This game was great—so much here is objectively improved upon from the previous entries. The visuals (obviously), the combat with the best shooting in the series, amazing set pieces, and the best story which has real heart at times.

They also really improved the traversal with sliding and grappling mechanics which are just fun and feel great. I like that they included a real stealth mechanic this time around; it’s a bit lackluster but it gets the job done for a non-stealth game. Mostly unused by me.

My main complaint is that the pacing can be a little wonky—I couldn’t help but compare some aspects of this to TLOU which I thought handled a lot of these elements much better. This game is a lot bigger than the other games, and while it moves linearly, there’s more room to take different paths through areas. In TLOU, there’s a real desire to explore with a rewarding scavenging mechanic—the Uncharted series is not built on this foundation. Because of this, bigger areas just went largely unexplored by me because why would I bother to look around simply for the chance to find one of the billion collectibles? Sometimes the game is too big and sections can drag, especially traversal. I’ve never been one to dislike the climbing mechanic in this series and in similar games inspired by it, but this game reallyyyy pushes its luck at times. I did not feel the same drive to return to this game and to keep playing it as I did with either TLOU’s or Uncharted 2 (probably my fav in the series).

Naughty Dog always leave me feeling like I went on a journey when I finish their games. While I was frustrated with some aspects of the game as I played, it’s difficult not to look back after completing it and feeling awestruck by the whole thing. Looking back on the story after finishing it, it’s easy to see just how grand and rewarding it was, but the pacing can undeniably bring it down and I can’t see myself rushing to replay this.

That being said, this is a perfect send off for the series, far better than 3. The ending of this game really feels like a conclusion for these characters in the best way even if it does lean on the sentimentality a bit. I teared up for sure. There are a ton of great moments in here, including a couple of my favorite moments in the whole series but I’d be lying if I said that I enjoyed every moment.
Torn between an 8 or 9 out of 10.

So fun and creative. Just a delight to see what twist they’ll throw in next with great character animation and level design.

Loved this game as a kid and happy to say I loved it again as an adult. This game has so much creativity and is always introducing new mechanics without feeling overwhelming.
Idk how you couldn’t like this game, it’s just whimsical and fun.

Had a lot of fun for a few hours but after I turned it off I really have no incentive to come back. Reminds me of the grindy nature of those mobile idle games which have a similar effect on me; they sound cool and I get invested for a day or two but then I just don’t gaf anymore and delete it. Even looking for a cozy game, there are other types that I prefer.

It’s good but not as good as 2. The puzzles are the best up until this point in the series but I found the combat really frustrating at times and the whole pace of the story kind of odd and disjointed. A bit lackluster but there’s some great moments sprinkled in.

Everything here is just rad as hell. This is only the second RE game I’ve played, with the first being the 2 remake, so this was quite a change of pace and it took me awhile to get used to everything but once it clicks it really clicks. The combat is so satisfying, visuals are fantastic, there’s some great horror, and I genuinely felt protective over the companion character.
Super fun—the type of game that makes you smile like an idiot involuntarily because you just watched the wildest thing happen in the most ridiculous badass way but it somehow still works.

It's alright, I wish I enjoyed it as much as a lot of other people do. I have less than ten hours in this and don't feel much incentive to keep coming back to it.
I found the difficulty to be off-puttingly frustrating rather than engrossing and replaying the first stage over and over again with the same enemies and same three guns got stale pretty fast for me. That being said, the combat feels shockingly good and melee weapons are immensely satisfying.
Might just not be my thing but I could see myself going for a run every once in awhile or trying some other roguelikes in the future.

This is an incredible game start to finish. This might be the most satisfied and accomplished I’ve felt after completing a game.
The combat, enemies, soundtrack, and visuals are all top notch. The exploration was a bit frustrating at times for me, probably because I’m unfamiliar with metroidvania style games, but it was always satisfying to find the right path or to beat a tough boss (and trust me they kicked my ass plenty).
I still have absolutely no clue what is happening story-wise, but I only achieved 67% completion and there was definitely some stuff I missed. I’m going to really enjoy coming back to this either on a replay or to play the dlc.

Edit: I am going back and attempting 112% completion, also I am obsessed with this game.

Despite its faults and lack of interesting innovation in recent years, Minecraft is a game that probably changed my life as a child. Solo survival can get boring pretty quickly, but it’s fun with friends, and I still enjoy playing it today.

The gameplay is awesome, the narrative is full of twists and surprises, and I love games that take risks despite the chance of alienating its players. The first part of the game is easily my favorite, but it maintained my interest throughout and I thoroughly enjoyed the ending by the time I got there.

2022

Pretty good! Beautiful visuals and a cool world, but simple and a tad repetitive. I enjoyed my time with this game, but was ready for it to be over by the end despite its short playtime.

Did not get this one. Found the open world dull and the missions incredibly tedious and boring. The way people talk about this game though…I may come back to it, we’ll see. Gave up after about 6 hours.

Great game with an engaging combat system and story. Completed a lot of the side content just for the fun of it. Only cons are with the economy being a little silly, the leveling up system being a bit confusing and unnecessary, and the occasionally goofy bit of writing/performance.

Incredible! Unfortunately the RPD is easily the best location and it suffers a bit from then on. I enjoyed playing both Leon and Claire’s campaigns and appreciated the differences in each though wish there was a bit more consistency canonically.

Everything in this sequel is massively improved from the first. Incredible set pieces, memorable characters, and fun gameplay. I played this until I couldn’t stay awake any longer. Just an absolute blast.
