This game's pretty good. Incredibly unique gameplay idea executed in a really fun way. Fast, absurd, arcade action. This is a Classics of Game. No one can Hear. No one can Know. No One Can Stop Mr. Domino.

bro literally everything can stop mr domino

You have no idea how many things are able to stop Mr. Domino

A really fun but tricky game. Hard to describe but man was it a blast. Very short, only 6 levels, but they can really kick your ass. Highly recommended. But yep, glad this was the first thing I decided to knock out of my Japanese ps1 backlog after coming back from a long time living in Japan and accumulating a lot of random games.

Strategical fast paced arcade runner, does the endless runner genre much better than most of the games that came after. Music and style is immaculate.

Best game ever? Always gets my heart racing, all the vibes are here plus the excitement!

Obscure PS1 puzzle game that has quite the charm. Memorization is pretty much key when learning where to drop domino tiles, so they all line up and knock each other over. I had no idea that the red transparent squares lead for domino combos (would've made the game a whole lot easier if I knew earlier). I also didn't know you could hold the action button down, so dominos auto drop. That problem is more of a me issue lmao. All the levels except the last one is fair for the most part. The last level of the game can be quite strict in terms of timing and honestly it can be hard if you don't know what you're doing. The controls are an issue I have with this game. Mostly when it comes to moving left and right. It feels somewhat clunky at times and to me, it felt like my inputs wouldn't register. Despite some of the gripes I have with Mr. Domino, I think it's a good game. It's a short game and can be fun gameplay. So yeah, Mr. Domino is creative, have somewhat unresponsive controls and can be a bit challenging if you don't know what you're doing.

i pity anyone who tries to stop him

The learning curve is harsh. Very fun though. The events in level 3 are really funny.

Super charming game. Rewards memorization. Soooometimes bullshit. But mostly a fun time.

Oh to be an anthropomorphic domino

You gotta check this out for sure. It's not my favorite game but it's a fun lil puzzle thing. Hard to describe. I'd call it a nice one off and leave it at that.

Highkey a banger video game. It's basically a game where you run around these circuit-like levels leaving behind dominoes to make them fall on specific designated trigger points, and when all the points have been activated, the levels are over. Linger in a level for too long, and Mr. Domino perishes. Each trigger spot has a designated space that knocks over any dominos that happen to be on it, so the sauce in the game comes from trying to manage the perfect run of setting everything up perfectly on one lap and watching the fireworks unfold on the second. There are also spaces on the levels that do things like change Mr. Domino's speed, replenishes some time, or hard resets the entire level. My only major gripe comes with how Mr. Domino controls; the levels are laid out on a grid and theres a sluggish heft in how he shifts between lanes and lays down dominoes, and if you don't grasp both the learning curve of how the game works and how to actually handle Mr. Domino, the game can certainly be frustrating. Once it all clicks though, this game rules and is incredibly satisfying to learn the levels and play through. I'd normally be upset about how this game has a limited continue feature, but since the game is for the most part entirely about memorizing the level layouts and there are only 6 levels it's not hard to get back to a previously game-overed level. If played well this game only takes like 30 minutes to clear.

Some might wager that this game has a misleading title, as in playing this you will find that through the myriad of obstacles that can and likely will slip you up, Mr. Domino is in fact actually one of the most stoppable characters in video game history. I wager that the title isn't necessarily a statement but rather an end goal; by learning and getting good at the game, with your efforts nobody will ever be able to stop Mr. Domino. If the ending is anything to go by, the only one that can truly stop Mr. Domino is himself. May he live on in our hearts forever as a true pioneer of dominokind. dominento mori

this was so fun up until the last level. I spent 30 minutes total between levels 1-5 and then took 5+ hrs on level 6. a lot had to do with that I didn't know each heal would subsequently heal less, making the level unbeatable. there is no indication of this, but only take the heals at the end of the first two parts and then somewhere in between on the last part if necessary. also with the last level, you have to do each part without taking an extra lap. imo they should have allowed like at least two tries per part. this part was such a fun killer because you had to play it exactly like they wanted. my brain would be more attentive watching youtube kids for 5 hrs rather than grind that level for 5 hrs.
aside from that, this game is so cool, love the vibes, and the music is amazing. I was quite happy playing this up until that last level. If you play this, you should probably just use like a cheat that gives you infinite time or something on that last level, or just stop at the last level. fun stuff
oh yeah the controls are very stiff but it's not really a problem except for one part, prior to the last level

me when chain reaction domino game where the protag kills themself at the end

I think they stopped Mr. Domino because I don't think he's coming back anytime soon...

No One Can Stop Mr. Domino! is a fast-paced endless runner in the veins of Temple Run or Minion Rush for cultured people, it pretty much is one of the first auto-runner games with one unique quirk being the fact that you place Domino all over the map which is one big circuit that endlessly repeats. The goal is to place lines of domino that Mr. Domino leaves behind him and to avoid the danger ahead while paying attention to activation blocks which when the dominos fall onto it, it will activate a trap like something you'd see in a mouse trap game and then activate the next line of domino you placed if it was on an orange transparent block.
I know this sounds weird but get in my place I don't think anyone wants to explain how Mr. Domino works you should just try it yourself, it's short and fun, with only 6 stages that can be beaten under an hour.

My main complaint about this game is the lack of content since only 6 levels is a bit too short, I at least wished they included side modes or just more things to give it more replay value because it's always gonna be the same six-stage with the same map so you can just remember all six maps and voila you can perfectly beat Mr. Domino, a map randomize mode would've been welcomed.
The second complaint is about the controls, this game is so fun to play but oh the controls... I can't stand the controls!... It's so stiff to move him around, you need to hold left for a bit for him to go left, you can't just tap and then he goes left once, it always ends up fucking things up at random when the game just doesn't want to work.

We need more Mr. Domino in our life.

A notably good arcadey point-hoarder. Very much bursting with colorful, non-Western weirdness a la something like the Katamari series - and unlike others I'll actually defend the shorter length because it really breeds the want to perfect these stages to your best ability, often when there's too many levels for these sorts of games after a point it just becomes fatiguing imo. However I won't defend the stiff and sometimes half-responsive controls, are they a part of the difficulty factor? Who knows, but while they're serviceable they really aren't the best and sorely hold back what sp easily could be an all-timer. I also love that you can customize the number on your domino's back, small features like that really win me over. Fun and creative.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game, I just wish it controlled a little better. Also great soundtrack.

The game is an okay puzzler but i love the name and I remember him being a graffiti in resident evil 3. Weird reference bro.
