Builder's Journey is a wholesome relaxing puzzle game with lego bricks with the journey of two characters, a son and a father.

Gameplay
Fairly easy puzzle game, a bit satisfying and it has decent bricks interactions and it's short like 2 hours so give it a try if you want to.

Story
It's about a son and a father, together they explore and build stuff to get across rivers and such, in the end you have to find your father who left for work in his factory and a robot helps you find him by doing simple puzzles.

Conclusion
A short fun experience from 5 years ago with a decent story and not hard puzzles, if you feel comfortable you might as well try it anytime.

Palworld for me seems to be a childish idea with a unrealistic approach to the open world survival games, that's my personal take on it but was it really that bad?

Gameplay
Pretty simple, if you ever played a single survival game It's pretty straight forward when it comes to menus and crafting n such, gunning is alright but the game seems to be very silly when you combine cute pokemons and guns, sure the open world is alright with different lands and it feels a bit like a rpg with the dungeons implementation, overall not bad for a third person survival game but nothing too fancy either.

Technical issues
I'm running the 0.1.2.0 version and it has some stutter issues but It's logic for the current version, encountered some bugs but not major ones so It's alright.

Conclusion
For a pokemon fan or a open world genre fan this game could be awesome for several hours, playing singleplayer is pretty boring and I got bored when I had only one hour into the singleplayer world, the game gives me Creativerse vibes and that's another survival game that had potential but it died pretty quick in 2016.

Oh man, shit I don't know where to start with this one.
It's been 6 years since this game launched, okay logically for PC users it's been only 5 years, not too long ago to be honest but I got my time to play this game and finish the main storyline of it and man... I know my reviews are very different from this one because mostly I'm engaged to explain the story of the game but in this one I'm changing some things.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a masterpiece, really I have no words for this game. The nature is perfect, the plot is amazing, the characters are unique in their way and everyone has a backstory.
I remember playing Red Dead Revolver, a very underrated game mainly because GUN was the superior in ranking, an old PS2 game that was quite nice for it's time, and was wondering about RDR2, knowing that it's a prequel to RDR1 I should give it a shot and see what's about the hype behind it, and so I did.

Gameplay
It's very smooth, the gun play is the same as Max Payne 3 and GTA 5 but with the wild west gun theme, the nature is freaking incredible and the details are highly written, this game got delayed but it got delayed for the good, there's so much to do after you finish the storyline you wouldn't imagine, the amount of replayability weights TONS, I know people finishing the game in their first playthrough and wanted to replay it immediately after, this is the 5 star rating, the NPC interactions the open world... There's so much to say but you gotta play the game first.

Story
You f*cking kidding? I'm not a criminal, so will get only the short side of things about this game.
You are Arthur Morgan, an outlaw in the wild west in the year 1899 so in the end times of the era, you and your bandit group leaded by Dutch van der Linde are doing illegal stuff around towns but you are watched by the law and some corrupted criminals group, and in the end you learn what loyalty really meant in this whole plot and how saving lives matter and then resting peacefully while watching the sun.

That sums up the story in the short term, I do recommend to keep your honor up so you can get the best ending out of it. Well fuck it, I spoiled the major plot even by trying to sum it up shortly.

In the end
This video game is about friendship and betrayal and redemption at last, every gang member has it's own unique story on how they become outlaws even some of them were forced because of orphanage or they lost everything.
Looking forward to RDR1, so they can port it to the PC.

Sara is Missing is a shorter game compared to SIMULACRA but it felt more realistic.

Story
You found a girl's phone and you are suddenly getting messages from an AI called Iris, she's guiding you through the game but you have to solve minor puzzles so you can unlock apps and later on find out what happened. Then you find from a friend of Sara about a satanic cult and you know that she was kidnapped and tortured alongside her friend Faith. Then you are talking with James that tries to help Sara but he fails and then you talk with a member of the satanic cult giving you a link to red tube to share, if you share it Sara dies and you get the bad ending but if you wait a couple of minutes a guy by the name of Irizu will message you and will let you choose between Faith and Sara, if you want to do the right thing you gotta choose Faith so you can rescue Sara.

Bonus
Personally it felt more realistic than Simulacra, they really made some of the characters wear make up to look bloody and realistic, and overall the vibe of the game is very different even this is more of a prototype for the next games.

Has a problem with the audio, while playing the game is muted and tried some tricks with windows default software but that didn't work, and that ruins my experience with the game and could not find a proper fix to it, only the recorded cutscenes have sound for a reason.

(thinking it's because of my headset's driver)

Simulacra is anticlimactic, cheesy, easily forgettable, low budget effects mess.

