Cait Sith... was a hero. I just couldn't see it. He was a...

...a thief! A criminal! He stole my keystone! He's a menace to the entire planet! I want the moogle-riding feline prosecuted! I want him strung up by his cape! I want Cait Sith!!”

"There was something disturbingly familiar about the note on the desk. The handwriting was all pretty curves."
"You're in a Rockstar game, Max."
"The truth was like a green crack through my brain. Unskipable cutscenes, and a mediocre plot. the repetitious act of watching a cutscene, going through linear corridors, shooting 50 guys, and then another cutscene. The paranoid feeling of knowing the game will crash if left paused for too long. I was in a Rockstar game. Funny as Hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think of."

Pretty good overall, but not for me I guess.
The combat is pretty good and the random encounters aren’t as annoying as some other SMT games, but I didn’t really care much for the aesthetics, soundtrack, and story, they’re all fine, but not good enough to keep me playing.

THE SHADOW REMAINS CAST!

YOU HAVE NO MOE!
VINE BOOM

This log and rating are only for The Answer.
Really appreciated how it doubles down on the themes and message of the base game instead of undermining it, the writing and cutscenes are still the best in the series.
As for the gameplay, it's a bit too long, too grindy, and too RNG-based, and that can make it really frustrating, but I still enjoyed it for the most part.
Anyway, pretty good follow-up, 8/10, better than Strikers.

If you don't close the game using Task Manager, it keeps playing Super Sonic Racing in the background.

There's nothing particularly wrong about this game, in fact, it's really well made. I was just kinda bored a lot of the time since it feels very derivative of most AAA open-world games, especially Ubisoft ones.

The ending was fantastic tho.
