Superhot can be a very tricky game but learning the game layout and the enemy position is the only way to progress through the game and that's why I love it so much, it reminds me about similar games (Hotline Miami, Party Hard, 12 is Better Than 6, OTXO, RED HOT VENGEANCE) Which are mostly top down shooters, this game is 8 years old and I was young when it came out and had some skill issue not knowing how to play it properly but now I decided to finally give it a shot and finish it.

Story At first you don't learn about any story, it's more of a narrative and dialogue game, your friends shares this game with you in the message box and you start to play it. Basically you are a some kind of AI controlled by a virus to get your mind and transform you into malicious artificial intelligence. And the devs are trying to stop you but it does not work correctly at the end when your quest is to control it by teleporting, but at the end you are shooting an obese character that is supposed to be the player who controls the in-game one.

Gameplay being more engaged in the gameplay rather the story behind it personally, it has slow motion gunning and fast thinking position in a first person game, back then this was something unusual and kind of new at the time.

Bonus the launcher can save your frag clips in the levels, you can finish it in one seat if you got the reflexes to do so, it also has a sequel and a VR version which is pretty interesting.

GTA IV Is the somewhat a better version of GTA V, other than that the story is pretty cool if you understand it correctly.

In comparison The physics of GTA 4 are way better than GTA 5, even the combat system is very complex and personally the story about revenge is something that GTA 5 could not achieve. The combat in 4 is a bit harder, the car controls are difficult but the motorbikes are the worse.

Story Our protagonist is a bosnian ex-soldier by the name of Niko Bellic seeking the American Dream and the revenge to kill Darko Brevic, our main character was lied by his cousin Roman Bellic that he was very wealthy in the fictional city of New York known as Liberty City but in fact he was almost in bankruptcy and his life was only about his taxi company. Niko tries to get used in the city but then he's aware of Roman's unpaid money. Niko only wanted to forget about his criminal life and eliminate Darko for what he did 10 years ago. Our protagonist life in Liberty City transforms into a henchman lifestyle after he killed Vlad, a man who tried to ditch roman by dating Mallorie a girl who Roman loved. After that our character is doing jobs with guys who are in organized crimes, the most important one being Dimitri Rascalov, after Niko killed Faustin everything changed about Dimitri, he started to chase Niko and tried to kill him in a warehouse but this time Niko had some help with Little Job, a jamaican drug addict.
After the warehouse fight Roman's apartament went on fire with his company as well and Mallorie decided to help him and Niko and so they moved to Bohan and work with Elizabeta Torres for some money. In that time Niko met with Manny a greedy rapper who was always an asshole and Playboy-x a man who got along with Niko but immediately changed after Dwayne came back from the jail, our character gets to choose who to kill because both of them are in a conflict but they use Niko as a hitman for their service. (if you kill dwayne you get 25k dollars, if you kill playboy you get his penthouse and a little easter egg that contains Claude's clothes) After that you get to make Torres last mission, since her drug dealings was discovered by NYPD, in a rush she killes Manny and you need to get his body with the camera man as well to a doctor. Eventually Michelle betrays you and you find out that she's a secret agent by the real name of Karen. After finishing United Liberty Paper missions you no longer speak with her and you don't get in trouble with the FIB. Now you get along with McReary family mostly with Packie and Francis, and you meet Packie's sister by the name of Kate. Packie used to work with Liz and his missions are related to drugs and a heist. Francis is a corrupted cop that wants one of his family member dead, after finishing his missions you get to choose if you want to kill Derick or him (killing francis gets you no wanted option on free roam) and the last one is Gerry, for him you have to kidnap a girl by the name of Gracie that is a daughter of a italian mob. Now you only have to do Pegorino's missions, you meet with him by doing Packie's missions. You also have missions with Phil and Ray, both of them are working with Pegorino and after you finish their missions you get tho choose between revenge and deal. Personally revenge was my choice because I really wanted to kill Dimitri, before killing him you get to meet Darko and Florian, you avenge your dead friends by killing Darko and after that you can choose your 2 options. Choosing Revenge and killing Dimitri makes Jimmy Pegorino mad because he wanted a big profit out of Dimitri's deal and that makes him kill Kate. Mallorie and Roman are getting married finally but then Pegorino shows up killing Kate and then running away in a car but luckily Jacob knew how to find Pegorino and he called Niko to chase him down and eventually killing him and then the story ends.

