I am stunned. Life can be cruel sometimes and, this game shows that pretty well. You don't get a fairytale ending here. You get what life actually gives you. I know it is ironic because we play games to escape reality but, sometimes taking a different path or just being simple can make all the difference.
If you can see eye to eye with this, then you are gonna enjoy the game and the ending too.

This is my second mod of half-life after USS Darkstar. After finishing the main game and spin-offs, I wanted to try some of the mods for half-life. This one here actually sated my cravings for more of the vanilla half-life experience.
It's like Opposing Force on steroids. But the last chapter felt kinda stretched. The acting is on the mark. (I will miss Kevin.)
The companion soldier system is nuts in this game. You can carry you own squad and kick some xenian asses. There are parts those connect this game to some of the events of other half-life games. These are smoothly implemented and if you are a half-life fan then you will love those.
There is nothing for the story here. So, the experience is kinda forgettable, but if you are craving more of half-life then this mod will keep you hooked up for a decent amount of time.

Le Barney: I should catch Gordon and get my beer before he die.
I would love if they could have extended the story like this.

Pretty minimal story compared to Half-Life, but Opposing Force excels in Combat. The additional weapons and mechanics are a blast. Playing as Adrean Shepherd gives you a new perspective of black mesa incident. It kind of feels nice to visit the same locations again those you have seen in the original game. Even seeing the events of OG game happening from a 3rd person view.
This game might have got overshadowed by the OG half-life's impact on gaming industry, but this one is what I enjoyed more.

Marvelous work done by the design team of this game. Platforming combined with the Mr. Suicide Sheep tracks and the amazing powers make up for a mesmerizing experience. The game is short but it's free so no complains.

The game is good. The art style is beautiful. There are different ways to achieve a task and many different ending too. But I feel like I miss a lot here and there because of the number of choices you can make.
Edit: This was my first experience with a game that progresses based on the choices I make. Initially, I didn't realize I needed to save the game at the points where decisions are made. Now that I'm aware of this, I believe I'll be able to enjoy the game more.

For a game made even before I was born, it was pretty enjoyable. Was a little scary at some points though.

A great short demo of Half Life.

This game is like the topper's answer sheet, which the teacher uses to evaluate the other's sheets. Again, Valve games are great in general. Portal series is still one of my favorite games of all time.
After playing this, I can't stop until I complete the whole Half Life series. I can image how out of the world it would have been when it came out. Even today it makes up for its 90s graphics by its amazing storyline and gunplay.
I will give Half Life a replay but this time with Black Mesa. Hope it's at least on par, if not better, with this one.

PS: I played the MMod and not the vanilla one.

Pretty short but again, its portal. If you have some portal craving, you can definitely check this out.

As a hardcore video game fan I really loved how this game tells the story of evolution of video games. But because of that, this felt like more of a tech demo than a complete video game. I wanted to enjoy this game but halfway through and game starts getting a lot boring.

Update: Dropping off one star because of the ending. It was rushed. Also, Emilia, the second AI core, didn't get adequate screen time. I really want more of her GIGGLES.

Old review: I am really happy to play portal again and that with a completely new campaign too. The new mechanics are really fun and nicely integrated. They don't feel like a gimmick. I really liked the second AI core. She was kind of a waifu, I think.

If you are an indian guy in 20s, then you know what this game is for us. It might have aged now and can't compare to current AAA games, but this is still the GOAT.

It was perfect.....
PERFECT, Everything, down to the minute details.

So, I bought the arkham trilogy on steam at sale. I rarely buy games, but this game here was worth the price.
It got everything be it horror, comedy, action, stealth and so much more and still somehow it managed to not make a mess.
Story was great and I love Joker as much as I love Batman. Their synergy alone makes this game so much fun.

I think I need an artistic mind to understand what is going on here. Or maybe I am just too dumb.
Anyway the game is good-looking and has some good cutscenes.

EDIT: This game was nothing like anything I have ever played. What a unique concept!
I wasn't getting what was going on, but the last chapter brought it all together. The game design and the execution of the story by the devs team is really worth a praise.
I would say this is one of the most beautiful games I have ever played.
