Probably my favorite RGG Studios game.

Narrative-wise there are definitely weaks points in the story but the way we balance the two stories is well done to keep you engaged in each chapter.

Kiryu's story being the more developed and better paced but Ichiban has some of the best sub stories in the Yakuza series to date.

I enjoyed the evolution of the turn based combat and I was smiling cheek to cheek exploring Hawaii with the attention to detail and the new environment is such a breath of fresh air.

This is one of the best Yakuza games for sure although for sure not one you can just jump right into to really feel the weight of the story and callbacks.

short and sweet. wonderful gameplay with the weapon upgrades and variety of guns as well. story/writing was a lil lacking but it's story isn't anything too deep to garner much of a complaint tho the jokes could've been better.

an amazing story that unfortunately is boggled down by poor pc optimization.

i'm not big on having incredible high settings for my games so i was willing to look passed some of the performance issues and glitches but after what seemed like my 10th crash unwarranted by anything power heavy i had to take a break until the patches fixed the issues

after the 7th patch it still isn't near a smooth experience but it has improved from launch but i'd rather the game come out holiday season 2023 with little glitches and hiccups.

i would say buy it on consoles bc it's definitely a great story and a fun time when it's not dropping frames/stuttering

what can be said that hasn’t already

this is such a refreshing feel to the rhythm genre but also the adventure/hack n slash genre. controls feel snappy and satisfying when you pull off intense combos and still keep that rhythm going!!

visually hi-fi rush is stunning in its presentation and it never stops having fun going thru the intense high speed action

the story is tightly written with wonderful comic relief from everyone as well as a compelling story that wraps up nicely at the end

what an experience man

you’ll quickly realize wether you enjoy the gameplay or not but to my surprise i really enjoyed delivering and getting new tools to use every time a star was filled

story takes a bit considering everything is vague but once dots start connecting you can’t help but appreciate what kojima is doing in terms of innovating the way we experience stories/gameplay in this medium

a very fun albeit short game at launch!

can’t wait to see coming updates and the future of the game!!

had started this game twice on ps4/ps5 then had to start again bc i thought the hardest difficulty would be fun to try and boooy was that one of the most difficult things

but story n gameplay was so good can’t wait for ragnorak and how they go with handling atreus after everything! combat could get a bit repetitive when handling swarms of monsters but was never dull and was interesting finding new ways to fight enemies with different weapons plus atreus arrows

played during the free week trial and it was a nice surprise

i’ve never been a fan of games like the XCOM series n it may be just bc this simplifies it all down but after every match i found the gameplay to be more engaging/entertaining than other games from the same genre

the exploring was also fun albeit a bit linear tho

i tried it bc of all the talk around the game and it's just not my type of game
