Played through it in one day. It's so fantastic at establishing mechanics and then getting you to apply them in new and unique ways. It is a simple concept with a good story, and absolutely blows away most other games of its type.
It's a really good game with a really good story. I liked it quite a lot. The combat is fun, but a bit one dimensional. You play the game for the story. Would 100% recommend.
Here is my brutally honest take: this game is too mean to the player. Not in a fun way, not in a "good game design way;" just in a cruel way. This game has no respect for the players time, and while that may be an appeal for many, it is a drawback for me. Especially after spending time with Eldin Ring, there are just too many flaws with the first title that a lot of people over look.
