this game made me cry because a blacksmith missed his mom

literally the only thing i remember about this game is that it taught me the phrase "milf"

i haven't recovered since i found out members of the dub cast also did voices on the Arthur cartoon

i never finished the game, so i never even saw the final level until many years later. maybe that was a good thing...

Majora's Mask is a game i grew up with -- that said, I was scared of monsters in videogames so I mostly hung around Clock Town and other areas I knew were pretty much safe.

Impending doom? Marital and familial issues? Oblivious children; adults who have lost all hope, or cling to it with mad fervour?

The thought of being stuck in a body that doesn't feel truly yours, and being treated differently because of that? Having to mask yourself, to pretend, all to get through the days?

Yeah nah, that was fine.

apologies. couldn't get far enough into the game bc the music grated on me too much to bear.
"Calling" is good though, I can concede that.

a charming and heartfelt game about a lil gator wanting to play with their big sister.

Press Button To Ragdoll.

I loved that they improved the Somniums and I love Ryuki and Tama's dynamic, but...wow. The writers really made shock twists just for the sake of making shock twists, and much of the narrative and characterisation suffers for it.
One character in particular suffers the brunt of it, that their story reveals appalled me enough to drop the game entirely.
Nirvana Initiative had the potential to be a truly great sequel. How did this happen?

A short romp, but an excellent one.

...Eat your vegetables.
