I fail to think of any other game ever to have cutscenes and story beats more grandiose, mesmerizing, and beautiful; executed in extremely high fidelity. Despite some flaws it really comes across as an enormous feat of modern graphics with the excellent pairings of top of the line music, interesting characters, and a protagonist antagonist dynamic, further explored in Episode Ardyn, that I'm a massive sucker for. I think this game is special for any fan of the general/generic high fantasy setting.

A game that surprised me in an amazing way, a massive upgrade on the first game with some flaws on their first attempt at a more fleshed out story, but the extra post game they added to this version wraps the game up to a very high peak.
