Best platformer gameplay I have ever seen. Insanely beautiful visuals, OST, story, Just like the first game but improved in every way

As a PS5 exclusive, visually it is the best looking game on the console to date. It’s amazing to see how far these games have come with the visual fidelity and smooth frame rates, along with the very impressive non existent load times. The pocket dimensions were astounding showing how quickly you can be in two different environments simultaneously. While the specs are impressive, if you’ve played any Ratchet and Clank game before, then you have played this game. The story was okay and the gameplay shares much of the same as previous iterations. It’s a fun ride but not at a $69.99 price tag. Save some money and wait for a sale on the game. Still a neat game to experience.

I LOVE Naughty Dog games! I think there storytelling and set pieces are top notch. The visuals for this game are incredibly impressive and the gameplay is fair (if you’ve played the first Last of Us, you’ll already know it). But I come to a Naughty Dog game because they know how to tell a story. This story though left me so very disappointed. While everyone complains that Joel shouldn’t have died the way he did, I thought that was an okay choice to make narratively. My problem was with the character Abby as I think she wasn’t introduced properly to the game before she is made out to be a villain and then 13 hours later for you to now play solely as her. All I could feel as I played her section, was “Boy, how much longer do I have to play as her.”

My suggestion for the story could’ve been more along this line. “Abby and Ellie meet as they are both trying to survive and they grow closer as friends. But as the game gets closer to the end, Abby finds out that Ellie’s adopted dad Joel is who killed her dad years earlier. The game could conclude with her killing Joel, saying sorry to Ellie, the running away. Set up 3rd game where now you have Ellie’s revenge story.”
