2020

while i can appreciate this game for what it was trying to do, i was not always a fan of the execution and narrative choices. the clear inspiration it takes from the mother series feels amped up to an unnecessarily edgy level in comparison and less impactful as a result, but i am unfortunately not a fan of omocat and their work in general. that said, i’m glad this game was able to resonate with others.

could be a little dialogue heavy at times but with that said OOOO CUTESY PINK MAGICAL GIRL CREATURE COLLECTING SIGN ME UP

nothing i can say about this game’s strengths that's not already been repeated at nauseam, but it was a visually beautiful game with a memorable story. while motion controls of the time were divisive, teenage me loved drawing with the paintbrush!

was fun wish i had friends to play with

forever a game-changer, i was a teenager when i first played portal, and it definitely opened my mind to the creativity that different game mechanics can not only do, but do innovatively.

i would play this game just for the jean segments alone i’m not even kidding

installments developed years after a first games initial release are always bound to be divisive, but i felt the tonal changes weren’t incredibly intrusive to the nmh universe! wasn’t a huge fan of the updated character designs but i’m just nitpicking.

didn’t love the lack of open world but the things this game did keep from the first one we’re just more of a wonderful thing.

i just like funny anime johnny knoxville

the way this game somehow managed to keep up with the series cartoonish vibe while diving deep into the reality of loss and depression meant a lot to me personally. it made the themes relatable and easier to digest. forever a masterpiece.

wasn’t able to really appreciate it until i was older, but definitely one of the funnest and most memorable snes games i’ve played to this day!

a little lack luster when going back from later installments but still worth playing

the first zombie story in any medium i was able to get into, helped me appreciate the genre, and its story is definitely worth the praise it gets

astonished by how expansive this game turned out to be in story and world building and gameplay something something really feelin it

i’m sure ultimate is incomparable if you’re hard into fighting games but the series has definitely lost a lot of enjoyment for filthy casuals like myself as time has gone on. that said……..,,sora kingdomhearts
