Random Encounter is a decent RPG with a bit of turn-based elements, starts off pretty quick and it end fairly short.
But in the end it becomes a roguelike for no reason, and it was not meant to be that.

Story
So, as mentioned in the game that the events of first encountered didn't go so well so our hero is being sent to the future to kill mental. In the story you will find some kind of allies with the same wish as sam, fork parker sents sam there where he encounters them. Gregory and a damn cowboy that I forgot his name, the trio is after mental and they elso encounter ugh-zan III while mental tricked them to visit his temple and they didn't find him. So after the fight of ugh-zan the game ends.

Problems
If you fuck up the final boss, you fuck up your save.
you might start from 0, at the beginning or a random save so BEWARE this game is already a bit frustrating in 2 hours and might become a roguelike.

Conclusion
If you got the temper, got the time go play it that's all im gonna say, some guys will find this game to be easily abandoned.

Double D got me very surprised, initially I though that the side games of serious sam would be very unpleasant
storywise/gameplay but doubting again made me realize how good it is.

Gameplay
A platform shooter with unique abilities and variety of levels in 3 acts of the game, I'm reviewing the remaster version of double d and to be honest I was very surprised that this game got a remaster from the same devs that made the original in 2011. A very unique mechanic is how you can upgrade your weapons and combining everything in a gun shack seems amazing to me, and also so many new enemies were added to change the classic ones to provide variety and the jump pad must be the most useful thing in the whole game, alongside with the CO-OP mode.

Story
The gameplay is fine as heck, so what about the story?
Sam is being sent back in the ancient egypt being informed about mental's reinforcements operated by General Maxilla.
Netricsa was a bit in clouds thinking that sam already killed mental but that was a lie told by sam, in the first map your boss is a huge chimputee, after killing the boss sam finds a crystal that needs to be investigated by netricsa but it had to be destroyed by sam.
Sam was teleported to somewhere in canada (lol) but in a ancient time, after destroying the first crystal sam encounters with a huge female biomecha but upon destorying the crystal it does not teleport sam, weird enough another boss approaches that being a huge hamster known to be mental's one and again sam wins and gets teleported to pompeii, where a huge vulcano is about to start erupting and he finds out immediately that mental's force are there so there must be a plan there. While the vulcano is erupting huge fireballs are dropping from the air but sam is being saved from a large fly while being chased by lava golems. After that Netricsa tolds sam that mental's evil plan is about the vulcano and sam had to escape. After escaping and going to the surface he meets general maxilla the leader of mental's army. While he's being challanged by the general to fight him for the last time while the general sent his army to kill him, funny enough the general sucked in battle but he summoned double diva, a giant female with a big knife a large boots. Upon killing her sam gets the last crystal and the game ends.

Conclusion
Underrated, if you love platform shooters you gotta try this.
Currently as of writing this I'm trying to play all the non-canon SS games on steam so yeah this was a good discovery.

Kamikaze Attack is the most simplistic serious sam game ever, recently I decided to play all the available SS games on steam and picked up most of them.

Gameplay
A simplistic platform scroller with the main objective of blowing up the man himself, serious sam. Though it was a bit addicting and frustrating but you can do a 100% in one playthrough, watching out for rockets and avoiding bombs is all to the gameplay, you have also some kind of a jungle dlc so you can have the first encounter in egypt and serious sam 2 in the jungle themed one. You can also customize your kamikaze and abusing the hell out of the meter while jumping in the air.

Conclusion
Very simple, not unique in any point but alright if you want to play all the games out of boredom.

SOR 4 is my first sor game and their newest release is amazing, a good beat em up.

Gameplay
Good visuals nice shading and the stages are not getting repetitive with each new mark on the city, 12 stages with each final boss at the end. Sadly I had to play this game at a lower volume due to not owning headhphones at my school and yes I finished this game at my school when I had freetime. 3 hours is all you need for this game even with extra content after you finished the game, heard the soundtrack and it rocks and can't wait to play the others on fighcade, mostly played with blaze and max.

Conclusion
Could not understand so much of the story being this one the first game that I played but the last 2 bosses at the castle were a bit tough, but traversing through the city and beating people in 12 stages is enough to say that this game has unique graphics and nice levels and combos to learn.

