Boring, uninspired puzzles. Stopped when they did the one where you have to bring a fox, a rabbit and a cabbage across a river. Might revisit but lost my patience fairly quickly with this one, so it might get better later on. Spritework on the characters is pretty good.

Finding all the ways to die is part of the fun in these kinds of games but it becomes an annoyance when pretty much every single eye catching object kills you.
Even shlockier than mad father but it seems to be self aware enough where it’s enjoyable. A lot of the puzzles were very unintuitive though which let to some frustration where I would just go check every single room for what to do next.
Overall definitely one of the lesser rpg maker horror classics but by no means terrible- the OST is pretty good though!

overuse of chase sequences but great atmosphere, prolly my second favorite after Ib

2022

still the king of rpg maker horror, superb atmosphere and sound design. love the setting of a haunted gallery!

very shlocky but decent puzzles and atmosphere

Short, cute and competent little Metroidvania. Nothing too special but it felt great to play, had a lot of charm and didn't overstay its welcome. Good stuff!

Overall just a better version of BOTW, Ultrahand is so much fun and fusing weapons is really cool. Was disappointed that shrines were back but they were mostly a lot better than the old ones, with much fewer repeated concepts. The dungeons were great visually but felt very formulaic in terms of actual content (activate the 4 whatevers, fight the boss) and the bosses themselves were kinda lame to fight. The final boss is great though and I am glad to never have to look at Sheikah technology again.
The sage powers are kinda lame but the final one is really really cool.
Overall i had an absolute blast but it kinda started losing me towards the end before I went to the final boss.
The improvements they did make are fantastic, however there is still a lot more room for improvement in the next game and I hope they don't stick to the same formulas again.

Great dungeons and bosses, the inbetween stuff is kinda eh
Bless Groose

A little dated in some aspects but still holds up amazingly well

People need to chill out about this game. Still pretty damn good though.

Not a great Zelda game but a weird and dark experience that I still think about a lot.

Best game in the series overall. Looks fantastic and really shows off what the Switch can do.

Legit probably the best 2D Metroid, endgame areas are sadly a bit bare due to Nintendo shutting the project down.

Really good sprite art, fantastic ost, great story with very lovable characters. Huge amount of content, too. They don’t make spinoffs like this no more.

Bland, loveless, absolutely brain dead difficulty level, the much hyped wild area is as barren as Hyrule Field on the N64. Music is good though.
