Halo: Combat Evolved is a game I definitely felt like I need to play at some point just do to how massive the series' impact has been on gaming and just culture in general, but I can't help but feel waiting 23 years to play it may have hurt the experience a little. There wasn't much in it that felt special compared to what i have played before, but again that is probably due to the influence this had on other games that came after it. Looking at Halo through the lens of it coming out in 2001 I can see what made it so special. It just didn't do a lot for me other than be a decent shooter. I know that the series will get even better from here on out so I am excited to play those at some point as well.

PokeRogue is the best way to play Pokémon right now. I loved every moment, except the first time I lost on level 145, and I plan to keep playing endless mode.

I thought Final Fantasy VII Remake was an alright game when I played it. I enjoyed the characters, combat, and story, but it was paced terribly to the point that I couldn't help but find the game a bit annoying to play. I wasn't totally sure if I was going to get Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but after I saw some previews, and Tifa on the beach, I changed my mind. This was a great decision on my part.

FFVII Rebirth is better than the first remake in every single conceivable way. The story was more compelling, the combat was more in depth, the side missions were some of the highlights of the game rather than pace killing slogs, the music was outstanding, and the characters were even more likable. I will admit there are some little things that were kind of annoying like having to slowly move objects, or all of the climbing, but these weren't major things. I might go back later and go more in depth about what I loved so much about this game, but for now I want to sit on it a little longer.