Content Warning is another masterpiece made by landfalls, every april fool day I'm being expected to have a game from these devs and they always deliver. Yet this one could be the biggest one in numbers because it's a lethal company parody, but... better? personally I had more fun with this one compared to the original lethal company even if the gameplay is almost the same, even the formula of counting days is stolen from lethal but here you need to get ad revenue and views not scrap metal but that only in 72 hours.

Gameplay
Grab 4 strangers or friends and film something unique by going underground to find the most abyssal stuff ever. Diving in the void you have one cameraman and you can actually record what you are doing while exploring a factory or anything else. For a first person perspective the game feels a bit clunky with the movement but hey the devs are being known for such movement in their games. Your goal is to capture funny or creepy scenes while you are down there, by doing so you can convert the recording into a real film and you can watch it in the hub with your mates, you have upgrades as well for like flashlights or even hugs for medicine lol. Also the random seeds are here too, you can find weapons to stun enemies if you encounter them and bigger flashlights.

Conclusion
For me personally it feels a tid better than lethal, not a 5/5 but yeah. It blew up being free for 24 hours and it took me 2 hours of in-game time to write this while playing with strangers and a friend of mine. The idea of filming the gameplay while hearing yourself and the people around you is something cool. 200k players peak is insane man, as of now (4/5/2024) the game has over 60k active players at eastern time so yeah, can't believe that it was a free game for one day and after that it exploded in popularity and that for a good reason.

Helldivers 2 might be the second birth of christ, well that feels too exaggerated to say the least but this game kicked off 2024 with an awesome bang.

Gameplay
A third person shooter that is based around extraction missions in a first galactic war sci-fi themed atmoshpere, localizing planets and getting a squad ready to exterminate cyborgs, terminds, and the Illuminate. You have a variety of weapons and customization for your soldier, this game gives me the vibes of battlefront 2 (either the old or the new) and a bit of deep rock galactic, but in this game you actually feel that you contribute to something. And the gameplay does not get boring because it is not starfield where you get bored immediate when seeing another planet that is a copypaste. In this game you have a ship that is yours and there you can change armory and select planets on where to go and having objectives all the time while fighting for freedom by capturing certain zones and collecting samples, and a very unique reviving system that also can be applied to call supplies and special artillery, or even a huge mecha droid.

Conclusion
While writing this (4/1/2024) is my second day playing the game and exploring various difficulty levels in-game, this game yet again shows how small devs can bring something that connects everyone including new friendships. I swear, if this game came out in the pandemic instead of among us it would've been better than ever! this game embraces the democracy and freedom in a spatial war with great features and graphics and that makes me happy as a sci-fi enjoyer, also make sure you have a decent PC, my specs are mostly from 2019 but do not get tricked by the minimum requirements, even newer builds suffer while trying to run this game and this thing happens to me but that does not stop me from fighting for LIBERTY, AND DEMOCRACY

This review contains spoilers

Kept you waiting, huh?
One hour opening to the mgsv, an extraction mission to rescue paz and chico, and yes SPOILERS paz has a second bomb and the motherbase has been invaded at the end, it went boom basically. After you rescue miller you find out about paz's second implant and there goes the game, fading in the hospital cutscene.

Don't bother getting this one with the hope of being full of content, although you have some cassets to collect and a hard difficulty but that's about it, if you finished it under 2 hours you can refund it. You better get mgsv definitive edition

Arkham Asylum is another blast from the past in the action genre. Recently got the trilogy for cheap and to be honest I had fun with the first arkham game, it wasn't short or long for 10 hours of fun. I'm not a huge DC fan because I grew up with marvel and that might sound controversial but I don't hate this game or the batman series keep that in mind.

Gameplay
More than decent, you get a lot of gadgets and a detective mode to find where to go next. Examples are the batclaw, sequencer, gel, batarang and the list goes on. With plenty combat and health upgrades comes a good stealth game with variety and style. It's not so stealth focused but you have to keep in mind that some enemies have guns and they can easily take you down. As for the atmosphere it's great since you are in a asylum and the design is not repetitive and the game has some kind of open world not like arkham knight but you can freely collect green riddles and other collectible stuff like interviews on tapes. For a third person action it's not the easiest game, for someone who is not familiar with the arkham games you can choose between difficult levels but the combat oh man, that's the sweet spot for this game... The combat for me is no doubts good, perfect for a stealth game even if you think you killed them they are only sleeping because I guess that's a rule.

