really love how detailed, cramped, and gross the baker property is but unfortunately everything after the old house completely loses me. lucas dollar store jigsaw chapter and the long, overly dramatic final chapter completely change the setting and horror into something else altogether and its way worse. only bit i liked was seeing jack remorseful to ethan in the mold afterlife or whatever.

could definitely all be my personal taste, expectations, and lack of resident evil experience but this really disappointed me. still will definitely check out other games in the series though, there's a lot of good shit here

a complete joy to play because of the vastly improved combat over 7, incredible cast, and loads of side content. unfortunately the story doesn't really deliver on everything it sets out do to, which is a disappointment. the ending insert song scene was still very powerful to me but would've had 10x more impact if they set it up better. still, love the itchy balls gang so much and look forward to them visiting toronto, canada in like a dragon 9!

also the dlc is scummy as shit and after skimming through a playthrough it doesn't even look any good lol

splatoon campaigns are like crack cocaine to me and this is no exception. can pose a fun challenge to even people who play an unhealthy amount of multiplayer like myself assuming you use low hacks and pick the harder floors often. music and theming are peak as always and off the hook are the best characters in the franchise ☝️☝️☝️

i think this game is real cool but also fuck this stupid shit

garage is a disturbing and brutal place where you're forced to find comfort in the uncomfortable and either work to remember and reconcile your unspeakable past or forever rot in the hole you put yourself in. one of the most depraved games i've ever played yet still beautiful and sincere.

amazing gameplay at the cost of an incomprehensibly bad story. still, regardless of the context surrounding it that irisu fight is crazy fucking good

i love the concept of fucked up meat/bile/organ vision and alongside the incredible score it's really easy to get engrossed within the opening minutes. unfortunately it ends up being wasted on a story with a few good moments and too many shameful scenes which serve no purpose besides sexual gratification. even outside of those incredibly distasteful scenes it still often ends up too edgy for its own good, the unfitting score choice during koji and fuminori's final confrontation as well as koji's conversation with his hallucination during his ending come to mind. i think the endings themselves are all pretty interesting but the fast pace the last two take to come to their conclusions are a bit unsatisfying. it's all a real shame because it could absolutely be something way better than it is

unironically vampire survivors if it was good. characters actually have distinct and fun kits and the music & art is very charming. once they add watame in i'll be able to rest easy.

as of right now this is literally just what overwatch 1 would look like if they chose to continually update it instead of largely stopping after echo released, except with a miserable new monetization system and 5v5. occasionally fun just like the original but i have absolutely no good will towards this game lol.

my favorite out of the trilogy, i've liked each one more than the rest and this one is especially solid. the gimmick to normal level ratio might be a bit unbalanced imo but that being said the only levels i didn't like were the underwater ones. was given hope that the funny polar bear guy would make a gameplay appearance after being shown in the intro but alas i'll make do with the tiger...

irreversibly altered my friend and i's vocabulary. incredibly well written with charming and varied gameplay. the gimmicky minds and waterloo world especially are highlights but the more standard platforming levels are still pretty good imo, just wish one wasn't filled with confusion rats.
