so that's what happens if you give a robot a sword

claims to be pro life
dies anyway

sometimes the game not directly telling you where to go can be a real pain. but the sense of exploration the game gives off is very fun and cool

the bomb jump mechanic in this game opens up a whole new world of sequence breaking. want to get a powerup, but don't want to do a tedious puzzle? make a bomb staircase. don't want to backtrack later? make a bomb staircase to hit a switch early. want to kill yourself on a puddle of water that you shouldn't even be able to touch normally? make a bomb staircase. also the sky world sucks but bomberman controls fun. this game is pretty ok i guess

also the lag in this game can get really really bad, if only this was ported to the wii u virtual console along with the first bomberman 64

opening this game for the first time, you're pretty much gonna have no idea what to do. this is the part where you join online servers and get babied by other people until you learn and are GOOD at the game. playing by yourself can be difficult but i mean that's why there are world settings, just customize em to make it fair. playing with friends is fun too (if they know what they're doing). the game getting constant updates and reworks can be overwhelming, but realistically you're gonna choose like one character and follow the same formula every time. the beginning of the game can be really tiring but after that oh boy

you know what to do but will still die anyway

This review contains spoilers

the protagonist you don't choose dies so technically you kill someone as soon as you start the game.

perfect game to 100% if you hate your life