Story
Batman captures joker and takes him into the asylum where is gang is waiting for him, a breakout happens when joker's men are taking over the whole asylum and harley quinn helpes him. Batman must stop joker but he also got James Gordon, the father of oracle and at first he's captured with officer boles (myeah) joker released some of his gang ready to take on batman. Searching for oracle's father is not easy because going in the morgue he finds scarecrow, giving batman PTSD from his past when his parents where killed by a thug. After that batman gets out and goes outside of the asylum trying to rescue some doctors but he also mets bane, luckily his car saves him after the fight. Some time later batman tells oracle about a batcave underground where he can examine something after he found out that dr young was involved about a formula including a venom that creates tough guys called titans. After another encounter with scarecrow batman encounters quinn again, after she gave him a time limit to save some innocents batman follows her where he was lead to fight some thugs behind an electric floor. Moments after he finally gets quinn and put her in jail but she made ivy free from her cell. She discovered joker's plan in the gardens and she knew that underground where croc lives is a plant connected to the titan formula. Batman gets down and running away while collecting spores and blowing up a hole to stop croc from chasing him. Joker really though that making crane more powerful with young's formula is a smart idea but that didn't work out, he even used the formula on his thugs. Batman had to make an antidote to reverse the effects of the titan formula, going back to his cave and after that fighting Ivy for the last time since she took over with her plants. She was injected with the venom and batman fought her and got out and so joker knew that he was impossible so at last he invited batman to his party in order to get him but things didn't got smooth because he fought his titan thugs and then joker injected himself and taking on batman. Bat used the claw to drag joker down and finish him off and after that rescuing Gordon and saving gotham.

Tehnical problems
Modern headsets suck, they force you to use their shitty software and their built-in usb speaker and some games don't even support that. So I had to play the whole game with a different headset with realtek speakers, so beware of this.

Conclusion
Goated game for his time and worth the cheap penny, outdated? nope, 2009 and still has a hard penis for all of his characteristics.

Emily Too Is my favorite of all of them, the weakest one being the third having so many chances and features with interaction but still missing something to make it unique.

Gameplay
Although very similar to the first game but that does not change the story, you still have all the nice secrets with the profile pictures, a nice addon that was removed from the latest game by the way and still feeling the same as the first one but now you can chat with more people and even with some of the easter eggs, this game added the external sites that looked like the old youtube and facebook.

Story
Not very different from the third one, not in the same universe but some of the people are being presented here. Again a romance story between you and emily, you can choose evelyn but that is considered to be the bad ending. Again this game has no twist and it's only between you and emily talking about the future after high school, and you two get together after her break up.

Conclusion
This perfected the first game, making it more unique and adding new stuff into it. Sadly the third had the chance to do something new but it failed, anyways I completed all the achievements and one thing if you want the secret achievement here's a guide

Emily <3 Is a decent game at best, the plot gets very boring through the game IMO, but it has decent features that makes this game a time travel machine at best.

Gameplay
Very interactive gameplay with nostalgic value elements, the game is a literal parody to facebook. The developers were not joking and they even made special sites clickable only through the game that looked like old media stuff back from 2008. In this game you talk to people and check the news feed and that's all. It gets very boring after sometime because you will play a full 4 chapters that are 1 hour each, you can check profiles see pictures and stuff like what facebook is today.

Story
AIM is dead, a social network that you and your classmates talked in the beginning of high school. It's a teenager romance story between you and a girl called Emily, you talk with people and attend parties, things get emotional when you have feelings for Emily and after high school everything ends between you and her because college separated every plan. The first 2 chapters are boring, only 3 and 4 are somewhat good because you start to stalk emily out of jealousy to find stuff about her friend called jeff helped by a mate of yours called matt.

Conclusion
You want teenage years? go outside, yeah I wish i told myself that eariler lol but seriously this game feels tiring as fuck after sometime but it is a pretty long game for a conversation simulator and if you feel the energy you could try it.

