a woman forced to be a tool of others and Spectres for her whole life manages to die in peace. passes herself on, or so she thinks :`( highly open ended (for ps2) levels with decent Survival and Hunger mechanics. Codec is quirkier, snake is autisticer. anime james bond without (MOST) of the bootlicking and misogyny. xray boobie Jiggle Physics that completely demolishes this point. the Boss gives me Gender Envy. NakedsnakejackBBjohn is hot. young DumbAss ocelot fell for him as well. nationalism and war is shallowly but effectively critiqued without soundign Preachy. EVA has a girlboss moment. Snake has a bigger girlboss moment becauwse of the aforementioned girlboss moment and becomes BB.

This is an amazing game with deliciously interlocking systems (and some entertaining useless ones that i still like), a lot of variety, a story structure that perfected the storytelling style of MG2 (idk why but same vibes) and autistic SEXY DILF snake that i honestly kin (only in this game tho) but idk i liked mgs1 better. STILL AN AMAZING FUCKING BIBO JAME, PUREI IT

boomer absurdist anarchism (/pos) masqueraded as a game about Anime Terrorists and Badbutt men and clones. the aged gameplay makes you FEEL like snake. the Bad ending is actually Good. kojima flexes his omorashi kink. i get Major Chills multiple times. probably the first time a videog*me properly critiqued war and eugenics. not even afraid to say "right-wing". can't stress this enough, the suicidal and/or nihilistic Anime Terrorists made me love them so fucking much!! the atmosphere and music are top-notch. play it. pls.

kiryu becomes an actual character, and i love him. dorky ass dad ass dumb ass hunk of muscleflesh himbo. i liked the orphanage sections a lot, so take that, tons of random commentors from 2009! okinawa was a great location, and this early-ps3 jank engine was far better utilized there than in kamurocho. also reminds me of my family's vacation place that holds lots of nostalgic brainspace for me, so... yeah. the gameplay was infuriating, and actually the combat was the least annoying part. the inventory management, time wasting encounters and useless walking around with loading screens when entering literally anywhere, etc. etc. got to like the halfway point and watched the rest on youtube and i'm glad i did, as i would've burned out and almost definitely hated everything about this game. the plot was pretty good in areas other than DILFmanprotagonist as well, villains weren't really developed but they were hateable (and likeable [in the finale]) enough. karaoke minigame debut also, so that's rough around the edges, but i like kamurocho lullaby.

unstable abusive lesbian AI makes her sub solve blueorange hole puzzles in eerily boring white source engine environments. wish there was even more dialogue, and the puzzles were actually disappointing, but still pretty good considering that it's like a small bonus thing from a 2007 (?) game bundle.

definitely not as good as it's hyped, but has a nice aesthetic and SEEEEX MUSIC, the characters, while extremely shallow, were still able to instill emotional reactions in me. the gameplay sucks tho imo, trials are far too long and the titular "bullet refutation" mechanic, along with the other action-y trial minigames, are just there to prolong the game and give a sense of false stress and challenge. the mysteries were fine, b-tier ace attorney cases. the tone is all over the place, which would normally be negative, but it adds to the game tbh. i would've given probably 3.5 stars or so but THAT scene in ch.2 made me so pissed off that i seriously considered dropping the game lol, if casually delivered but disgusting queerphobia is triggering for you, steer clear as almost nothing is worth seeing that, especially this game. still everything considered i liked it and will be playing the others

might've been really good with friends, although I was bored to death while playing it. i mainly wanted to play the expansions for the story, but i'm not willing to pay to skip ARR nor would i want to. around 40 hours and i'm not even halfway through the shitty storyline lol. i hate mmo gameplay so it's still a miracle that i stuck through for this long.
