The plot is definitely a nice change of pace in a good way. I adored Yakuza 3's story, but admittedly being able to experience so much action here was really fun.

Whoever did the Saito fights is sadistic.

Combat was something to adjust to if you're playing chronologically, but overall got the hang of it. Endearing story even if wasn't as action-packed as its predecessors.

This game is actually so great. If you like Vampire Survivors, you should definitely check this game out. Regardless of whether you're a Hololive fan or not (the only benefit of being a fan is understanding the references anyway), it has so many mechanics that it has borrowed from other nonVS-type games that make it so fun to play.

(I do encourage that any non-Hololive fan, or more specifically non-Vtuber fans, check them out! There isn't that much difference between regular streamers and the Holos other than they're corpo, but that isn't meant to be a slight against them. And, if live streamers aren't your thing, there are always clips.)

This could be bias speaking but, I genuinely prefer this to VS. If you're tired of dying or just playing the main content, you can redirect your attention to the Holohouse feature. The best part is that you can still earn coins in this mode via fishing--- you can still upgrade your stats, do gacha, go farming, customize your house. The area is not finished yet either, so personally I can't wait to see what else Kay Yu has in store.

This game is such an incredible labor of love. I am in awe of what people can do.