Bonus Talked enough of gameplay up there in the comparative part, this has to be one of the best GTAs ever. As of now I'm trying to replay GTA 5 since the last time I finished it. Always wanted to play 4 but the PC port is god awful and without modding it can't be playable.

Max Payne 3 Simply a masterpiece in the third person action world of gaming, with a redeeming point of our protagonist.

Story Payne was just hangin' around in New Jersey but his alcoholic addiction started to kick in it really hurt the character's mental stability, everyone would understand Max's reason why is doing this if you played the other games. Drinking his whole life in one bar but one night a group of unhinged teens came in the bar shouting out words that made Max feel like trash inside but he knew that he could not do anything about it since he was a former NYPD detective. In the bar a former student of the police academy came in recognizing Max since both of them took similar studies.
A bar fight started with our protagonist and his friend Raul Passos, eventually one of the kids got shot and the others in the group started the whole horde of gun blazing around. Escaping with Raul our protagonist finds out what happened exactly about that kid and how he took his life and made a heartbreaking moment for his father. The father ordered gunners to hunt Max and Raul, after escaping Max realized what he did back there, the same feeling he had when his daughter was killed by those junkies. Raul takes a opportunity to ask Max if he wants to move on and hire him as a bodyguard in São Paulo. Max knew that his whole life in Hoboken was drained apart, he accepted the offer and together they became bodyguards to protect Fabiana Branco.
Branco's family is a very wealthy in brazil, our protagonist knew that he needed something to stop thinking about his traumatic past. The family was targeted by gangsters, eventually after they kidnapped Fabiana their journey started to find her and bring her back. But they failed... Max knew how wanted he was so he became a skinhead to change his appearance. Getting the intel that Fabiana was somewhere in Favela started his own mission and hope to save her. Her husband was dead but that did not stop Max to rescue her, he was too late to the party Serrano already took care of her. Fighting his way out surrounded by cops, Nova Esperança wanted Max dead, it was their target. Max finds Giovanna and rescues her, later on Raul left brazil and let Max alone to finish his journey. Payne had to take down Becker since he was a corrupt commander and friends with Victor Branco, he was the second antagonist. Max goes rampage mode to find him in a police station but he fails to kill Becker, later on learning that Victor Branco was behind Sao and the kidnapping of Fabiana, rushing in a train being shot from all the sides Payne gets out of the train and he takes down Becker and then his friend Dave came with a car and helped Payne chase Victor and eventually blowing him up.

Bonus Wow, I remembered more stuff than about the story compared to Max Payne 2, anyways some parts I think uhh I missed in the story but the important ones like the airport chase and the beginning was alright, if you want a game FULL and I mean FULL of action and guns blazing around you should try this game or maybe start with the first one.

Gameplay The novel story writing isn't there anymore since this game was planned by mostly Rockstar and Remedy contributed but this game does not contain puzzles or anything like that, a straigh up third person only aboun gunning everyone in your face with slow motion and it keeps the atmosphere of the other games in this trilogy.

Max Payne 2 Is a great sequel, people may say that is way shorter than expected but personally it took more to finish it compared to Max Payne 1.

Gameplay It's not a big difference, max's skin has changed to James's face to connect the character with the voice actor and so it's no longer Sam Lake, I think it's the same engine but a bit improved and redesigned. You get new weapons like my favorite being the kalashnikov, the level design is still very interesting and the novel story writting does not get old. Chapter 4 is the most goofy and unexpected to happen in a max payne game.

