When is it appropriate to log this as "completed"? My roommate and I have basically done everything there is to do, but still play it once or twice a week together. Solid game to play a few rounds of with others

This was my first Kirby game (I don’t count Dream Course, lol). This is one that I picked up when I had some free time after work, and it’s a very good mindless experience. Not a favorite, but enjoyable enough, and the copious amount of copy abilities gives a lot of versatility (my favorite is Wing). Not sure if I’ll do the Extra mode, but I did grab as many energy spheres as possible (116/120). A solid Wii experience

Such a great little game. Seriously, one of the greatest Wii games and it costs ~$5 secondhand. There's no reason to NOT give this a shot. The soundtrack is incredible, it's all around such a good time and really made my summer of '22.

I fucking love this game, man. But I don't think I can bring myself to actually 100% it without going insane

A solid game to have some fun with, but not a great game. Enjoyable if you don't let yourself be too critical- plus, it's neat to have a Dreamcast experience on Gamecube- and Chaos is a very cool villain.

Played spring break '22. Huge fan of the original game. This remake is incredible, and insanely dense for a first part. It's a bit tragic that the next installments are PS5 exclusive, though. The combat is super sleek and the visuals are stunning.

Blows Stick of Truth out of the water. Did every fucking thing in this game including the DLC. Just a good time, and the music rocks. Again, this game is way solid enough that you don't have to be a SP fan to enjoy it, you just have to have a taste/tolerance for crude humor

New Kid setup: Dragon Reversal, Soul Slash, Grim Fate usually w/ Kenny and Wendy for range

Played during spring break '22. In this game, your "mana" is fart magic which can be raised by eating burritos, but if you eat too much you shit your pants. Truly a clever battle system. You won't like this if you're morally above fart jokes

Enjoyed this, especially as a fan of older SP and not so much the new stuff.

My 29-year-old cousin laughed at me for how long it took me to pick up this game, and rightfully so, lol. It wasn't really my thing at first, but by the time I had reached the Trevor story I was hooked. My favorite part was probably chasing the plane as Trevor, and all the Rampage missions

WITW? Incredible game. You have to play it for yourself. Not overwhelming, but enough content to keep you interested for hours. The creator is also a really nice guy.

Incredibly charming style to this game, very reminiscent of its time. Feels tailor-made to play on a Mac in an apple store in 2010

Peak Gaming

If you like the original PvZ you'll enjoy this. Simple concept with hard as balls gameplay after the third tank. My only complaint is that I wish there were steam achievements- there are clear in-game landmarks and I want to be able to flaunt beating tank 4 to my friends, dammit.

I don’t think anyone really thinks this is an exceptional game. But, like so many other people, I find myself glued to this shit for a week at a time, until I forget about it for a month and eventually come back. There’s hardly anything to do or work towards but for some reason you just keep coming back. It’s like a very very rudimentary Sims

The first Mario Party game I've ever played. I got this for my roommates and I to share on the apartment Wii, so nine times out of ten I'm drunk while playing. And I feel like that's the only way this can really be enjoyed. Marking as "complete" since I just beat the story mode (which was exhausting), though it will stay on the shelf for drunk party sessions. This game just feels like it lacks a lot of substance, both in gameplay, environments and features, in typical Wii fashion

Go-to character: Dry Bones