BONUS STAR FOR MENTIONING PENDULUM

[Free weekend review]
MK1 the reboot seems very familiar with MK11, graphically speaking it's very comparable to MK11 but it runs worse and MK11 ran at high/ultra but anyways downloading a 124 gig game only for 2 chapters it ain't worth the time, a very short demo of what the game is at the beginning. The story goes after the events of Kronika, and Liu Kang uses the the hourglass to recreate the universe. The first chapter you play as Kung Lao and you are being tested by smoke,sub-zero,scorpion for the championship so you can join Liu Kang. In the second one you play as indiana jones johnny cage, fighting in a jungle temple but it was only a cinematic recorded video, later on you are being tested by sub-zero and scorpion in cage's house.

Conclusion
It's not worth it, heard some people say shit about the premium feature being pay2win and for 124 gigs only for some gamemodes its not worth the wait only to play with some friends and that's all.

Neighbours back From Hell is a great remaster from the classic, different from the original because back when I had the game as a child I remember you had a time limit to do your stuff. If you want to play even the second game well it's all packed up here for you.

Story
You are woody, a character that looks like he came from a TV show ready to prank his neighbor for the viewer entertainment.
In 3 seasons you will come to your neighbor house and make his life a living hell.

Gameplay
This game is very interactive, you have to figure out what items you need to have and where to use them around his house. You will have different days where the neighbor will either celebrate his birthday or do fitness or even a BBQ. Each level has different routes and items and it's not a repetitive game, you will encounter his pets as well. His parrot and his dog where you need to be stealthy to move on, after completing levels some rooms are gonna be accessible like his basement or the last floor where the bedroom is.

Conclusion
If you either want to play the first game or the second you can get them both here, as of now I only finished the first game and it was hella fun, sometimes I was confused on where to put some items but thats for the gold coins if you want them all to do a 100% completion.

Nocturnal Missions are not the best, well compared to the mainstoryline episodes. These 3 episodes are before the first ep, so therefore are prequels.

Gameplay
They don't bring new guns or something, only new maps with reskinned bosses mostly.

Story
Hitler's men are trying to create a new chemical project and so the main scientist behind all of this is Otto Giftmacher, your journey is to kill him and that's E4, dark secret.
In E5 our protagonist is searching for the plans for the chemical project, while searching BJ finds Gretel Grosse the sister of Hans, which is a reskin and the guardian of the plans and that's E5 known as trail of the madman.
At last, E6 is the last in the nocturnal trilogy and you need to find general fatface, who is the project holder behind this project and that's all about E6, confrontation.

Conclusion
If you want to play wolf 3D in the chronological order you can start with the nocturnal missions, but personally I found this trilogy to be weaker than 1-3 but a little reminder in E6M8. Don't rush, collect ammo and health and get a chain gun earlier don't be like me if you play on a harder difficulty.

Wolf 3D for the time is a 5/5, a classic that I rarely touched when I was younger, from id Software I got to play mostly doom 1 and 2 and quake, even played eternal and 2016 but never touched the wolfenstein series. The original game was a home computer with stealth based mechanics, a pretty simple game at the time called Castle Wolfenstein.

Gameplay
The game serves with 6 episodes that are 10 levels each, the main storyline is involved about the first 3 eps, and the rest are some kind of prequels. Wolfenstein is the father of doom, a first person game about shooting nazi soldiers, in this game you have the knife, the pistol, smg, and the beloved chain gun.
Wondering in the first levels you can collect jewellery for your personal score getting points, after each level you get an extra live and if you waste all of them you begin at the first level of the episode. Id Software had other games with the raycasting engine, but this one was their big hit if we are not gonna include catacombs 3d which was the first game that had this modern raycasting engine in it. Just like doom this game has a lot of modding, name brutal mods or even ultra hd graphics pack even some ongoing projects at the current time of writing this review though the dos version of this game is pretty clunky and it does not feel that good so if you encounter problems with the game please try installing gzdoom and ecwolf.

