Such an incredibly charming game! The artstyle is great, the characters are all delightful, and the world is fun to explore.

A great intro to the series for newcomers! While it’s definitely a lot more simple than its predecessors, it’s still a blast to play. I guess it’s just easier for my pea sized brain to comprehend.

A bit of a hassle to play multiplayer since you need 4 GBAs and a GameCube? But if you get the chance to play it, it’s an absolute gem. Puzzles are fun but I’m never looking at my friends in the same way again.

The visuals are incredible and it’s just super addicting. This game has absolutely deserved all the attention that it’s gotten.

Such an incredible sequel like what's there to even say that hasn't already been said. There's incredible music, great characters, everything feels more challenging than before, and you have an excellent base to build off of.

POKÉMON EXPERIMENT LIKE THIS MORE PLEASE.
The direction they went in with getting rid of gyms and having island kahunas was a breath of fresh air. The story was also surprisingly alright by Pokémon standards which was neat.

Pretty cute and fun to play through once with a few friends. That's about it though.

The gameplay loop is somewhat fun and addicting, but it sucks that you have to wait a few days in real time to do anything unless you want to use microtransactions.
