There's so much good with this game, I just want to say that first. WIth that out of the way, because evrything else is so perfect, I gotta talk about its one weakness (other than the very obvious padding). This game does not have enough confidence with its own characters. It leans too much on fanservice at the very end and seemingly abandons its new cast in favor of bringing back EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER from the first game. On one hand, it was hella hype to have Neku as a party member. On the other hand, why not bring back Minamimoto? Or make Tsugumi a party member? The ending struggles to provide a satisfying conclusion to the story and instead acts as a cute, fanservicey, TWEWY cast reunion. Anyways game is perfect lol.