Story Max cannot pass his past about his family and so he got back to his detective job and he was investigating a warehouse owned by one of his friends named Vlad that is a russian mob that owns the mentioned warehouse full of cleaners but really they are all criminals. Max gets a full PTSD episode from the hospital where you can see one of his partener valerie winterson being dead. After going forward to inspect the situation about these HITMEN cleaners max finds a girl by the name of Mona Sax trying to help him but she was on the wanted list and max had to choose if he wants to join her so he can finish the case or not. Further in the story Mona was along Vlad and he wanted her to eliminate Payne and get out of his partener bounding. But something Vlad didn't know is that both of them got attached together in a some kind of relationship. Sure Mona betrayed max in the construction site but even after that she had some emotions for Max. After rescuing Vinnie and then learning the truth about Vlad everything went on fire knowing how Vlad planned this to happend and so he destroyed the building that Max was in.
Mona rushing to save him and getting out of the burning building they had to end Vlad forever. Going to his mansion fighting the guards and then meeting with Vlad finally giving the last straw after finding out that Mona betrayed him and immediately shooting her. Max following Vlad while the explosives were going ON destroying the basement he reaches Vlad and then a high ground fight starts. Vlad was on a chandelier while Max was on ground trying to dissemble the wires that hold Vlad. After eventually finishing the job and killing Vlad falling down to his death Max finds out mona dead on the floor while the cops are rushing to the building and so the story ends.

Bonus Really tried to remember the story but it very complex compared to the first game, writing this on a phone was not a very pleasant experience but oh well. When I think about Max Payne 2 I think about Halo 4's story and the final twist after rolling the credits lmao, for me this story is quite forgettable but replaying it might help me refresh my brain a bit.

Also, might start to add games that I played during the last month of 2023 and marking it as Played on 2024 so yeah.

Lethal Company Is not something unusual, back in the pandemic we learned that video games that connect a social circle is something we really need to play together and forget about what happens in the real world. This game can be easily comparable to Among Us, this game also inspired a lot of memes and basically created a whole fanbase in a short amount of time. Impressive how it knocked off other AAA's from bigger companies but it was something that should have been suspected since that again happened with Fall Guys and Among Us.

Gameplay
The gameplay is about to survive 72 hours by visiting planets and scavenging used metals to sell them, it has a proximity chat based on distances with the players. You can buy helpful stuff at the terminal that can help you, this game can be pretty hard if you want to play it alone because it's best suited to play with other 3 people so the experience will be better, the monsters that chase you have different mechanics to avoid them and it's a really nice touch.

Story
This game does not have a singleplayer campaign, it's somewhat of a early access product and you can play it endlessly if you really want to.

Bonus
At the end of this review I really want to say that if you didn't reached this game all time peak it's useless to buy, it might slowly die in the next year and be remembered as a simple co-op game that you and your friends used to have fun around it. Zek really did something amazing, he took his time to create a game that people actually play and have fun all by HIMSELF. I can't reach that level with my Godot projects to be honest. As a final note you can mod this game with the r2 mod launcher and get some extra goodies to play around.

Max Payne This game is very interesting, from an almost abandoned project that was Dark Justice to a revolutionary game that yet again came in surprise.

Gameplay
When this game launched it had a different approach when it came to game implementation, the slow motion felt great, gunning someone with dual ingrams never felt that good.
It was truly something unique, the dark atmosphere and overall the vibe of it really fits this game, for a third-person experience this game had its own thing, you had dual-wielding weapons and a decent amount of guns to play around.
Peeking through a wall in that slow motion while your character is aiming his gun at the enemy really fills up that matrix style. The game does not contain puzzles or anything like that, to be completely honest I can easily compare this game to Hotline Miami because you are there only to eliminate and then leave. Truly love how the guys at Remedy used their own faces for the characters, the iconic one being Sam Lake.

