I might have cleared level 1 a few times, maybe? All I remember from this game is that it was hard to play
My first game of the series and I liked it. It is interesting how you need to backtrack through old levels to find different items in order to progress. The music and controls were all really good and it was fun to play the different game modes.
A fine port of a great game. It's nice that they give you the DLC for the original game for free here.

The story game on here is abysmal, but that might just be me not liking these types of Sonic games. The level design was not good and the controls were terrible. I could never play this when I was younger because I wasn't good at it, so I tried again a few years ago and still didn't get very far, leading me to believe that the game is just bad.
The party mode is the only reason anyone ever played this and even then, you might as well just play Mario Party since it is a better version of this party mode.

Walking simulator that can be hard to progress in because of the black-and-white colors. I have gotten stuck because of that many times and I need to look up how to progress only to find out that there was a moveable object on the ground that I thought was part of the ground.

Apparently this game had an eReader feature? Idk I played it on the ds and I thought it was just a port of Mario 3.
