"Ori and the Will of the Wisps" is a very delightful game.

Personally I didn't really know what to expect here. I played the first game rather easily and quickly. But I still enjoyed the overall experience that "Ori and the Blind Forest" offered.

So last week after I finished the hilarious and absurd game "Postal 2" I was looking for something a bit less crass and ridiculous that was Postal. So while looking through my endless backlog on steam I spotted the Ori sequel. And I really didn't give it a second thought of downloading it because of how good that first game was. And I feel bad that I didn't play this sequel sooner.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps not only improves on Ori and the Blind Forests gameplay it also amps up a lot of the emotional aspects of the characters and setting of this game. It was very interesting seeing how this game juggles the energetic combat, platforming and puzzle solving with these deep sentimental and quiet moments. Which is pretty different for a metroidvania because usually when you have a game with interesting characters and story they tend to ditch any form of interesting gameplay in service for a more compelling narrative. But the studio decided to give us both, which is always welcomed. Before anything else I have to mention the game's visual design because it is just gorgeous! A beautiful combination of these 2d/3d backgrounds, superep animations and the detailed character models. Most games nowadays tend to be quite bland looking so seeing this game use the entire color wheel was very nice.

After all that gushing about the game I gotta at least state one minor complaint I have with it. I wasn't really fond of the boss battles. Most of the time I really hated how button mashy it got and how absurdly tanky they were, which made them all kind feel the same despite them being quite different visually.

Anyways besides that one complaint I wholeheartedly recommend the game. I will absolutely keep an eye out for whatever this studio will do next.

Enjoyed the first 3 chapters of this season, but as soon as it hit the fourth ep it decieded to nosedive in the quality of its writing.

I think I understand why Gordon Freeman didn't speak in the Half Life games.

If I was rating this game purely on how it handles its humor and characters, this game easily would get a 5 star rating. But sadly due to its episodic structure & trial and error gameplay makes the process of completing this game rather repetive and boring. And while I did not hate my experience playing this game I do wish there was more variety to how you solve clues and how episodes play out.

I pray that Beyond Space and Time does not have the same issues as Save the World.

While beautiful and technically impressive this game is unforgivably boring & uninteresting horde shooter/live service game.

Left 4 dead came out in 2008 and while dated in certain aspects still manages to shit over new games like Darktide that try to replicate what Left 4 Dead did so masterfully.

But that being said this game does have the potential to improve itself over time, similar with Vermintide 2. But it'll probably be a while before anything substantial comes along. So for the mean time go play Vermintide 2 or Left 4 Dead.

Although if there is one thing to check out about Darktide its the soundtrack. That is genuinely worth a listen.

"Hey Vincent! I need A Way Out.........Of this game!"- Leo Caruso (probably).

While somewhat enjoyable purely for playing this with a friend, this game is pretty unimaginative and cliched as hell. Often times me and my friend will joke about what would happen only for it to actually happen. Nothing in this game surprises you.

So if you want a better co-op experience from hazelight go play It Takes Two.

This game is disappointing, I hate to say this about a wolfenstein game. I very much love the franchise and saying that is sad to say because I had very high expectations for this. Purely because of how many people said that this game is the apex for the Wolfenstein franchise.

The negatives I have for this game is that the combat/gunplay can be incredibly inconsistent, A.I. is stupidly difficult to deal with on "I AM DEATH INCARNATE", saving is annoying, boss battles are uninteresting and the stealth sections are atrociously designed.

And the only real positives I have of this game is the semi competent story, it ain't anything special but its somewhat good. Locations are visually fascinating and can keep me interested when the gameplay isn't, weapons are varied and unique but its a damn shame that the gun play doesn't work as desired.

Overall I can't recommend this game at all, If you want a great wolfenstein experience try to hunt down the 2009 game, the original or just play the New Order.

Probably the closest thing we’ll get to bloodborne being on pc.

I loved everything about this game. But sadly I have to abandon it due to the issues of its pc port.

So if you're reading this Nightdive Studios please for the love of god remaster this game by any means.

Despite this game having some dated graphics, this game is the equivalent of crack to me. I've had such a great time this game and I look forward to playing the sequels.

I don't understand why I never played this sooner and I'm really glad I did.

After playing the first game I would say that this is probably the most humurous of the two and the lesser of this duology.

But on its own this is still a really great game.

I feel like this game needs a sequel, purely to fully push the limits of its gameplay. Like the gameplay is really good but it never pushes itself to higher standards like other platformers do. And I get that this is mean't to be more story focused but its so basic and simplistic. Like anyone could've written this!

So its disappointing that we didn't get anything more here. But when you get to play around with its mechanics, it becomes a insanely fun platformer.

With the release of the Dead Space remake looming over the horizon I decided to re-visit the game and see how the game holds up. And I confidentally say that I still love Dead Space. This game is over 10yrs old now and it just astounds me how well its held up. From sound to level design and atmosphere, its perfect.

Holy shit. Somehow they managed to make this remake even better than the original.