Story
Finding a woman's phone by the name of Anna you try to figure out what happened by finding videos of her being desperate and later on speaking with guys who dated her and some tinder crybabies, the story is the most forgettable thing ever.
Later on you find about this kind of virus named SIMULACRA and it took you this amount of time by finding names, sites, stalking people and solving some kind of messages and at last impersonate her to talk with the antagonist named James while her ex Greg gets in trouble with the police and Taylor is having a crysis, other than that you speak with your best friend Ashley and some creep at work called Murv, and yeah you talk with Yolanda and Cassie for informations and such by finding out informations and at the end you talk with ANNA what is not really her and you get your phone cracked and you get 1 of 4 endings depending on how you behaved and choose answers.

Gameplay
Scrolling, writing, and exploring the phone made the it realistic IMO, the devs really knocked this one great but in the end that's really it, would not play the remaining entries in the TRILOGY but might try SIM (Sara is Missing) because I heard good stuff about it.

Gameplay is very smooth, the stinger is weird, is optimized well and has chapters.
That's like first impressions, made a 5 minute video worth of gameplay after the gate opened so if you are curious on how it looks you can check it out, I beg god that capcom will not fuck this game up.

Review might change on time, now the game is alright

Buckshot is a interesting game, didn't know how complex is the russian roulette with this type of strategies in mind.
A very short game with unique ways to save yourself from the devil, the developer went on a dream making this one lol.

Bonus
Really wish the dev would make more content with this one, felt like a late night movie binge but oh well atleast the atmosphere is there.

Mortal Kombat 11 really is a satisfying fighting game but ton of content even if you play the klassic towers or the normal story.

Gameplay the movement feels very smooth and nice and it has lots of gore, new combos and more customization to your character. Something that I didn't mention is the leveling up system that is pretty alright and you can easily earn up some XP by playing the singleplayer, in additional things tho the klassic maps dlcs are very cool and even adding new characters like Rambo or Robocop.

Story For me once again personally this does not include a really memorable storyline for a game this short, and the price of it does not help either. Just like the sequel dlc, aftermath, it feels too short to say the least. You can get it way cheaper now on steam for like 10 euros with all the dlcs, the game is more than 100 gigs just because of the side content not mainly because of the story but for a game like this is really just like MK10 it's short and you can forget about it pretty quick, with the aftermath expansion you get 12 chapters and another extra 5 so yeah 17.
The story takes part after 2 years and the antagonist is a female by the name of Kronika, can't really justify anything else but the only thing that I remember is that revenants are back.

Conclusion If you want a short game with tons of content you can get MK10 or MK11, again if you want to be engaged in the story feel free to do so but this game died quickly so that's why the price went down a lot on sales.

Mortal Kombat XL is a great fighting game when it comes to characters and abilities, I was never into the MK story because the other MK games that I played was 1,2,4 and 11.

Gameplay the game takes into 12 chapters with different arenas and locations, here you are gonna find iconic characters from the retro arcade ones but with different changes, you get a lot of combos and character unlockables and you can actually make a faction. It also has multiple gamemods to play around and the XL edition can be found fairly cheap on 3rd party sites for extra DLCs.

Story again, the cutscenes were cool but if you want a good MK when it comes to story you could play deadly alliance, it's a short game if you want to binge it in one day. but the story in MK10 takes place 25 years after MK9 and it's mainly focused on Shinnok and Quan Chi as antagonists.

Bonus I watched the MK movies but they are not canon in this timeline so yeah, the first MK movie is more related to the older games about Liu-Kang fighting his way out to avenge his younger brother by defending Shang Tsung, never watched documentaries about the new lore in the new universe with the revenants because I found it to be boring.

Superhot can be a very tricky game but learning the game layout and the enemy position is the only way to progress through the game and that's why I love it so much, it reminds me about similar games (Hotline Miami, Party Hard, 12 is Better Than 6, OTXO, RED HOT VENGEANCE) Which are mostly top down shooters, this game is 8 years old and I was young when it came out and had some skill issue not knowing how to play it properly but now I decided to finally give it a shot and finish it.

Story At first you don't learn about any story, it's more of a narrative and dialogue game, your friends shares this game with you in the message box and you start to play it. Basically you are a some kind of AI controlled by a virus to get your mind and transform you into malicious artificial intelligence. And the devs are trying to stop you but it does not work correctly at the end when your quest is to control it by teleporting, but at the end you are shooting an obese character that is supposed to be the player who controls the in-game one.

Gameplay being more engaged in the gameplay rather the story behind it personally, it has slow motion gunning and fast thinking position in a first person game, back then this was something unusual and kind of new at the time.

Bonus the launcher can save your frag clips in the levels, you can finish it in one seat if you got the reflexes to do so, it also has a sequel and a VR version which is pretty interesting.

GTA IV Is the somewhat a better version of GTA V, other than that the story is pretty cool if you understand it correctly.

