"Wow I'm impressed, I got to Fortuna after the time skip and stopped there. The heavy focus on the story is so palpable now compared to IV, I really liked IV but wow V hits different, I love it! And wow is it really dark compared to IV too, I got spoiled a long time ago that Luca gets sold into slavery but it still hit hard. I wasn't spoiled that his dad died but with all the Mother 3 comparisons, I had a feeling that would happen. They're really exploring the darker side of humanity here and more of the spiritual stuff with the church and I love that."
