Not for me simply. Was expecting more than boss fight after boss fight i think.

also im bad at it lol. Wanted to try simple but apperently you cant fnish the game on that mode, which was bewildering but shrug. Dont have the patience to continue on.

I dug the style if nothing else. Wish there was some sort of toggle shoot opiok due to how sore my fingers became when holding down the shoot button

2022

pretty ok. i like the visuals but the writing felt pretty weak if im going to be honest. didnt really make much of an impression.

what i DID like and was impressed by was theps5 dual sense controller integration. the vibrations..the purr,,,the resistance in triggers when clawing...made me go WOAHHH like a 5 year old on a first time trip to a theme park (this is my first time trying out the ps5 controller can u tell)

this one was a let down im afraid.

the gameplay and exporation is alot more streamlined. i like the inclusion in combat of having monster parts and weapon types mattering. gave me alot more room to explore them than in mhs1.

what i wish i liked was the story. i think i was expecting a tad more due to the change in scale and presentation but it didnt work for me. intresting concepts and character conflicts here and there that just kinda gets wrapped up way too soon for my liking.

another big failing is ratha. he's suppose to be our main monstie but for all the talks of bonds we barely...bond with him. wish there was a montage of raising him as he got bigger, or maybe showcasing his personality but...nada. which sucks since his and the mc's relationship are suppose to the driving force of this story and just...nothing. oh well

this one was pretty cute. not amazing but i wasnt expecting it to be. characters and story are basic but it was heartwarming nevertheless. combat is simple as well and easy to get into.

wish exploring was more streamlined and that item gathering wasnt such a pain in the ass.

also god damn those cutscenes. both in game and out. they were really well made.

i think the story/characters/sidemissions can be pretty hit or miss but god damn was everythign else really fun. combat was snappy as hell, music was great and all the bombastic presentation was a really fun ride. did not try to s+ all the cases bc i value my health.

was pretty fun to come back to my first kirby game! dont have much to say. i dig the additions: the minigames are fun, and the new epilouge was solid.

...just not really worth to pay 60 dollars for it tho lmao.

This one was edned up pretty lukewarm for me. I had fun but not really something that resonated with me.

Everything is pretty ok. I dug the characters, even if i think tsuaba makes for a more compelling protag than itsuki (i like him, but the lack of a clea goal at the start+the protag worshipping made things a tad mixed.). i dig the overall cast tho and enjoyed their sidestories.

the sidequest arent exaclty anything to write home about. its ok. really wish there was a menu for all the request you had gathered up tho.

the music is fine, but no heavy hitters beyond reicarnation for me. The session system is fun, but once you get a hang of things you can just go take a drink due to how long it can take to finish up lmao.

the story is also just...fine. still. i cannot deny i cheered on when those super cheesy moments happened at the finale lol.

not really on the same level as a persona game but i dont think it needs to be. maybe if they ever contnue this series it could be more of its own thing? woudlnt mind seeing what they cook up in the future.

Def made for the younger audience in mind but even so it was a simple, but fun romp!

Cant say much about it other than that. My one complaint is that i wish some sort of FF button existed for scenes u cant skip. Would make collecting a tad less tedious lol

REALLY good. reminded me why i love visuals novels in the first place. uminako/higurashi are still my top vns but this one is up there.

Just amazing production values, voice acting, music and so on. Solid characters, amazing chemstry and just all around really funny at times. Hugely recommend it. Really hope we get a sequel somehow bc there were stuff i woudlnt mind be expanded on.

the original characters from this game (gensisi or angeal) didnt do it for as much as i hoped it did. alot of the highlights for me was zack's realtionship with the few characters from the original ff7 (aerith espcially).

the combat took a bit to get used to but once you get the hang of things it can be fun to mix and match different materia/skills. having characters/story being mixed into the dmw system was quite fun, even if cutscenes can be kinda repetive after a while (thank god you can skip them).

speaking of repetive, most the side missions you can take on can be pretty dull. only a few i found to have some sort of meat to them but they moslty consistof defeat this thing and not much else.

still, this game made me care alot about zack which was probably the primary goal here lol so mission accomplished. shout out to the really sick summon animations as well.

played the game on switch and didnt have any hickups. a few stutters here and there but nothing that bothered me.

2022

The sense of ohh and ahh in this game was pretty damn solid. Really cool idea of grabbing instruction pages and see how your perspective shifts on certain things so you can explore new paths.

Was hard for me combat wise so im thankful for the god mode. Puzzles really upped at the end which kinda threw me off.

Pretty fun tho overall!

Crash 1: stupidly hard. Never thought i would rage at a game but here we are. Otherwise its cool that we can play as coco. Wish we could in all stages. Squinting real hard at the racist carcitures also lol.

Crash 2: def alot easier. Could actually get 100% this time! So that was nice. Not really much to comment on.

Crash 3: probably my favorite of the bunch. More variety in levels, both in gameplay and looks. Bosses have actual personalities now! Pretty nice

what suprised me the mosty about this one is that i was more engaed in the plot than i was in the characters. tbf i went with a party that were in the first game rather than the EE added ones but eh.

the combat/exploartion easecpts of this game feels a tad clunkly in some ways but i didnt mind it (well except for the slow walking). i wish the all the areas was as intrsting as durlags tower tho (in the way how the narrative and exploartion were deeply tied together)

even with all my problems with this one i still wanna try out the sequel before i get my hands on bg3. heard they improved on quite alot of things

same as before, short and cute but wish the etxt was more easier on the eyes. dig the companion system

short and fun. not much else to say. wish the text was more readable tho