In comparison The physics of GTA 4 are way better than GTA 5, even the combat system is very complex and personally the story about revenge is something that GTA 5 could not achieve. The combat in 4 is a bit harder, the car controls are difficult but the motorbikes are the worse.

Story Our protagonist is a bosnian ex-soldier by the name of Niko Bellic seeking the American Dream and the revenge to kill Darko Brevic, our main character was lied by his cousin Roman Bellic that he was very wealthy in the fictional city of New York known as Liberty City but in fact he was almost in bankruptcy and his life was only about his taxi company. Niko tries to get used in the city but then he's aware of Roman's unpaid money. Niko only wanted to forget about his criminal life and eliminate Darko for what he did 10 years ago. Our protagonist life in Liberty City transforms into a henchman lifestyle after he killed Vlad, a man who tried to ditch roman by dating Mallorie a girl who Roman loved. After that our character is doing jobs with guys who are in organized crimes, the most important one being Dimitri Rascalov, after Niko killed Faustin everything changed about Dimitri, he started to chase Niko and tried to kill him in a warehouse but this time Niko had some help with Little Job, a jamaican drug addict.
After the warehouse fight Roman's apartament went on fire with his company as well and Mallorie decided to help him and Niko and so they moved to Bohan and work with Elizabeta Torres for some money. In that time Niko met with Manny a greedy rapper who was always an asshole and Playboy-x a man who got along with Niko but immediately changed after Dwayne came back from the jail, our character gets to choose who to kill because both of them are in a conflict but they use Niko as a hitman for their service. (if you kill dwayne you get 25k dollars, if you kill playboy you get his penthouse and a little easter egg that contains Claude's clothes) After that you get to make Torres last mission, since her drug dealings was discovered by NYPD, in a rush she killes Manny and you need to get his body with the camera man as well to a doctor. Eventually Michelle betrays you and you find out that she's a secret agent by the real name of Karen. After finishing United Liberty Paper missions you no longer speak with her and you don't get in trouble with the FIB. Now you get along with McReary family mostly with Packie and Francis, and you meet Packie's sister by the name of Kate. Packie used to work with Liz and his missions are related to drugs and a heist. Francis is a corrupted cop that wants one of his family member dead, after finishing his missions you get to choose if you want to kill Derick or him (killing francis gets you no wanted option on free roam) and the last one is Gerry, for him you have to kidnap a girl by the name of Gracie that is a daughter of a italian mob. Now you only have to do Pegorino's missions, you meet with him by doing Packie's missions. You also have missions with Phil and Ray, both of them are working with Pegorino and after you finish their missions you get tho choose between revenge and deal. Personally revenge was my choice because I really wanted to kill Dimitri, before killing him you get to meet Darko and Florian, you avenge your dead friends by killing Darko and after that you can choose your 2 options. Choosing Revenge and killing Dimitri makes Jimmy Pegorino mad because he wanted a big profit out of Dimitri's deal and that makes him kill Kate. Mallorie and Roman are getting married finally but then Pegorino shows up killing Kate and then running away in a car but luckily Jacob knew how to find Pegorino and he called Niko to chase him down and eventually killing him and then the story ends.

Bonus Talked enough of gameplay up there in the comparative part, this has to be one of the best GTAs ever. As of now I'm trying to replay GTA 5 since the last time I finished it. Always wanted to play 4 but the PC port is god awful and without modding it can't be playable.

Max Payne 3 Simply a masterpiece in the third person action world of gaming, with a redeeming point of our protagonist.

Story Payne was just hangin' around in New Jersey but his alcoholic addiction started to kick in it really hurt the character's mental stability, everyone would understand Max's reason why is doing this if you played the other games. Drinking his whole life in one bar but one night a group of unhinged teens came in the bar shouting out words that made Max feel like trash inside but he knew that he could not do anything about it since he was a former NYPD detective. In the bar a former student of the police academy came in recognizing Max since both of them took similar studies.
A bar fight started with our protagonist and his friend Raul Passos, eventually one of the kids got shot and the others in the group started the whole horde of gun blazing around. Escaping with Raul our protagonist finds out what happened exactly about that kid and how he took his life and made a heartbreaking moment for his father. The father ordered gunners to hunt Max and Raul, after escaping Max realized what he did back there, the same feeling he had when his daughter was killed by those junkies. Raul takes a opportunity to ask Max if he wants to move on and hire him as a bodyguard in São Paulo. Max knew that his whole life in Hoboken was drained apart, he accepted the offer and together they became bodyguards to protect Fabiana Branco.
Branco's family is a very wealthy in brazil, our protagonist knew that he needed something to stop thinking about his traumatic past. The family was targeted by gangsters, eventually after they kidnapped Fabiana their journey started to find her and bring her back. But they failed... Max knew how wanted he was so he became a skinhead to change his appearance. Getting the intel that Fabiana was somewhere in Favela started his own mission and hope to save her. Her husband was dead but that did not stop Max to rescue her, he was too late to the party Serrano already took care of her. Fighting his way out surrounded by cops, Nova Esperança wanted Max dead, it was their target. Max finds Giovanna and rescues her, later on Raul left brazil and let Max alone to finish his journey. Payne had to take down Becker since he was a corrupt commander and friends with Victor Branco, he was the second antagonist. Max goes rampage mode to find him in a police station but he fails to kill Becker, later on learning that Victor Branco was behind Sao and the kidnapping of Fabiana, rushing in a train being shot from all the sides Payne gets out of the train and he takes down Becker and then his friend Dave came with a car and helped Payne chase Victor and eventually blowing him up.