Story
The story is about William "B.J." Blazkowicz, a captured american by the nazis in the dungeons, BJ's plan is to escape and collect intel about their plans while escaping. Eventually he got out by taking a knife and killing a guard and that's how E1M1 starts, shortly you get a pistol and a submachine gun and at the end you fight with Hans, a huge man with dual wield chain guns that drops a key to the underground of their base. The second episode we got the manufactured nazi soldiers, that's doctor doctor schabbs hand to create a mutant zombie army for the 4th reich, so by going underground and fighting with those machines you finally get to stop schabbs and end his plan. In the 3rd episode you get to end the fuhrer himself in his fuhrerbunker in berlin, you take the fight and prepare your chain gun because now it's the time to end it all, as the game is set on 1945 you already know this is the end, after fighting with some soldiers and some kind of vampires you take the golden key and you fight with adolf, he has a robotic armor but that does not stop you from watching his deathcam and a last avidazen and your goal is completed. Escape from castle wolfenstein, operation eisenfaust and die fuhrer are the main trilogy of the episodes, you still have some prequels and spear of destinity but that's all. Might play the rest of the extra content and will call it a day.

Edit
Welp after finally finishing I AM DEATH INCARNATE on my second playthrough I canl give y'all some tips to survive this difficulty, strafing around the edges of doors can sometimes work, but if you only see the soldiers arm they won't take damage, and again KEEP the DISTANCE, you can knock everyone if you take a bit of distance. If you are closer to the enemies your health will go from 100 to most likely 45 in seconds, and also reflexes when you find yourself in a tight corner (that's mostly ep2) and won't blame anyone for using quicksaves because if you are not careful you can run out of lives quickly. One more thing tho, always watch your back. AN I MEAN THAT, there can be always an officer or guard there. There will be rooms filled with SS, so make sure you kill them first because they take longer to kill and head back to make some distance. Don't waste your ammo on dogs, always use the knife while you stand in one place because they will come after you. The officers can be a bit tricky in the third episode, there's plenty of them and you will hear SPION! a lot of times, they can spook you but my far the worst enemies are the mutants, miniguns in their guts and PLENTY of them in the second episode, don't worry too much about ammo and health. I didn't used frequently secrets because I found supplies randomly after I cleaned a room, again the bosses are not rigged imo, hans is easy to beat because in the left corner if I believe you can find a secret that gives you supplies and that's for doctor schabbs as well but without secrets, by killing the mutants before you encounter him you will have ammo standing there if you need, and behind him there's health so pick that up. And to be honest, hitler was the most easiest one of all of them, it has 2 phases right but you get the chain gun when you first enter the level and that's again pretty op, the only annoying part must be the vampires...Ugh those fireballs suck man, while fighting hitler you have supplies in his room and if you use auto run you will find that spot quickly believe me, and that's all. Replayed the game 1-3, I will not replay 4-6 because the nocturnal prequels suck in my opinion with their soft locks. Have fun

Journey is fantastic, a short experience from 2012? can't believe it's that old, it looks impressive and it felt good for a 2012 title. It's worth the shot, in some video games you don't need high difficulty or endless dialogues to enjoy it, the simplistic formula can be applied anywhere if you know how to build it.

Gameplay
This game offers beautiful graphics and unique places. You start to be around level 0 in a desert but you will fight even in the underground to get up again, this game has some parkour elements but they are easy. By the help of the red carpets you can climb and fly, the change of pace is interesting and that's what makes this game unique, again it takes about 2 hours to finish this game or 1h30 because this game does not need more content and it's perfect on how it is.

Story
The story is driven by gameplay mechanics and visual cutscenes, you start in the desert reaching far to see the mountain you need to climb up, there's a a lighting in the top and so you take the journey from the dune and then to the depths and back to the surface in the winter only to reach your destination. In the game you will be chased by a monster that you meet in the half percentage of the game, personally the story gave the lesson on never giving up because at some point you are dying of freezing but some creatures that are at your side help you fly, yet again your identity is hidden and the only things that help you are red carpets, and you are one as well. Some people may say that this game is death stranding but it's not.

Conclusion
It's worth to play it and finish it in one day, but you gotta be in the mood for this one. When you feel tired and want something to relax yourself reach out to this game, it will be amazing.
