular as the one for Super Mario 64. Having Fox as a playable character doesn't make any sense in here, actually, and it could still be Link and wouldn't affect gameplay at all.

Despite the strange choice the rogue-lite mechanic is very unique and interesting, but it may cause some difficulty problems that happen because of the random position of the enemies. It is also very repetitive, since you only stay in the same place day after day, defeating some similar enemies many times.
Another issue that gets on my nerves is that you come back with only three hearts when you die, making the second attempt way too difficult, since hearts drop very seldomly from enemies.
Summing it all up, interesting concept, with a good enough execution, but with some major flaws that could have been worked on before release.

Pros: interesting concept
Innovative for the modding scene
Fox uses a light saber for the first time

Cons: design issues
Difficulty spikes
Few options for restoring health
Repetitiveness

Please, Nintendo, make a Donkey Kong Land with current DKC graphics and controls.
This game is very difficult, but most of times it's just because of its controls, they are terrible.
It is very impressive stuff for a console which couldn't handle not even NES graphics, and the soundtrack is actually interesting.
Some of the stages are very good and interesting, but many of them demand leaps of faith or surprise you with an enemy out of nowhere, mostly because of the screen crunch.
I'd like to play these stages and themes with good controls, though.

Beautiful and interesting... but I hate time mechanics

I liked it a lot, especially coming from a homebrew game. The creator went so far as creating 3D models of 2D enemies from the original Super Mario Land on Blender so he could make 2D sprites and put in the game. I played the first revision, and it had too much noise (Mario screams everytime he jumps, it doesn't work well with 2D games). The multiplayer is good and it doesn't hurt. It is incredible how someone could do this much for a SNES game, and it is not even a ROM hack! If you want to play Super Mario Land, play this one. Mario controls a little weird, but we start to get the hang of it with time, and it still controls better than the original. It is better than the Game Boy version.
The game is pretty short, though, but it is understandable, as it is a recreation, and the original is also short.

I tried to start it, but there's almost to no fun involved. How did it get a sequel? It is boring and difficult to get around the controls.

Okay, I tried to give it a chance. It is certainly very charming and is interesting for its time. But I grinded for hours and still couldn't walk through the map without being slapped by the monsters. You grind a lot, money is very difficult to get, since you need to grind even more. After the first couple of hours, it gets more interesting because you can finally go a little bit further away from the starting spot but then came the worst thing after grinding: you only save in the starting spot, so if your a long way from it and needs to stop playing, you're screwed. And then we realize that the items are very cryptic to find, and it is difficult to know where to go and the items are too expensive...
Yes, the game has a lot of problems, even though it's quite charming. I wouldn't recommend it, it's not worth the time it wants us to spend on it.

I hate NES-hard games... but wow, this one is actually pretty good! You die many times and you still want to keep going and try again. The fact that the continues are infinite and you have a life bar makes it feel not that unfair.
But the respawning enemies and the ones guarding edges are a pain.
And it has cutscenes!

This game is a masterpiece. It is one the games I know the most and played the most since when I was a child. Alongside Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3, this game helped me growing up and having the love I have for platformers nowadays until the day I die.