Bonus Wow, I remembered more stuff than about the story compared to Max Payne 2, anyways some parts I think uhh I missed in the story but the important ones like the airport chase and the beginning was alright, if you want a game FULL and I mean FULL of action and guns blazing around you should try this game or maybe start with the first one.

Gameplay The novel story writing isn't there anymore since this game was planned by mostly Rockstar and Remedy contributed but this game does not contain puzzles or anything like that, a straigh up third person only aboun gunning everyone in your face with slow motion and it keeps the atmosphere of the other games in this trilogy.

Max Payne 2 Is a great sequel, people may say that is way shorter than expected but personally it took more to finish it compared to Max Payne 1.

Gameplay It's not a big difference, max's skin has changed to James's face to connect the character with the voice actor and so it's no longer Sam Lake, I think it's the same engine but a bit improved and redesigned. You get new weapons like my favorite being the kalashnikov, the level design is still very interesting and the novel story writting does not get old. Chapter 4 is the most goofy and unexpected to happen in a max payne game.

Story Max cannot pass his past about his family and so he got back to his detective job and he was investigating a warehouse owned by one of his friends named Vlad that is a russian mob that owns the mentioned warehouse full of cleaners but really they are all criminals. Max gets a full PTSD episode from the hospital where you can see one of his partener valerie winterson being dead. After going forward to inspect the situation about these HITMEN cleaners max finds a girl by the name of Mona Sax trying to help him but she was on the wanted list and max had to choose if he wants to join her so he can finish the case or not. Further in the story Mona was along Vlad and he wanted her to eliminate Payne and get out of his partener bounding. But something Vlad didn't know is that both of them got attached together in a some kind of relationship. Sure Mona betrayed max in the construction site but even after that she had some emotions for Max. After rescuing Vinnie and then learning the truth about Vlad everything went on fire knowing how Vlad planned this to happend and so he destroyed the building that Max was in.
Mona rushing to save him and getting out of the burning building they had to end Vlad forever. Going to his mansion fighting the guards and then meeting with Vlad finally giving the last straw after finding out that Mona betrayed him and immediately shooting her. Max following Vlad while the explosives were going ON destroying the basement he reaches Vlad and then a high ground fight starts. Vlad was on a chandelier while Max was on ground trying to dissemble the wires that hold Vlad. After eventually finishing the job and killing Vlad falling down to his death Max finds out mona dead on the floor while the cops are rushing to the building and so the story ends.

Bonus Really tried to remember the story but it very complex compared to the first game, writing this on a phone was not a very pleasant experience but oh well. When I think about Max Payne 2 I think about Halo 4's story and the final twist after rolling the credits lmao, for me this story is quite forgettable but replaying it might help me refresh my brain a bit.

Also, might start to add games that I played during the last month of 2023 and marking it as Played on 2024 so yeah.

Lethal Company Is not something unusual, back in the pandemic we learned that video games that connect a social circle is something we really need to play together and forget about what happens in the real world. This game can be easily comparable to Among Us, this game also inspired a lot of memes and basically created a whole fanbase in a short amount of time. Impressive how it knocked off other AAA's from bigger companies but it was something that should have been suspected since that again happened with Fall Guys and Among Us.

Gameplay
The gameplay is about to survive 72 hours by visiting planets and scavenging used metals to sell them, it has a proximity chat based on distances with the players. You can buy helpful stuff at the terminal that can help you, this game can be pretty hard if you want to play it alone because it's best suited to play with other 3 people so the experience will be better, the monsters that chase you have different mechanics to avoid them and it's a really nice touch.

Story
This game does not have a singleplayer campaign, it's somewhat of a early access product and you can play it endlessly if you really want to.

Bonus
At the end of this review I really want to say that if you didn't reached this game all time peak it's useless to buy, it might slowly die in the next year and be remembered as a simple co-op game that you and your friends used to have fun around it. Zek really did something amazing, he took his time to create a game that people actually play and have fun all by HIMSELF. I can't reach that level with my Godot projects to be honest. As a final note you can mod this game with the r2 mod launcher and get some extra goodies to play around.
