I love this gameeee! I love seeing Pokemon do interesting, natural things. It's so interesting and fun, yet simple. It's pretty, and has a nice vibe with a good chunk of different ecosystems to introduce multiple types of pokemon. It's sooooo cool. I love it.

My first Pokemon was Pokemon Black. I played it on DS as a kid and I've played it as recently as 2023. Albeit, I only play it with a randomizer now, the charm of the game is still there. Team Plasma is a fun, cool evil team with Ghetsis at it's head. N is super fuckin' cool. The sprites are amazing and full of life. Overall, a great Pokemon, and my favorite. If not because of nostalgia, it's because of the quality of the game! And a lot of people think Black is really great, too. So! Take that! My favorite.

Good murder mystery game. Old and kinda camp, but it's age shows in a good way. The characters are fun, the cases are mostly good, and the ending is pretty satisfying. It's completely into itself, and it needs that to fully function, as the world is so intense and complicated. The dialogue sometimes lasts a bit too long, but I guess it's necessary for "character building". Overall, good first entry to a good trilogy, at least in my opinion :3

If you don't take it serious it's fun. Not by yourself though... not by yourself. It's not amazing... but it's not bad either.

I haven't played this game in a long time, however, this game is one of the first games that I got for myself and played fully by myself. and I loved it!! Characters, design, writing, gameplay, story, music, it's all good. The story especially is captivating, and the ending is quite nice. Now I can say that this game is nostalgic, as I played it in 2015-2016. I was 9 or 10. Jesus. Love this game, and hope to continue playing it's sequel, Deltarune, til it's finished. The characters being reimagined into an alternate universe is great.

So so fun with friends... however, you need a mod to play with more than 4 people. But, when you do that, it's good. Actually genuinely scary at times, with a good amount of replayability. The monsters are cool, the controls are alright minus the kinda weird jumping, and games with proximity chat are actually fucking hilarious. The minimalist graphics don't affect my view, as the substance far overshadows the visuals, which aren't even terrible either! YAY

Very innovative 3D Mario platformer. As all 3D Mario's, this game has a gimmick, that being the hat. I forgot his name but he's cool, and the mechanic is done well (unlike FLUDD). The different Mario transformations keep the game fresh, in an environment that already is fresh, with the constant change of environment and new characters/creatures. Also the music is pretty good, but a bit basic IMO. Good game, but not too crazy good.

The third game is probably my favorite. All throughout completely action packed, as you watch all the loose ends unravel into a chaotic pile of character's tragedies. And you, Phoenix Wright, are supposed to bring answers, revelations, and catharsis to those who have been tortured by literal evil spirits for years. In the final chapter you LITERALLY break a FAMILY curse, and avenge Mia and Misty Fey, and save Maya from the many people trying to kill her. Although implicating Godot in the final trial is melancholic and tragic in it's own right, it completes the story of the Fey's, and puts to rest everything that has happened to the sisters and their poor mother for all time. Other than that, the second and third chapter are okay too. But those last two chapters carry this game all the way to a 5-star. There is twists and turns, amazing emotional impact, and great music to accompany it, even giving homage to the iconic Objection! 2001 music in the end.

The second game in the original trilogy is not bad in any sense. However, in comparison to 1 and 3, it feels slightly disconnected. The second chapter delves into the Fey mythology and introduces the village of Khura'in, as well as Pearl, who's great. While I love chapter 3 and 4 in their own right, again, in comparison to the cases that follow the main Phoenix/Maya/Edgeworth storyline. Although, the final case is one of the most memorable, with de Killer and Engarde being great characters and having a great twist. Almost forgot how great Franziska von Karma is, too, and her storyline with Edgeworth. Great game, and continuing with good music.

The first of an amazing series. Starting off strong, this game holds up to modern eras. The overarching story interweaving the characters is really something special. I love all chapters and all characters of this game. Every chapter and character subsequently introduced is beautifully crafted, both design-wise and story-wise. I can prattle on about all the separate chapters and how amazing they are, including every side character, but that'd take way too long. It's a great introduction to an amazing story that will persist for another two games, although the second for the most part ignores it. The music is perfect. It's all perfect! I love this game. Phoenix Wright is a great main character, and every other character is so surrounded by tragedy that playing Phoenix Wright feels very rewarding, solving the mysteries surrounding the people and bringing to justice the evils of the Japanifornia area.

This trilogy of games is amazing and full of wonder, which I will describe in separate reviews of the games. The HD remasters of the sprites are great and stays faithful to the original sprites, and the games music is still very good. It helps that the games, for the most part, follow one big story. Having all three of them at your disposal in one neat package is very nice and fitting.

Reviewed all three of these games individually. Coulda emulated them, but the switch is nice too, I guess. Some parts I wasn't sure was just the original game being bad or the emulation onto switch, but apparently this port had some problems so, a 2 star.

Pretty good game! x10 better than Dark Moon, which started to go down the way of Paper Mario, in the originality-sense (erasing the wonderful character design and maze-like mansion setting away). Luigi's Mansion 3 is essentially Luigi's Mansion 1 on steroids, if you focus on the two things I mentioned in parantheses. The levels are really interesting and fun to go around. Gooigi is a great addition as a puzzle-solving tool. The boss characters (despite lacking the very satisfying portrait mechanic) are really fun and pleasing to look at design-wise. The hotel setting with floors that range from being a literal Egyptian landscape to a 80s disco room are very innovative and keeps every level fresh. All in all, very good game.

Alice is such a gem. I am so glad I played this game. The style is horrifying and ugly, a complete opposite to what you'd expect from a story you likely grew up with. The themes are dark and tragic, and the way Wonderland is depicted as a part of Alice and her machinations, incorporating the way her trauma blocks memories via many forms of symbolism. I also love seeing characters I recognize turned into distorted versions of themself. The story is very interesting, while slightly confusing, I still find it very easy at the end to get what happened. The human characters are also interesting to see, as it depicts the real world as evenly corrupted. The game (whether on purpose or not) shows how, even though Wonderland is fake and created by Alice's mind and awful trauma... the real world and these real people are naturally awful and just as grim as Wonderland. In fact, you might even find that the real world is way worse than Wonderland by the end. I love a game with good themes, and the mechanics of the game weren't bad at all either. In fact, I found it very fun to play. I love puzzles and I love platformers, and the fighting mechanic is really engaging as well as the enemies. All in all, a very good game.
