Terrific multiplayer game. Just wish it had more of the single-player content from the GBA original.

Its literally just the GBA minigames rehashed, ported and stretched over a bigger screen for the Gamecube with a few muiltiplayer modes thrown in. Its fun for a little bit but also incredibly ugly thanks to the GBA rescaling.

[Replay] Nintendo’s most underrated series, easy. Though I never remembered this one being so single player light honestly. This is the one entry in the series that isn’t much fun to play alone, so the GBA versions definitely got a leg up on that. This one though, has one of my favorite multiplayer party modes in a video game. I love getting together with 4 people and playing the Mona’s Doctors challenge mode, Kat and Ana’s Turtle mode, 9 Volt e-Reader Cards. There all such fun and creative ways to use the microgame pool. The only multiplayer mode i'm not a big fan of is probably Dribble and Spitz one, its way to slow involves long periods of other players doing nothing. Also, I never noticed those unlockable music video’s before as a kid! I love the mixed media ascetic of the series.

Great game with fun multiplayer additions.

Tô sendo nintedista até pra warioware

This is still one of the best games in the franchise if not the best. Wario Ware is a really cool minigame collection you can dive super deep into if you want. Locking in and mastering every minigame and hunting for high scores is awesome. It's kind of shallow which can hurt it's longevitiy but it aids in accessibility. Very fun to pick up and put down whenever.

are you fuckin wario raw or protected?

es el de GBA pero con varios modos multijugador divertidos de los que aprenderán futuras entregas
el más raro de la saga y le faltan muchas cosas para un jugador

Aside from the multiplayer modes which I had no friends to play with, I didn't really enjoy Mega Party Games compared to the others in the series. It's odd to have this be what is essentially an enhanced remake of Mega Microgames (which came out earlier in the same year in Japan), and yet it feels more dry than the GBA original.

At least in the course of the main story, these microgames are just pulled from the first game; no cutscenes or any real story in comparison, just moving up an elevator. And for some reason, despite this one using the same rule of the boss stage being on floor 25, I found this game to be way more frustrating than the original. Maybe it's the speed being cranked way too fast?

This feels more like it was made to be a companion piece to Mega Microgames and nothing more. Still has the wacky charm though, which is nice.

ive only played this a handful of times but 4 player competitive multiplayer warioware is genius

Love the multiple modes to experience the microgames. The sound, controls, and graphics fit the theme perfectly. I have nostalgia for this one but how could anyone not like this game? Sadly the series kinda fell off with the later entries.

i liked the multiplayer on this but it took away some of that aesthetic i liked from the original

pure nostalgia tbh, probably had more fun playing this with friends as a child than any other game

Used to not have many friends who play games, so I've only recently played the multiplayer online. The multiplayer was surprisingly fun and I look forward to playing the rest of the series' multiplayer modes.

Review!

Multiplayer is always fun... or painful.

Fun multiplayer chaos, single player is just the GBA original.

Might have actually been my most played GameCube game as a kid. The weird humour and just general insanity of it has always resonated with me. Super easy to pick up and play, with or without other people. Tons of variety. It certainly works better as an handheld game, but otherwise it’s kinda perfect.

Even though I loved it at the time, I probably took it for granted. You can never really know how valuable things like this will be (personally or monetarily) without the benefit of hindsight. Now, however, it’s one of my all-time favourites and I hold it close to my heart. One of the best Christmas gifts I’ve ever received.

I haven't played the GBA original, but from what I can tell this is an inferrior way to experience the main game.

That multiplayer though!? Woo mama, some of the best on the Gamecube. Stuff is HEAT!

Better than the gba version but still pretty boring

A worse way to experience the core of the original but that's not what you come to this game for, it's the multiplayer aspect, and that's pretty fun

Didn't play a ton of this one, which is kinda sad because I love this series. The single-player is just "Mega Microgames" on a console, but the MULTIPLAYER?!?! That shit was awesome. I miss getting to play the multiplayer portion of it.

this game is awesome and the multiplayer is COOL.