Story
Sam Lake also from that I heard he wrote the plot of the game, now this is lining the stars. You are a former detective by the name of Max Payne, one day you are coming to your house and you find out that some criminals took your family away from you and now you want revenge. In the same time you are investigating a new drug called "Valkyr". Our protagonist is involved in suspicious organizations and some kind of satanic cult. In the story you find out that a girl by the name of Nicole Horne is the antagonist of the game. She owns the company who produced the drug Valkyr. Max wanted revenge because the criminals who took his family were high on that drug and he was determined to finish his business with Nicole and her company. In the end Nicole failed her escape plan by leaving with a helicopter because Max cut the wires and shot the anthenna and eventually she crashed.

Bonus
Some stuff that I really enjoyed about this game must be the story telling, the comics style is AGAIN fitting the plot and how the characters look, also loved the dream sequences. Overall I finished this game twice, once on mobile and now on PC. If you are searching for a shorter game with lots of action this is for you. Also the game felt a bit easier, on mobile it was basically cheating with that aim assist but once you finish this game it will be easier the second time.

I used to play a lot of iii/vc/sa when I was a kid, but never got the chance to finish one of them because back in the day I was only playing for fun with a notebook right on my sight with cheat codes.

But today this changed, finishing GTA III without no cheat codes was a succes, this game changed the landscape of gaming back in 2001 and no one knew that rockstar would deliver this game, before this game rockstar was mainly on top down games like GTA 1 and london.
Yet again the original port is very buggy and unstable so had to mod it and got the D.E.P modification so the game would be fixed, sad that it's no longer on steam with the rest of the trilogy.
I remember a sale with the whole trilogy that was around 7 euros sadly I missed it, even the steam version was very buggy and unstable as well.
This is the most influential game ever, the first 3d GTA game that was awesome when it launched, without this game we would not have the rest so this is an iconic game.
The story was not a big deal, you are a silent henchman taking missions from 3 different islands, portland, staunton, and shoreside vale.
The most memorable characters are after portland, after maria tells you that salvatore is trying to trick you so he can dump you.
Then you take missions from asuka, kenji, ray, donald and the final one with catalina, you seek revenge that your girlfriend betrayed you during a heist.
Not a big story but it was rockstar's first 3D and the attention to details and drawings to the characters is awesome, you can find some characters from other games like Toni from liberty city stories in the first missions of portland and Donald Love from vice city.
Missions can be a bit tough, but that only when you passed the mid part of the game, asuka's last missions can be very hard, and the time limit missions if you don't know the map too well because the markers will not guide you correctly all the time that's why they added triangles in vc and sa.
This again changed the lanscape of third person games and video games overall, next is vc and sa so yeah happy holidays everyone.

So funny that's not been even a damn month since I finished DOOM 2016 and I finished another AAA title from 7 years ago lmao.

So its the end of the year, holidays are coming aaand here I go again finishing another banger that is not compared to postal 4, jokes aside back in 2016 EA really kicked it off with this game, they were in their peak moment of modern gaming but they fell off really quickly after that.

Battlefield 1 shows the storylines of different soliders during the events of WW1, 6 unique stories with different protagonists and different plot.

I found it very unique, the singleplayer might be short but it's a fine ride through the game.

One story you find yourself in a tank and in another you are a pilot learning how to control a damn plane.

I just wish other game companies to make another banger similar to BF1 but now it's too late to ask.

Overall a fantastic short game with lessons about friendship in others and trust and showing the real sides of world war 1.

By the way, in 2024 I will officially start to track my game progress through the upcoming year since I didn't joined backloggd in january of 2023... This might be the last game I finished in this year and i'm fully proud of it.

The ramps in this game are only based on your luck, if you want to make a ramp jump with a big difference of height good luck retrying until the game decides, oh is your car in the middle of the air but it's in a different position and you can't land? that's alright... Atleast the game gave you the chance to get the speed in air to land on the ramp.

