Yeah. It was aight. Interesting themes in here, but the twists didn't really blow my mind or anything. Also the gameplay was kinda too easy, even playing on the hardest difficulty and the story was kinda weirdly paced. I did enjoy it though nonetheless

I enjoyed writing naughty words on the fences and spending a couple hours using this as mindless backseat gameplay whilst debating with friends in a party chat over 'If a massive gorilla was going to molest you and you had 30 minutes to survive in the school where would you hide?', but I don't think I'm ever going to play this again

I'm finding it genuinely hard to find any flaws with this game. Story, level design or otherwise. A fluid experience the whole way through.

If City was a minor step up from Asylum, then Knight is an insane step up from City. Everything here feels refined, including the batmobile, which I see way too many people hating on. It's a good fucking addition and it's not even used THAT much so I don't get why people complain about it.

This game is also 8 years old and looks better than any other games coming out today. It literally looks better than the Spiderman 2 game on PS5, and plays much better too but won't get into that now.

Story is excellent, I do not care what anyone says. If people are getting mad about how obvious the twist is with Jason being the Arkham Knight, I say to you that... although you are correct, that isn't even the biggest part of the story. Because I think as a whole it's best to play Arkham Knight with all the side missions INCLUDING the season of infamy dlc. Of course if you're just going to go from scarecrow mission to milita predator mission to another scarecrow mission it's going to get boring. But throw in some riddler missions, penguin gun hideouts and finally, FINALLY some good content with two-face in this series and you will see one of the most well-rounded batman stories ever told, and there will never be a loss of anything to do. So much variety in the missions stops them from becoming boring and the story greatly benefits. Deathstroke coming in after the knight's identity is revealed is something most players will literally miss on their first time playing. It's unfortunate that some people won't understand the fluidity of the game, and thus won't get the full experience out of it. Let's run through what could've been an even better addition to a great story though; utilising the characters in different ways. I'll say this right now, Killer Croc should not have been dlc. They should have used him in the subplot with Simon Stagg and his experimentation on animals. Instead, the Beaneath the Surface missions should have used Bane instead. It would fit just as well but we'd have some more character variety which wouldn't hurt. Also it's very obvious that a Victor Zsasz mission was cut, so I wish we could have seen that too. All in all, another season of infamy type thing would have been great, maybe with some other villains mentioned in the previous games that we never got to see or interact with. Maxie Zeus, Prometheus, Calendar-Man, even Killer Moth, Ratcatcher and most definitely Clayface - because we know he didn't die in City, I would have though the pit made him immortal if anything.

I promised myself that I wouldn't review this until I completed all the story packs with Nightwing, Robin etc. but I've realised that you can just review them seperately on this app so I'll do that instead.

What away to end the series though. Every character given a great send-off. And the knightfall protocol, with Batman using the fear toxin to keep his legacy in Gotham city? Jesus I love this series. I love this game. I love batman.
