perhaps the most fun 100% completion experience I've had with a 2d mario game
finished the whole thing on one long plane ride and it did not disappoint. mesmerizing and rewarding for sure, if it stuck that landing a bit better it'd be perfect

honestly more chaotic than I remember, the music and character animations were the best in the series up until MK8D. super fun to 100% and playing co-op in the same kart was a genius design decision

jaw dropped when speaking with a friend after beating this game. I spoke about the most moving scene-- for me, when Harry takes a nap and has a dream about his wife near the end. my friend never experienced it. I had no idea it was optional.