Seriously, some parts of the game are highly retarded but mostly the races are pretty easy when you are not playing on a ramp based theme.

Literal childhood, the phone version is unfair because if you lose your hearts you have to get premium.... yikes
Almost forgot about this game but had lab class and I scrolled the play store randomly while waiting for the teacher lol.

So uh, postal 4, since I played the first version of it and yeah it was terrible... Did my review changed? well yeah and now i'm coming with the full review after beating the game, let's start with some cons.

Endless bugs, performance issues.

Now let me explain, so if you ever finished postal 4 you know how many bugs this game has. I don't need to count them even RWS know about this issue and they are trying to fix it.
I encountered less bugs in postal 3 in the DRM update which is funny but yeah.

As for the performance... That gotta be the worst THING ever, why RWS switched to unreal? (again) my game crashed atleast 20 times after I loaded a new map, yet again this happened in postal 2 as well but not this often. And the framerate is very random, in some places it runs smooth and sometimes the game lags out of nowhere and it makes it unplayable. I was getting tired of the unreal engine report bug tool, so let's move to the story.

The story is simple, dude lost his trailer home and he ends up in edensin, there he takes jobs just like in postal 2 or 3.
You have new characters like kunny (the female version of krotchy) civvie11 as a boss for some reason lol and the final boss which i'm not gonna spoil it. But in the end is the classic postal story route.

Again, thank you RWS for releasing updates that heals this game, at the current moment this game is still pretty forgettable for the majority of people playing it. I might replay it after 3 years or so, had some major bugs in my playthrough and I HOPE it gets fixed.

Now for the final question... Is it worth to get this game in his current state? (11/17/2023) Hell no, trust me wait a bit and then give it a try. RWS is trying to fix this game with major updates so yeah wait until the game is right. The stars are there, might change this review when I will replay it one day.

Their main director left the company and now they ran out of ideas, this is the season pretty much, the originality is gone but they still manipulate kids to pay for skins that are atleast 5 years old but now they are being reworked. yay. love you epic games pls gibe gta 6

Notes: their shop looks like modern cod now, well you know activision copied them first now they do it as well.. I love video games companies :DDDD

I still prefer csgo for nostagic reasons, they had to replace csgo because it was way too ancient from what I heard from a dev, fair enough. They could make a new counter strike game but the professional scene was too big to do it so yeah.

It lacks content but in the future everything will be fixed, performance is not too bad I get around 300 fps on 4:3 and I would understand a lower end fella giving this game a negative review. Overall this change for me was unexpected but source 2 ain't that bad.

Cons: recoil

Another generic first person shooter that only a 14 year old would actually enjoy it, also seems like a cash grabber even tho the game is on his testing phase. There's a pile of dead FPS games just like this on steam that no one plays.

Here if you want a good indie game try out strike force heros that launched recently, that game has real potential even tho it's not free.

I'm starting to think that everyone is being paid to say shit about this game endlessly, to be honest I got it for one euro because as of now it's a sale on steam (11/1/2023) and I finished it within 7.2 hours, look they fixed some of the problems about it and I will tell you what problems I had with it. Alt+tab crash, random crashes in-game but not that frequent, encountered 2 bugs in only 2 missions the rest were okay.

Look it's postal, at this point I played every postal game and I finished this one without taking mods or anything and it was okay. This game was not meant to be serious, it's a fun shooting game with objectives. Yes, it's not that open world like postal 2 and it's pretty straight forward when it comes to missions because you are being teleported to the location after the cutscene so yeah. After you beat it you get atleast a free roam mode in the new game, if you boot this game up only to take it serious then I don't know what's your problem pal it's just a clunky game with edgy jokes.

So yeah, postal 3 will never be like the others in the franchise, and I think that's why it was hated besides the awful launch that it had. Overall akella might left it unfinished when it come to some stuff but even some older games have problems but they have a positive fandom so yeah people.
