Kirby's Dream Land 3
An improvement from Dream Land 2, but still underwhelming for what I would expect from a Kirby game. The level design is a bit clunky sometimes and the controls can feel strange on occasion. The camera caused a lot of problems since it didn't center the player on the middle of the screen.
And something about the graphics made me feel uncomfortable. Idk if it's the color palette used or the fact that it looked like it was made using crayons, but I feel like it could have been better, despite me knowing that the pixel art is very well-done.
The allies all have their pros and cons, but I will not argue the fact that the cat is objectively the best option most of the time.

Kirby's Dream Land
Crazy to think that the first Kirby game had no copy abilities, was only 5 levels, was one of the only times where Dedede was the main villain, and is better than some of the later Kirby games. The only real complaint I have is that the game is super short. I wish I kept track of the time it took to beat this game but it was definitely under 30 minutes. There were only 5 levels and the fifth one was barely even a level at all. It was basically just a boss rush.

Half-Life: Escape 2.0
Really wanted to play another Half-Life game, but I was getting so many bugs during the intro train ride that I literally couldn't get to the actual gameplay after the intro. And sorry, but I'm not going to sit here trying to mod the game to fix it or go through the same intro until it happens to work. A little disappointed since all the reviews say it's a pretty good HL mod, but I guess I won't see for myself.

Kirby's Dream Land 2
This game was really short but kind of a let down. The controls didn’t feel great, with there being no way to run. This made it a bit frustrating when I would die in a way that would have been avoidable if I had a small burst of speed to move.
The level design was fine, but some of the later levels felt a bit strange and almost a bit unfair in their layouts. The 3 animal friends were a nice change of pace, with each one having its own pros and cons (I think the owl might be the best one of the 3). The boss fights were pretty easy for the most part, but the final boss seemed to be a sharp incline in difficulty from everything else.

Deliver Us Mars
This game was a lot better than I was expecting. The story was super engaging to follow and get invested in. There was a lot of emotion in all of the characters in their actions, decisions, and words. When arguments between characters came up, I was struggling to decide which one I agreed with more. Tying in with the settings and world-building, I got super invested in everything. This is one of those games that I feel would make for a great movie or show.
The gameplay itself was pretty simplistic. Most of the game was following the path to travel and engage with the story. Any challenge that came up was usually just a puzzle that needed to be solved or needing to figure out which way to go in the more open sections.
The only remotely negative thing I have to say about this game is that the faces of the people look a bit off and uncanny. Something about them just doesn't seem quite right. But other than that small complaint, I really enjoyed my time with this game.
